I had called Mark to perform a home inspection and am pleased to say that he exceeded all my expectations. Mark was very flexible when coordinating an appointment time with me to do the inspection, communication with him was easy and prompt every single time, and he was very professional. He arrived on time (actually a few minutes early) the day of the appointment and did a thorough job in the inspection. He was very patient and knowledgeable when I asked questions, & was pleasant to talk to. My inspection report was available to me within a day or so with detailed descriptions and pictures. I also really liked the fact that Mark, the owner of the company, is actually the one who comes out to do the inspection. I believe you get a different experience when the owner of the company actually performs the service themselves. They generally take more pride in doing the work right and providing the best customer service then when its an employee of the company. Mark even came back to inspect the air conditioner within a few days since he wasn't able to do so the day of the inspection since the temperature had dropped that weekend and the unit had been off for an extended period of time. He said that forcing it on in those conditions could potentially damage the system. This to me, showed me that he truly values customer service and the quality of his work! I would definitely recommend Mark to anyone who is looking for a professional, knowledgeable, high-quality home inspector!

Mark was very professional, and friendly. He showed up to the appointment a little bit early and he went right to work. He presented his findings to us in a professional, and friendly way. If we didn't understand something, he was patient and he took time to explain it to us. The reports were very clear and included a lot of photos taken throughout the house. Any problem areas were highlighted and included in a summary.

Initially, I had looked up different inspection companies on angies list in the area and had noticed Waypoint Property Inspection with many positive reviews. Afterwards, I had asked my real estate agent and she also had recommended the same company. Waypoint Property Inspection is also listed as a great company with the American Society of Home Inspector's (ASHI.com) and the National Institute of Building Inspectors at NIBI.com. After thorough review of the company, I called Marc Wahl to setup an appointment. He was very cordial on the phone and explained that he was going to be out of town to go to a Home Inspectors Convention and scheduled it for when he returned. The day of the inspection, he was there a few minutes prior to my arrival and appointed time. He already started the inspection of the outside of the home. He worked methodically and was very helpful in answering any of my questions. I am not very handy and had a list of questions. He was very patient with me and my lack of knowledge and made me feel more confident afterwards. I was very pleased with the entirety of the inspection. The report he had typed and sent over was very prompt and very detailed.

Mark was very accomodating in regards to scheduling the inspection. He arrived early and was very thorough. Mark pointed out what items needed to be addressed about the house. He even answered all of my questions very clearly and eased my concerns. I would definately recommend Mark and Waypoint Inspections again.

Mr. Wahl arrived early (even before we did) and at the end of the inspection he walked us through his findings. He was very courteous and professional and the best part is that we obtained the inspection report within 24 hours, which allowed us to meet the deadline given by the seller (not to mention the report was very thorough). I contacted Mark from Waypoint inspections with a set list of questions. I am a first time home-buyer and was quite nervous- I wanted to make sure that we had a great inspector and that we wouldnt run into the problems that you see on all of those home repair shows! Mark is affiliated with the American Society of Home Inspectors and after doing my research I discovered that the ASHI has the most stringent professional standards when it comes to home inspection. So he had huge points to start with. Then I saw that he was listed on Angie's list- with reviews- another bonus. I asked him how long he had been in the business, how many inspections he does a year, and the type of report he would usually provide. My research said that a home inspector should be in the business at least two years, be able to provide a sample report and complete a minimum of 15 inspections a year in the area. Mark directed me to real reports available right on his website, listed references and homes he had inspected in our area (he inspects over 200/year in the county alone) and explained how he became an inspector and his job before then. Basically, he passed with flying colors. He was available the same week that I called, which was great because we needed a quick inspection. Between the time we spoke on the phone and the inspection, Mark sent several confirmation and follow up emails. Again, as a first time homebuyer I was quite nervous and shot back several additional questions- all which he had actually answered in his first email which I read to quickly to notice. He was respectful and responsive in all of our communications. We set a time to meet and he was already at the house working on our inspection when we pulled up. Personally, he was wonderful to work with and took us through the house at the end of the inspection step by step showing us any potential issues- even the smallest of things. He even found a missing cover to an electric panel! We had a full report within 24 hours including pictures and a great write up. Our insurer didnt even blink on giving us a discount for our wind mitigation inspection after receiving Mark's report. Great service and wonderful to work with.

The guy was friendly enough and he answered all my questions about different stuff that I saw in the house. I think he did a good job but I wouldn't know until stuff starts to break.

It went very well. The home inspector was prompt and professional. He did a thorough inspection of the house. The report was well written and included many pictures to illustrate his comments. My husband was present during the entire process. The inspector explained everything and provided tips and advice in areas that needed attention.

The appointment was scheduled for 9:30 am. Mark arrived promptly. My realtor was present for his arrival. I arrived 15 minutes later, due to a previous commitment. The inspection had been underway, by the time of my arrival. The termite inspector arrived later on. During the inspection, Mark pointed out several of the flaws in the house. He also had explained to me the simplicity in making many of the repairs. The inspection was completed within two hours.

Recently we had the pleasure of having Mark Wahl of Waypoint property Inspectors inspect our new home. Mark was recommended to us from our Realtor. I must tell you we were so impressed with our inspection. Not only did he have the latest inspection tools including an infrared meter to measure moisture as well as a camera to see into the walls. We got a 22 page report including pictures of everything he inspected. Mark did make some suggestions to us which were not obvious to the naked eye. He also pointed out some potential areas that could become a problem. Based on Marks inspection we closed on the home and the contract included all of Mark's suggestions.
