My outside left of house landscaping light would not come on after trying to install a replacement light. They determined my transformer was bad and gave the details of what model to purchase to replace it. Secondly I had to replace a salt generator for my pool but after **** so I couldn't get my pool lights to come back on. I tried everything I could think of but nothing worked. Luminous was very throw and determined it was my inside manual light switch that needed to be replaced. I would never thought about that since it was working fine before the salt generator was installed. I was very impressed with their expertise and thoroughness of their work. It was also helpful for me to go over all the steps that were taken in determining the resolution. I would use Luminous in a heartbeat again.

The entire team was very professional, timely, and thorough in all work done. The office staff is very friendly and will answer any questions or find the answers and get back to me. I have never have been more impressed with a company with their responsiveness when I needed to have work done. They text you when someone is on their way and provide a picture of the service expert as well as a little about them so you know who to expect when they arrive. I would recommend this company in a heart beat.

The company representative was excellent in work performance and knowledge of the requested work to be done....the only thing I wish was a little more important to the employee was keeping the work area clean....

I had requested a quote for installing a home surge protector. Jason arrived on schedule. He took the time to listen to all my concerns, and was very patient in answering all my questions and explaining things to me. Although I had only requested a quote, I asked Jason if he could install the surge protector immediately. He did so, and did an excellent job. I will definitely call Luminous Electric if I need electrical work done in the future.

Great! The technician was knowledgeable and a hard worker.

We had a problem with one of our electric circuits where some lights and outlets worked but others did not. They trace the problem to a now defective/miss-wired fan/light switch on the fan/light itself and fixed it. They charged a minimum flat fee of $287 to come to the house and they fixed the problem for that amount since it did not take them too long to find the problem. We were glad that the problem was not in a defective or burnt out wire in the wall which we would have had to replace. They also gave us an estimate for $2800 to replace/upgrade our old electric panel to a 200AMP unit (our electric box is outside the house and exposed to the elements).

They were awesome! They even changed a lightbulb for me in a fixture that I couldn't reach. Outstanding service.

GREAT...Michael and Merek were wonderful to deal with--friendly, polite and very knowledgeable and professional> They diagnosed the problem very efficiently and fixed everything very promptly. Michael explained that the outlet problem suggested that the breaker panel might need to be updated and told me about two methods to do that. He also noticed my smoke detectors were broken and took care of replacing them while they were here--again, with great efficiency. The total cost seemed very reasonable for all they did, and they were totally pleasant and lovely. I would DEFINITELY hire them again!

This work was done on April 5 and 6. It took 2 days because we just bought an older home in Sarasota and the sellers didn't do much in the line of fixtures (all capped off) and there were some inspection issues that were not resolved that required repairs to clear the Florida 4 Point Inspection Report. Mike worked on Thursday, April 5th and returned with Nick on Friday, April 6. They worked very hard for 2 days at installing the lights, corrected non grounded outlet issues, reverse polarity and, capping off live wire in the crawl space, trouble shot an outlet and suggested a sensor for the outdoor light pole, and a few other items. Mike and Nick worked so hard that I thought it only fair that they were working through lunchtime to then go to another job--- I ran out to get them sandwiches. Please take care of your technicians when they are working this hard, I learned this from my dad who was a true southern gentleman. I was impressed by the professionalism and the text and email confirmations for the appointment. We have more projects in the future and we will be using Luminous again and requesting in advance the same technicians.

Very professional and on time. In assessing what they did and talking to another service I think the price quoted was quite high. Next time I will get at least one more estimate before I hire.

I called to get an idea on what kind of pricing would I be looking at and the receptionist allowed that they did not give any "ballpark" figures over the phone. I don't want to waste time with cost that are out of budget. I am sure that technicians have an idea of the level of effort required, but they were not interested in discussing. Off of my list.

Luminous Electric did some excellent work for me about a year ago. Once again the entire process from scheduling the appointment to completion of the work was perfect. I received a call about 20 minutes before Dan G. arrived so I was able to corral my dogs before he got here. Originally I had just scheduled replacement of a broken outlet but this morning my husband and I decided to have the other work done as well. I assumed I would get an estimate and would have to schedule another appointment to have the additional work done, but Dan G. was able to give me fair pricing and do the additional work immediately. This included him going to Home Depot and picking up the ceiling fan for me! By the end of the morning all the work was done. Dan G. was professional, courteous and friendly. I could not have asked for better service. Thanks, Dan G.!

They were thorough, gave good feedback, and were fair. We had an issue with some surprise work and a miscommunication (easy to do since I'm in another state, and probably partially my fault) but they handled it very professionally and fairly. Any work I need done in Florida I'll call them.

Mike arrived on time, fixed the wire and did some preliminary work on the electrical panel in the garage. About a week later, he changed out our old panel and replaced it. Mike told us in advance at his first visit, that the power would have to be turned off for about six hours, so we were prepared for that. It went well with no problems. Highly recommended!

Very well. I had the electricians out three times for the various jobs listed above and they were on time, neat, very knowledgeable, and pleasant. They sure know about electricity!

Never felt more worked over with nothing to show. Work would not even meet code.

See above. They did a great job and clarified issues that might need to be addressed in the future (we are the new owners of an old house). We will gladly call them again.

BAD BUSINESS ETHICS. I will never use Luminous Electric again. I am very disappointed in how Luminous does business. We contacted them for a job and explained to the dispatch person that we needed a dedicated GFI line installed in a customers bathroom that we were installing a whirlpool tub in the following week. She told me that they didn't have time to give me an estimate for this job (even though the job was scheduled on Thursday prior to the Tuesday appointment). I told them that we have used many different electric companies for this before and our price range is between $250 to maximum $450 depending on how long of a run is needed for this electrical installation. When the electrician shows up at the job he's gives us a quote of $737.00!! We questioned his price and were told it was because of the run length. At this point he knew we were at his mercy. We were at a job that had to be completed that day and he completely took advantage of the situation and price gouged almost double of what we are usually charged for the same service. The job took an hour an a half. I contacted Luminous Electric to make them aware of what we were charged thinking that their service guy must have overcharged us and wanted to make them aware of it so they could have an opportunity to make it right with us but that obviously didn't happen. Believe me, I have learned a lesson. I have worked with so many other companies, I just never expected them to charge such of an excessive price for the same job. BAD BUSINESS ETHICS

He was very helpful. I think he just did it because it was not a big deal. It just took him a minute to finish. He did some other work. He was very, very nice. He was prompt, extremely helpful, courteous, listened to me. It was great.

Very well. The employees were on time and I received a heads-up call from the office a half hour before they arrived. I am very happy with the service provided and recommend Luminous Electric highly!
