He refused to give me a bid even after I explained that I didn't need someone with a license. Although he gave me a reference, his reference refused to give me a bid also.

Description of Work: Benito is a terrific handyman even though painting is his specialty. He replaced lights in the ceiling 17' tall, and did all kinds of miscellaneous small jobs.

+ 3 moreCalled in the morning and Mr. Escauriza showed up the same day to give an estimate. Once the price was decided on, he was able to do the work the same day. He had another crew working near by so it worked out that he could stay and complete the job right then and there. He does not generally do landscaping but because it was only trimming he was able to do the work. The trash was removed and taken to the designated area for branches and trash. Cleaned the area and was gone in a few hours. He specializes in carpentry and plumbing type repairs. We will definitely call him when we need more specialized work done at the house.
Description of Work: Cleaning the gutters and downspouts. Thinning out overgrown patio plants.

Description of Work: I needed someone to help me install a stacked washer and dryer. I could not lift the dryer onto the top of the washing machine by my self .I called Benito and he came to my house after he finished another job he was working on. He called to tell me he was on his way and he arrived about ten minutes later. I helped him lift the dryer and then held it up for him as he connected the exhaust (vent) pipe and he also plugged in the dryer behind the washing machine. The total time was less than 10 minutes. I was very happy and I will use him again for things like painting.
