Had a problem one with ethe electrical going to irrigation and had to replace a GFI outlet. Outlet went bad, call the office, still to this date have not recieved a call back. Called Mister Sparky out of Sarasota, also has offices in the area nopw. They came oput and fixed the problem so we could leave the next day to go away for several months. Would never reccommend them again.

On November 12, 2012 I purchased The Big Deal advertised on Angie's List for $249. On or about two days later Bobbi Jo called to schedule the installation. Since the TV would be a Christmas gift I informed her I would call after Christmas to arrange for installation. On December 28th I called and Danielle answered the telephone. She said there was a computer crash and the information she needed was not available. Danielle said she would call me back on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. On January 13th I noticed The Big Deal was offered again at $50 less than I paid so @4:39 I called again as I still had not heard anything from Danielle. Bobbi Jo answered this time. I related my story to her. She said she needed to do some research and would call me back the next day (Sat) since she was working that day. I suggested she wait and call me on Monday after 1:00 p.m. Not hearing anything on Monday the 14th I called again on Tuesday, January 15th @12:00 noon. There was no one available (lunch?) to take my call. The answering machine said someone would call back within 30 minutes. Not receiving a return call I called again at 3:15. Bobbi Jo answered and said the first available appointment would be Monday, January 28th between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. She said she would send me an email confirmation (never received). On Friday, January 25th @4:55 p.m. Bobbi Jo called and asked if she could move the installation time to between 10:00 and 12:00 noon. That was fine with me. On Monday January 28th @ 11:03 Danielle called to say the tech was on his way. Sam I. (tech) arrived at 11:31 and presented his business card. He began work immediately with another tech (Jesse A.) arriving shortly after. I paid an additional $149 to have an outlet and splitter installed for the TV and to connect the existing cable wire to the master bedroom. I'm sure the reasons for not returning calls in a timely manner were related to the computer crash, holidays and I believe short staffed. Every office occasionally has problems. Nevertheless everything agreed upon was done in an excellent manner. Both Jesse and Sam were very professional, cleaned up any debris and did not take a lunch break even though I offered to go get them some sandwiches. I also will call Speedy Electric when I have another TV wall mounted and/or possiblly for an estimate when I run electric run to my dock. Congratulations on a job well done!

Jesse arrived on time. Since we have new carpeting we were very impressed that he covered his shoes. He took a look at what we had, said no problem, gave us an estimate and started the project. Very personable and easy to work with. We will definetly call for Jesse next time we need some electrical work performed.

Purchased a whole-house surge suppressor as an Angie's List Big Deal for $149. Was contacted by Speedy Electric of Bonita Springs shortly thereafter to set up an installation date. Very pleased with professional quality of Speedy Electric and their technician, Tim. His professionalism made it very easy to speak with him regarding this service visit and have complete confidence in his work. Task was completed within a 30 minute period. I mentioned to the technician that I would like additional electrical work done (landscape lighting) and he arranged for a estimator to stop by that afternoon with a quote. I will be using Speedy Electric again for future electric needs.

We wanted an extra dimmer switch because of where we had the other ones. The dimmer switch is less expensive than the light fixture. They only did 3 out of the 4 we paid for. They didn't need to do any additional wiring because it was already there. So the work wasn't complicated to do. Since we didn't use the 4th light we asked for another dimmer switch. They didn't want to work with us. They did give a lot of excuses instead of doing customer service. The technician did a great job. I just think they could of worked with us a little bit better.

It went well. I am very pleased with technicians work.

Excellent. Sam was amazing in his dexterity doing an impossibly tough job. He had little room to work and was superb about working under very cramped conditions. I still am not sure how he did it. He deserves significant praise for the job he did. The home was built in 1984 and had no fan in the back bedroom-and its very apparent why when the logistics were understood it was not done before we decided to give it a shot with Speedy electrics help. They made the impossible happen. Thanks for a great job. He was so efficient we didn't know he had been here after leaving. No mess, no issues.

I had to make several calls to get a date for the service call. The shop needs more than one person who is able to schedule when they run specials that will increase the volume of calls. The tech was professional, he arrived on time and the job only took him 30 minutes. Wouldn't recommend again because there was no "deal". I took the $99 special and had to write a check for $41 in addition for "parts" that can be purchased for $20. I don't believe $200/hour is reasonable for this type of job.

Professional, timely and saved me money.

This is an excellent company to deal with. We had a minor hiccup on the day they came out for my estimate, and they felt very bad about it. Not only did they give me a nice credit towards my bill, but they also sent a nice card with a $10 gift card to Target. They arrived on time on the day of the installation and Sam done a excellent job and in a timely manner. He cleaned up after himself and was very polite and nice. I cannot say enough nice things about this company, and I already have more plans in place to use them again.

The electrician who came to do the installation was prompt, courteous and highly professional. He worked clean and neat.

This was our first time using Angies List and Speedy Electric! Our expectations were exceeded beyond words. On top of the great service and professional staff, we used their coupon towards our electrical problem we were having on our dock that serviced our sprinkler system. They found the problem, replaced the needed parts and within two hours my sprinkler system was working again. We had other companies come out to troubleshoot our problem but they could not find it. Speedy electric ran down the problem, gave us an estimate and we scheduled the work within a day. We are so happy with this company that we referred our parents for some electrical work as they had very old wiring. They are so happy and they tell all their friends. It took like 20 days back and forth just to even schedule a visit. When I would call them, they would say they would call me back, they wouldn't call me back. I thought they were kind of rude to me on the phone. When we scheduled the visit, they didn't show up. They told me that I had to be home between 2pm and 5pm, which I had to take a half day of work for, they called me at 5:45 to tell me that they weren't coming out.

They did exactly what we agreed upon...although, if given an option, I would have upgraded to a quieter fan. Also, I assumed they would vent it to the outside of our house, like our other bath vent. But, they lead the exhaust hose "into the soffit". The technician explained they always do that.

I had a coupon with them and I really had a hard time scheduling them. They finally came up to the hall. They seemed pretty competent; but I just had a heck of the time scheduling them. I don't know if I would use them again. They are still doing work for me because I have a coupon. They are coming back in January to do some more work. They fixed one of the three things that I asked for right away. They told me what they thought was wrong. They said that they needed more people to do the work and they scheduled the time to come back. They subtracted Angie's List ticket and asked me a bill payment of 50%, which I paid them. They are coming back on January 11th to finish the job. I kept calling and calling, and no one called me back. Then I asked for my money back and they said that I have to talk to Angie's List. I was really dissatisfied with the scheduling process. I thought their price was high. They were on time and were punctual. They were professional. I would never use them again.

It was a good overall experience. We will use them again.

I was happy with what they did and they did a great job. They were honest and they tried to save me money. They were late but they called me to let me know, which I appreciated.

The surge protector took 9 months to install because of miscomunication on the property managers part. Speedy still installed it when they had access to the house even though it took 9 months to do it.

It was very frustrating trying to get a current status on the part they said they ordered. They never did explain what had gone wrong.

Didn't have enough time to do all the extra items I needed but changed out 3 receptacle boxes. Scheduled for next week to complete everything including adding 3 receptacles, changing a switch. Need an estimate for a switch on a fan, yet to hear back on that item.

I should've known there was going to be a problem from the initial phone call to schedule. The receptionist seemed either overwhelmed or uninterested because she more or less said she wasn't ready to schedule the Angie's List Big Deal services yet and would work down her list and call me when she was ready. Once we were finally scheduled (after calling again), the technicians came and did a great job. Unfortunately, they charged my husband $300 to move the fixture! The Big Deal I bought clearly said it would be $75 to move the fixture up to 15 feet. When I got home and realized the mistake, I called the company and they said they would come out to inspect. They said it was their company policy to present an estimate before any work is done and have it signed by the customer. They did no such thing! I wish they had because I would've reminded them of the fine print that says it is $75 to move the fixture. I have emailed the company 8 more times regarding my refund with only two responses "I was sick and am working down my list" and "I have to prioritize, you are on my list to review" and that last one was over a month ago! I am furious and frustrated with the lack of customer service. It is shocking to be treated so poorly by a company especially when I asked for an estimate on other work while they were installing the fixture! I trust that Angie's List will stand by the company's they promote with Big Deals and remedy this situation. In the meantime, I would absolutely avoid working with this company because of they do not know how to handle their work load and are avoiding this mistakes. *The provider responded that they provided up front pricing in writing but did not do that. Also, they replaced existing wiring and charged for it when the Angie's list stated the charge was moving from an existing fixture to a new spot- in our case, 11 feet from the original fixture. The company refused to issue a refund even though they admitted the mistake and authorized a credit. I am outraged and would not wish this treatment on anyone. PLEAE AVOID THIS COMPANY

The service rep. came on time. DId the job in a reasonable amount of time.

It was a good deal overall. There is an upsell involved, which we did not purchase.
