Polite local family owned business. Sara and Barbara from dispatch kept us informed of our technician's arrival time. The job he was at before ours was more involved than anticipated. Robert was great, explanations were clear, he had everything he needed and was out in under an hour. There was no upselling involved. The job looks very nice and was $300 less than a large chain competitor's estimate, for the exact same thing!

Speedy electric has been my go to electrician for a number of years. Three months ago I had some work done and asked for an estimate for additional work. No one has called me back with an estimate even though I have called and seft several messages. Looks like their not my go to electrician any longer. I'll go to some one else.

It went quick and I was Impressive the installer was very kind, patient, and Was very knowledgeable. He answered all the questions I had about the job. Would hire this company again and would recommend it.

Cost for service charge - no service provided - seems excessive for three time repeat customer. Asked tech to advise supervision and have someone get back to me. No contact.

Called for a light fixture not working. Technician traced problem back to wall switch (actually 2 switches). Very satisfied with the knowledge and professionalism.

Jesse got here within 15 minutes of our call and figured out our baffling electrical symptoms immediately. We thought we had a ghost, or maybe a UFO hovering above the house, but he very quickly found that we had a problem with our connection to the power company causing fluctuating voltage on all of the 110 circuits which could fry our whole house! He navigated FPL's horrible phone system to get us an immediate emergency response from them. Soooooo glad we called Speedy Electric. The office staff was also very supportive and professional even though we were quite stressed out. This is our second job with them. The first time we called them they were just as quick and excellent. There is now no question who we will be calling for any future electrical work. Thanks Speedy Electric!!!!!

Project went great. Speedy Electric was great to work with and everything was completed on time and perfect.

Speedy Electric installed and hooked up a Kohler 20 kW generator and transfer switch to my home’s electrical panel. They did an excellent job and all of their employees and staff were very professional. Scheduling of the job was very quick, they used copper wiring instead of cheaper aluminum wiring, they completed the job in one day, and cleaned up the job site. Jesse was especially knowledgeable, completed the generator start-up, and made sure the generator and transfer switch were working correctly. Would highly recommend them for connecting a generator or any of your electrical needs. You don’t typically find companies that quote a fair upfront price, fit you into the schedule quickly, are on time, professionally complete the job, and clean up the site before they leave, but Speedy Electric did all of this and more. It was a pleasure working with them, and I will not hesitate to use them again for any future electrical work.

Speedy Electric gave me a quote of $3900 to do the electrical for my kitchen. I was required to put 50% down to make the appointment and then I was required to pay an additional $1500 once they came out and did the rough. I have been trying to get an appointment for them to come and complete the work since 10/30/19. They will not answer my calls, or if I get an answer I am told that someone will call back to schedule the appointment and no one returns calls. I cant finish my kitchen until the electrical is done. They have been paid 90% for a job that is 50% done. I have sent emails requesting an appointment or a refund of the unfinished work. I have not received a response. Now it seems I will have to hire another company to come and finish the job. I have NEVER been treated so unprofessional by a company that I have hired for a service. It has been VERY stressful and disappointing.

All went well and Jesse did a great job of cleaning up after the completion of the job.

Wayne and Johnny did a terrific job! We received emails saying they were en route before they arrived. They were careful to cover their work area before they started work. They installed the light with a minimum of fuss. They cleaned up after themselves. The light looks terrific and there was no follow-up painting or patching required. We had priced a few others; they were right in the ballpark. We are very pleased and would happily them again.

The service team arrived on time as scheduled and completed the work in a very professional manner. All old lights and packaging materials were taken away and our house was totally clean when they finished. Johnny was extremely polite, respectful and a nice guy. The cost was very reasonable and I highly recommend this contractor.

The electrician was professional and kind. He got to work right away and kept me informed. The only issue I had was that he was suppose to install 3 ceiling fans and a bathroom light fixture but due to the painter being in the room he needed to work in, he stated he would come back the next day. The next day came and I was counting on him being there and he never showed up. The charges came to $330 to install 2 ceiling fan and a bathroom light fixture. Their prices are $90 for a fan, so for two fans it was $180, then another $20 to remove the old ceiling fans, so since there was two fans you have to add an additional $40. The light fixture was another $50 and another $70 if you have less than 3 items to do. Needless to say their prices are not cheap. I would have given them an A had he shown up the next day as he said he was going to do.

It was a pleasure to have Wayne from Speedy Electric install a new switch in our dining room. He was scheduled to arrive between 8am - 10am. I received an email that he was on his way and he arrived at 8a. He quoted a very fair price and did the installation; during which he tapped the work areas. He vacuumed the area thoroughly. The work quality was excellent. I will retained hire Speedy Electric in the future and I recommend that you do as well.
