I had another service scheduled that I wish to cancel. This company doesn’t want to respond to a client about service questions and concerns as I have had difficulties getting in contact with them.

They did an excellent job, and I have no complaints with the work. They made an appointment two weeks earlier, and did not show up, and did not call me until the next day, after I waited four hours for them to come. I was not around to reschedule, so I asked them to call me back later. They called me back a week later, and scheduled for one week after that. They should have at least called me if they could not make the appointment, and they could have gotten back to me to reschedule in a more timely manner. Other than this issue, the work they performed was satisfactory.

He said he covered all the outlets and he didn't. My husband noticed that whenever he went up a week later. There was an additional fee $250.00.

I purchased a $99 deal to have an outlet installed and just wanted a motion light but ended up paying much more.

explained everything to the company when ordered a service. The technician did not know what to do and we lost time. At the end I had to pay for extra time. But the service was good and I can recommend it.

The electricians called in advance and arrived on time. Normally this is a simple task that I would do myself but it was quite challenging to run a new line in the wall because of the metal stud construction used. I knew it would actually be a difficult job. The guy's were very persistent and patient and after about an hour they were able to get the job completed. When they were done they brought in a shop vac and cleaned up after themselves. Very professional service, highly recommended.

I USED THE ANGIE'S LIST SPECIAL. CALLED FOR THE APPOINTMENT. THE GIRL SAID SHE'D GET 'RIGHT BACK' TO ME. SHE DIDN'T. I WAITED 4 HRS THEN HAD TO LEAVE. CHECKED LATER FOR A MESSAGE AND THERE WAS NONE. I CALLED AGAIN AND SHE ASKED ME ALL OF THE SAME QUESTIONS AGAIN, AND I REMINDED HER THAT I ALREADY WENT THRU THIS THE DAY BEFORE AND SHE NEVER CALLED ME BACK. SHE APOLOGIZED AND SAID SHE DID BUT DIDN'T LEAVE A MESSAGE. SAID SHE WOULD CHECK SCHEDULE AND 'CALL ME RIGHT BACK'. HOURS LATER SHE CALLED AND SHE SAID THEY HAD COMPUTER PROBLEMS ETC ETC. I CUT HER OFF AND ASKED WHEN THE ELECTRICIAN WAS COMING (AT THIS POINT I CONSIDERED ASKING FOR MY MONEY BACK), WE CHOSE A TIME AND DATE. SHE WAS A VERY NICE GIRL BUT IS PROBABLY LOSING BUSINESS FOR THE COMPANY. THE ELECTRICIAN CAME ON TIME, AND I WAS IMPRESSED TO SEE THAT HE SHOWED UP IN A WHITE SHIRT AND NICE PANTS AND LOOKED NICER THEN ELECTRICIANS I'M USED TO . THE PROBLEM WAS A BUTTON THAT FLIPPED OFF AND WAS A LITTLE HARD TO FIND (IN THE GARAGE, I HAD LOOKED ALL THRU THE HOUSE). HE CHECKED THE OUTLET AND SAID THE PLUG WAS OLD SO HE REPLACED IT,AND THE UNIT WAS OUTSIDE SO HE PUT AN OUTSIDE COVER ON IT. HE WAS VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. I PAID FOR 2 HRS OF WORK, BUT I REALLY ONLY NEEDED HIM ABOUT 30 MINS. I THOUGHT THE COST OF THE PLUG & COVER WAS A LITTLE HIGH. ($35) HE WAS EXCITED ABOUT OTHER THINGS I COULD DO IN THE HOUSE (ADD HANGING LITES, ETC) AND I TOLD HIM WHEN I WAS READY I'D GIVE HIM A CALL. OVERALL A GOOD EXPERIENCE. JUST GIVE THE GIRL ON THE PHONE A LITTLE TRAINING TO MAKE THE COMPANY SEEM MORE PROFESSIONAL.

I had been woken up by a beeping detector in the middle of the night. I called them in the morning and they met me right after I got home from work. The service person was polite, well-groomed and knowledgeable. He quickly identified the problem and offered several alternative solutions. I chose the least expensive and he didn't try to talk me into doing more. He offered a 30 day window to change my mind if I had any other problems. The work cost the same as I had been quoted. I will call them in future for other electrical issues.

They responded quickly when called for an estimate, arrived on time, were very professional and efficient, and did a good job.

Speedy arrived on time and was very professional. We had previously purchased all of the fixtures. However, we had the wrong lights for the spotlights in the library. Speedy told my husband what kind to get and those were installed.

Our experience with them could have been better. We had prepaid for something but had a lot of trouble getting hold of them and getting them to schedule a time to come out. It was an okay experience and the light turned out to be okay because we had trouble getting it to work on and off. They talked us into upgrading and spending more than we had planned to spend.

The end result was fine. However, it took multiple unreturned phone calls before I received a response and was able to schedule an appointment.

Company never labeled the circuit breakers in the main electrical box. I have no idea what goes to what.

Speedy sent 2 electricians to complete job. 2 hour job only took 1 hour to complete. Very satisfied.

Fridge/freezer stopped working; scheduled a Saturday visit, 48 hours after I phoned. Serviceman was prompt and professional, found the problem immediately, fixed it quickly and gave advice on how to prevent it from happening again. What more could you ask for? A great experience.

Making the appointment for service went quite well and installers arrived promptly. They were very pleasant and took pains to maintain neatness while doing the job. Discussed proper placement of TV and secured it in agreed-to-location. Neat, clean and efficient. However, services listed on Angie's List and the eventual price were misleading. Beside the provision of the wall mount all wires were to be hidden. To many of us, that means that the wires to and from the TV would run behind the wall. Well, the wires are hidden but to do so we were told it was necessary to install a new receptacle on the wall as the Electrical Code does not permit TV wires to run behind a wall. To install the receptacle cost an additional $149. It certainly would have been more forthright to state upfront in the listing of services that there would very likely be an additional charge for the receptacle.

I own a chain of retail stores in Florida, Kentucky, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. I have worked with dozens of service companies over the past thirty someodd years. I must say that Speedy Electric is one of the most unprofessional and unorganized conpanies I have ever used. I called Speedy on recomendation of Angies List. I have used Angies List for many years without any problems. This was a major problem. I asked for an appointment and was given a date and time of their choosing, aproximately a week in advance,10am Wendsday morning with a guarantee of arrival. On the Tuesday before the appointment I was called and told that the service tech would not be arriving untl 12 noon. I agreed and told the caller that I would re arranage my scheduel to meet their needs. At 11:50am I was called and told that the tech was delayed and would not be arriviing until until 1pm and I was given "you have my word" as a guarantee, as I had told the caller that I had made special arrangements twice before to accomdate their schedules. At 1:30pm I called, they did not call me, and asked what was happening whereupon I was told, by the same schedueler I had spoken to previously, that she understood that they had made all of the previous commitments but that I did not understand how hard her job was and that I would just have to wait until they got around to me. I decided to look elsewher for help. Do Not Use This company. You will regret it.

It took a long time to schedule an appointment. On the day of the appointment, no one showed up and no one called. When I called, I was told we were not on the schedule. It was rescheduled for the following week for Thursday between 8:00 am and 10:00 am. Sam, the electrician, arrived at 8:00 am. He was very professional, did his work quickly, left no mess and was finished by 9:30 am.

As I mentioned in the last paragraph the electrician was wonderful. I'm sorry I I can't remember his name. The company may or not be great but the company overbooked appointments, so after waiting 3 weeks for service, the company called and stated that they could not come as they were very busy and overbooked so I would have to wait. No apology, nothing. That same person wrote a note stating that I should be happy that they were coming at a later time and I should be tolerate and forgiving, blah, blah , blah. Her letter was lecturing me instead of a polite and sincere apology that they had to break their appointment with me. I can't say enough about the electrician and but sadly can speak volumes about this company's poor logistics and absolute poor manners. So, it is an A for the electrican and a D for the company's scheduler and head of logistics. May be Speedy Electric should forget about offering specials and hire a marketing team to train their phone staff, logistics and scheduling department basic manners.
