Service was excellent. However, "The Big Deal" coupon was misleadind. It stated $99 for two hours of professional electrical services. My bill was for $393.89 less $180.00 Angies list purchase leaving me a charge of $213.89 to Speedy Electric plus the $99 already paid to Angies lis leaving a total of 312.89 for two hours and fifteen minutes of service.

Great response, great outcome. Courteous, knowledgeable and responsive. Performed the work as promised and when promised; did additional work at my request on the spot. I would certainly recommend them.

This is the second time that we've had them do work for us. They do good work and are priced competitively. My only complaint is that, before they left, I asked for a quote on some additional work and I'm still waiting to hear back from them.

tSam arrived exactly at the time that had been scheduled. He performed the work quickly and professionally. Scott was also very personable. I was looking for a professional electrical company as we are in the process of moving here to Florida and trying to establish a list of contractors. I think I just found my company!!

They were very responsive regarding the estimate and the subsequent work. They also walked me through using the new switch, with an actual demonstration, and provided written instructions. They were also very competitive with the cost.

Speedy Electric was responsive on all levels. The appointment was made and then communication was consistent through both email and phone. The electrician traced an electrical connectivity problem with my pool light and found and corrected the problem. When discussing the seasonal use of my house offered additional services at a discounted price because he was already there. He then installed a "coach light timer" that will control my exterior lights when gone. The experience was excellent and will use them again whenever the need.

An electrician arrived within the time-window that had been arranged, calling me about 15 minutes before he arrived to verify that I was expecting him. He came to the door ready to start, with tools, new sockets, a bucket for discarded parts and socks to put over his shoes. He turned off circuit breakers as he proceeded through the house while resetting those where he had finished so we were only without power where he was working. He did a very good job overall, and cleaned up debris that fell on the floor as best he could.It took him about 75 minutes to complete the job, which meant that I still had his services for another 45 minutes. When he asked me if there was anything else he could do, I had him change two flourescent light bulbs in a bathroom that were beginning to flicker and difficult for me to access. He asked me if I wanted him to change the batteries in the smoke detectors, but I had recently done that. He did tell me that at some point our 20 year old flourescent fixtures in the bathrooms and kitchen would need replacing, and said that there is a new type of fixture on the market that has a solid state ballast and a new type of bulb (thinner and longer-lasting). He also said that it would be a good idea to install new smoke detectors as the current ones are also 20 years old which is well beyond the recommended life span. He then gave me a bill for the cost of the parts, thanked me, and left. Overall, I felt he did an excellent job and also gave me some good advice.

They were responsive to my phone call, showed up on time, and completed the job quickly with no mess. I would use them again.

As always: on time, fast, neat, helpful and they listen to the customer and they let you ask questions!!! They will be back!!!!

Speedy Electric arrived on time. I was asked a few questions and they went right to work. The installation was fast and professional and cleanup was perfect. I really think I got more than my money's worth as the extra wiring was more than I had estimated. The owner of Speedy Elec did the installation. He also evaluated my current 30 year old electrical panel and FPL connections and advised me of future areas of attention. He did not press me to do this now, he did not try to scare me with doom and gloom. I really appreciate that!! I will be upgrading my electrical panel in the near future and Speedy will be my contractor of choice. I would have zero quams about recommending these folks to others.

Bought a $99 special through Angie's List for two hours of electrical work. Speedy arrived on time, did the job, cleaned up, and only charged me an extra $25 for parts. I could not believe that the entire job only cost $125. Do yourself a favor and call them. They are actually honest and sincere about their work. A real treat in this market!

All work was done in good time and efficiently and professionally. I would absolutely use this company, Speedy electric, again.

Two gentlemen came out to the home. I told them what I would like for them to do based on the advice of another electrician. They said in the truck for 20 minutes to write a proposal. They said I would need to pay an additional $150 for the trainee that was with him with electrician. I felt that they were overcharging for the wires and they said it would take 4 hours with 1 person and 2.5 with two people. I declined and requested a refund.

Speedy Electric Inc was very professional, very clean, they showed up on time, and they're competitively priced. They were very courteous and quick to get back to me.

From the time we contacted the vendor, we received courteous and efficient service. This is a reputable firm, and the prices are fair. There were no hidden costs.

The company did not perform the work as we were not satisfied with the conditions of the estimate.

Accepted bids (and discounts from Angie and Speedy) and scheduled work. Paid for work done and deposit on other work. Again, arrived on time. Pleasant and courteous young electrician. Consulted with me when he had questions. Expediter checked in on progress and answered a few questions I had. Electrician finished work and showed me what he did and what went where. Settled accounts and electrician left. Everything works the way we wanted and we like the new and better lighting. The mid-range surge protector that was installed - well we hope it works if we need it and would rather not have the experience. I would use them again for certain size projects - more than replacing switches or bulbs!

They were excellent to work with...communicated well and delivered what was promised.

We solicited quotes from 3 companies for running the wiring, installing the recepticals and adding the appropriate circuit breakers in the panel for an additional 110V and a new 220V circuit in our garage. Also for providing and installing a whole house surge protector. Their pricing was slightly lower than their competitions'. They were quick to respond to our quote request, submit their formal quote, and schedule the work. Their technicians arrived on schedule, did their work quickly and professionally, and cleaned up after themselves.

The company representative evaluated the work site and worked closely with me (the owner), and the carpenter to get the best results at the lowest cost.

I purchased big deal from Angie’s list. The response was excellent from Speedy Electric and install completed.

I purchased a whole house surge protector via Angie's List. We scheduled an appointment between 8 and 10 which was confirmed by email. At 10:30 I called and was told that there was a mix up and that we needed to reschedule and that they would make it up to us. I had to change plans for them to come out for the rescheduled appointment. The Tech did arrive and perform the work at the rescheduled date and time.
