Direct Air took care of everything without a hitch. I would recommend them to anyone who were looking for an good AC Company.

Because the company was well rated on Angie's list I called them in June of 2017, for a maintenance check-up on my A/C-Heating unit. A company representative promptly arrived and advised me the coils on my A/C unit needed cleaning and they recommended all vents be cleaned. Approximately eight hundred dollars later I was told the unit was in good working order and should last, with annual maintenance, for many years. December 2017 was the first time I needed to use the heating function. The fan worked but no heat came out of the unit. I called the company and explained to them that they had told me the unit was functioning properly in June but the first time I tried to use the heating part of the system no heat came out. I was told they no longer worked in my area. They certainly worked in my area in June but in December when I requested they return to fix something they had missed (my heating system not working) they no longer could drive to my location. They may no longer work in my area but without doubt they should have found a way to correct what they missed when they worked on my unit. Very unprofessional.

They replaced the whole unit, but unit kept freezing and they had to come back numerous time to figure out what was wrong. A year later I had problem where unit would not cool they again came back few times to tell me that freon was low and they charged me for it, but that did not fix the problem. It turn out to be thermostat wasn't working right. They wanted to charge me $250 to replace thermostat that was still under warranty, and owner of the company was rude when I pointed out that they charged me for freon that did not fix the problem now they wanted to charge me more money for something that was under warranty. Hence to say I replaced the thermostat on my own and I will be looking for new a/c company.

I would definitely use them again. He was on time, a young kid but very mature. On time, actually a little ahead of time. They came when they said they would. He even called when he was on his way. He arrived, did his job and he was very professional. The quality of the service was good. He explained everything.

Juan came out and looked at my very old system. He was the only person from a company that came out and took sometime with me. He went through everything and explained everything. A week or less, the company came out and installed the new unit. The gentlemen who came out to install the unit were extremely professional. They were in and out in the four hours that I was told. The unit is still running great and I am beyond happy with it. The only thing I would have liked to have had a follow up call to see how the unit is running. Other than that, they did an amazing job!

As a first time home owner, this was above and beyond what i had expected. The information provided will help me avoid having to spend more $ down the road on maintenance and up keep of my system

Excellent from start to finish. Manny was fantastic. He was honest and trustworthy with his opinion and evaluation. I had 3-4 quotes and his offer of product and service was by far the best. Jorge the office administrator was fantastic. He facilitated the coordination of the installation according to my work schedule. His people showed up on time and were very professional. Technicians Kevin and Juan are very skilled and knowledgeable. Took the time to answer all my question. i highly recommend this company. i use Angieslist all the time as my first source of reviews and I happy that I chose Direct Air.

I purchased this deal because we are just finishing with a home remodeling project and we wanted to get the dust out of the ducts. We sell Angie's List deals for our company, so I know after a purchase the business gets an email notifying them of the purchase and the business is encouraged to call the customer and schedule an appointment. I waited a few days and after not hearing anything I called the company myself to schedule my appointment. The young man that came out was very nice. He had great manners and went to work right away. He noticed that there was crushed and separated duct work in the attic and that the coils were dirty, which I appreciated very much. I had thought that something was going on as the back part of the house was feeling warmer. The problem that I had was that I felt that the technician was trying to up sell me, which I did not like. He told me that the duct work could not be repaired, but would have to be replaced. It was to old, etc. My family has been in the home inspection business for a long time, so I know a few things about the mechanics of a home and a few of the things that he told me just didn't ring true. After our appointment I contacted my contractor since the duct work wasn't damaged prior to the project and they replaced the damaged areas with no problem. I think companies with this kind of philosophy is looking for naive customers so that they can run up their bill to recoup the discount that they offered to customers and that doesn't sit right with me.

Juan showed up on time with a smile on his face. He was very professional. He spent a good deal of time assessing our needs. He explained everything very thoroughly. He also went out of his way to schedule and perform the repair personally rather than send someone less experienced with our situation. Overall, Juan did a great job! I will update this when the full project is completed.

Juan was great. He arrived on time and explained what he was going to do. After he finished, he explained what he did and showed me what was done. He reviewed the costs and asked if I had any questions.

Representative showed up on day of call. Examined the system and offered 3 choices of best replacement worker & pep showed up next day, replaced everything is in 5 hrs. Showed all paperwork & how to use. AC is good expression.

I called to have service to my air conditioning unit as it stopped working. The technician diagnosed the problem and called to tell me that I had a leak and it would be $575 to fix the problem. He could not go up on the roof, he said he was too big to fit through the opening to the roof. He told me that he would have his colleague go up there once I agreed to them doing the repair. I asked him to check the date that the unit was installed and he said he checked and the unit was only 4 years old. I did not feel comfortable with this diagnostic so I told him not to do the job at this time. I called another air conditioning company and that technician was able to climb on the roof and he diagnosed that the disconnect switch was burnt. Upon him changing the disconnect switch, the unit worked and does not have a leak. I called the dispatch person from Direct AC, (George) and explained that they did not diagnose the problem correctly and to refund the $75 that they charged me. He never got back to me after my calling many times. I would never use this company again and anyone who uses this company should be very careful as they misdiagnosed the problem and don't even have the decency to call back to discuss this. These people are not honest.

After the service call, there was no problem stated with the air conditioner. Not long after, the air conditioner leaking from my attic. The ceiling and wall stained by water. There is water on the floor in the closet and in the hall between the bathroom and bedroom, as well as in other places on the second floor. I had a friend look at the air conditioner. He said that this was due to a sloppy installation, too-small drip pan for the unit. When I contacted the business again, they were unwilling to come out and look at the damage done.

Juan was very professional in explaining the air duct cleaning process. He took his time, was thorough and left the house clean upon completion. Would recommend Ivan.

Very well. Juan and his co-worker arrived on time and were very polite. They put on booties over their shoes before starting work so as not to track any dirt around the house. They worked efficiently and explained the process to us. I felt that the service was worth the money and I would certainly use them again.
