Description of Work: It was an a.c. check. | |The tech didn't check my filter, nor did he look at my thermostat. He said he did flush my line and check the equipment up in the attic and outside. |He was pleasant, wore booties, but only did 3/4 of a a.c. check. |I was hoping to use this company for a service contract on my a.c., but I will keep looking.

Description of Work: Cleaned A/C ducts. Think they did an OK job on cleaning the ducts. Can't really tell if the ducts are clean or not. Had to remind the technicians that a A/C check-up was part of the deal. He did the inspection and added coolant after the reminder. If my ducts are clean I believe the service was worth what I paid for it.

Description of Work: Air duct cleaning. Work was scheduled to be done between 9am and 1pm. Their office called at 12:30pm to say they were running late. Two men arrived at 3:00pm. They spoke Spanish and when I asked that they speak English, they either couldn't or wouldn't comply. I was asked to provide them with scrubbing sponges to clean the vent covers and drop cloths to protect the furniture. At one point, the power went out. Not an overall pleasant experience.

Description of Work: The first appointment was cancelled due to mechanical issues but was conveniently rescheduled and kept on time. My only disappointment was when the technicians replaced the vents after cleaning the ducts. I didn't feel that they washed the vents adequately so I took over that task. Unfortunately, there were dirty finger smudges all over the edges of the vents which I did not notice until after they'd left. I was able to clean most off myself, but two are in a vaulted ceiling which I cannot reach. I had to wait for my husband to clean them. This was a viable solution for me but may not be for all clients. As I did not call them to report the smudges, I do not know if they would have returned to correct the issue.

Description of Work: The pre-service communications were courteous and efficient and the appointment was set to my convenience. |They arrived on time and cleaned my 11 ducts thoroughly within 2 hours. They cleaned up my floors before leaving. |They even cleaned two of my ceiling fans with no charge, even though that was not part of the contract. |The service persons were courteous and knowledgeable; it was easy for me to trust them after a few minutes of watching them work. |They did not rush the job, even though it was lunch time. |I'm satisfied with the service and would use them again; I do not hesitate to recommend Direct Air Conditioning.

Description of Work: They cleaned the vents. It appeared to be a brush attached to a vacuum. I expected a more intensive cleaning . A vent cleaning was done years ago. All vents were sealed off while one was worked on. That time they brought a huge machine. It was much more expensive. Using the system Direct Air used it seemed that when the brush was pulled out dust came out with it. The tech did mostly sweep up. Next time I do a deal like this I will ask more questions and get all the details.

Description of Work: The technician Luis was absolutely wonderful. He went above and beyond what he had to do for the service. Angie's list should be proud to have Direct Air Conditioning as one of their vendors. I was so impressed I even asked for an estimate to possibly get a new air-conditioning system installed.

Description of Work: Luis and his assistant did a great job. They cleaned out all the vents in the ceiling and took some of them outside to clean more thoroughly. They could have told me that all of the vents needed deep cleaning for an additional charge but they only selected the ones that were in desperate need. They went into my attic to check on the equipment out there, and discovered I had a pool enclosure that I did not know about from the previous homeowner. They very kindly helped bring the entire thing down. | |When they were finished with the vent cleaning, they went through the house and cleaned up any mess they might have made from falling desk. | |Overall they went above and beyond their responsibility and I would definitely use them in the future

Description of Work: Maintainance contract for a year 2 visits. 1st today spent over an hour going over the HVAC system. Found a problem with the heat identified the problem the installer didn't do correctly or at all.checked freon voltage.identified some things that should address in the near future.the unit was vacuumed the drain valve. Unit was cooling effiently. Louis was extremely competent and courteous. Explained everything in the contract and extras for purchase through Angie's list. It was a pleasure doing business with this company I would recommend them to friends and family. And did to friends whom needed a new unit to replace one that outlived its usefulness.
