The owner answered my initial inquiry himself on a Saturday night and scheduled an appointment that week. The office called to confirm the appointment and the two electricians themselves called from the truck to tell me they were on time. They worked all day long, completing everything needed. They made thoughtful suggestions and were knowledgable about the local codes and laws. Each man had over 20 years of experience, they mentioned. I was impressed with their professionalism and with how neatly they worked, and then moved everything back perfectly after thoroughly cleaning up any dust that had been created. Things look great and everything works just as hoped. I'm really a perfectionist and couldn't have been more pleased. Moreover, they were genuinely nice guys -- clean cut, polite, well spoken and clear, with nice senses of humor. They honored the Angie's discount.

We had a breaker panel that had fuses that would blow out whenever a hairdryer and curling iron were plugged in at the same time. It is an older house so the panel needed updating. John and his team updated the box and now everything works perfectly! Thanks!

From the first phone call to the finished project they have been professional. All work was done at a high standard. Travis and his help were enjoyable to work with.

I purchased a coupon from Angie's list for a half days work for $200. The coupon was miss leading to me because John insisted on sending two workers which only got me 2 hours of work from the coupon. That would have been fine if they were 2 experienced electricians. One of the guys would stand around waiting for the experienced electrician to tell him what to do. That's all the complaints I have. They county inspector said they did a great job with the rough in. They did a good job dealing with a tight attic and the job was done right. Very pleased with the end product.

The guys were great, they called to let me know eta and arrived right on time. They were extremely pleasant and did a great job. They also paid a lot of attention to cleanliness...they used a drop cloth where they were working, wore shoe covers while in the house and made sure to clean up when they finished. I highly recommend Luminous and will definitely use them any time we need electrical work in the future.

I purchased a couple of Angie's list special's. The 4 man hours for $199 and the $88 for the outside GFI. We had them do a little extra work as well. I called and was able to schedule the work a couple of days later which was great. They called and were able to come a little bit early. Dallas and David arrived, we went over the work, they were very pleasant professional and did a great job.

Excellent work by professional and courteous electricians. Jerry M explained everything to us and even made some suggestions to improve some other fan switches we have. Only have great things to say about Luminous Electric and their staff. Recommend highly.

An experienced electrician came with a young man learning the ropes. They were very on time. Both were very pleasant, covered their shoes as they walked through the house to get to the back, used the side yard after that to get to their truck. He explained the outlet box to me after it was installed, how to reset it, how to punch out a tab if something was going to be permanently plugged in. They cleaned up the work area perfectly.

I used my Angie's List Big Deal coupon for adding the new ceiling fan and adding two new track lights. In all cases, the wiring was available but no electrical boxes. For only $38 they supplied the boxes and did a great installation. They placed the track lights perfectly so that they were symmetrical on the ceiling and directed the lights where they were most needed. In addition, I had five electrical outlets that were working either intermittently or not at all. They took the outlets apart, showed me that there was corrosion present (they were 25 years old) and then replaced them. Voila - a safer, lighter home. We also decided to have a remote control installed on the new ceiling fan for convenience and they took care of that also. Throughout all of this Travis and Keith demonstrated not only that they were totally capable and knowledgeable, but they explained to me everything they were doing and why they were doing it in a clear and non-condescending manner. They also made a few recommendations for improving the safety of our aging electrical system but did not pressure us to get the work done. In the near future we will have them implement their suggestions. The cost of $600 included the cost of the Big Deal coupon. I highly recommend Luminous Electric to anyone needing any electrical service as I felt they were very professional, knowledgeable, honest and reliable. What more can you ask for?

In plain and simple terms the service and workmanship was top notch, along with excellent cleanup. The technician was the best and I was very comfortable in conversation with him. If you use their services and your tech is Jerry, I believe you will be as satisfied as I am.

I would highly recommend this company. They were very professional. Very prompt in scheduling and showed up when they said they would. Technicians were very polite and helpful. Technicians were also very neat, used drop clothes, shoe coverings and cleaned up after themselves. I was very happy with the work they completed.

I bought a Angie's List deal for $199 for 4 hours of time. The job took a total of around 14 man hours so it used the deal hours at $50 each and 10 extra hours that worked to be around $75 per man hour. John the owner was very professional and was very kind to work my job right in his schedule as I was only going to be at our second home for 1 week. Did a nice job and left the house clean and breezy with our four new fans. THANKS John and Luminous Electric!

Great! Jerry was on time (actually a few minutes early!), very courteous, friendly, and was finished in just over an hour. He was very respectful of my home, wore boot covers while inside and used a drop cloth below his work area to keep from dropping anything on the carpets (where my daughter plays). I would definitely recommend Luminous Electric to anyone who may have the need for electrician and will absolutely use them again.

John scheduled an appointment, was right on time, cleaned up everything afterwards and everything works like new. I would use Luminousagain!
