Description of Work: Installed new line for pendant lights above kitchen counter.Finished the 2 hours and still had approx. 1 hour to complete job and wanted over $700 to complete. Told him to finish up,and that I would complete myself,which I did.

Description of Work: I hired them on a $99 special for two hours of work. They fixed a couple of outlets and replaced a battery in a smoke detector on a high ceiling that I did not want my husband to climb up to. They did not spend the whole two hours so they did not charge me for a part that ordinarily I would have had to pay for. Thought that was very fair.

Description of Work: Service tech (accompanied by trainee)arrived and was told the two very simple items needed attention (a receptacle and a spotlite in MBa not working). Without even performing a simple check on the outages, Tech wrote up an estimate for a full electrical analysis @ $300+. I dismissed them immediately and called Luminous for a manager. The manager came to the home diagnosed the problem, fixed it in fifteen minutes and presented me with a bill for $269 with a credit for $100 of service & $59 that I'd already paid Angie's; Net cost to me: $59+$110=$169 . . . Manager was very friendly, apologetic, and professional, but cost of this service was very expensive.
