Very pleasant and professional. The price seemed a bit high but they tell you the price in advance; there are no surprises and you have a chance to refuse and look elsewhere. Since I was satisfied with their service and knowledge at first visit I had them go ahead and do the service this last time . They did a fine job. No complaints about their work at all.

The electrician, John, was very professional. He was on time (the office called ahead of his arrival and asked if he could come early). The work he did was very good. The office called to set the appointment, assess the scope of the work. They called a day ahead to confirm the appointment, and then called the day of to let us know they were on their way. I purchased 2 hours of electrical work for $99 from Angie's list special. There were not any extra charges everything was as advertised. Very pleased. The price for the work done was great. The estimates for the outdoor landscape light repair seemed high but I have to check around, The estimate for the outdoor outlets to be installed seem a little high but worth it for the quality.

Arrived on time. Friendly, professional, fast. No problems.

The men came in and the first thing they told me was that the $99.00 was for 1 hour for two men and 2 hours for 1 man. They then told me that to just put in one outlet was going to take more than one hour and with materials the total cost would be $250.00. I was already quoted $150.00 from an electrical contractor I am very familiar with and have used on several occasions. When these men told me $250.00 I said forget it and asked them to leave.. I think this a a real scam they are pulling and I'm surprised they are being recommended on Angie's List...The app't was for 8:00am - 10:00am. I woke up at 7:30 to prepare for them and they didn't show up until 10:15. A very unpleasant experience to say the least.

Electricians arrived on time, explained the work they were going to do. Very professional. Took care to minimize mess and cleaned up where necessary. They answered some questions on other things not related to what they were doing and were very willing to explain and were helpful.

Very professional. I do think the cost was high compared to the last electrician who was unavailable, but I will have them back in the future.

I don't remember the price so am just taking a guess. The electrician was on time, very friendly and professional. He did his work efficiently. We would call this company again.

From the beginning the office staff was extremely efficient, calling us to schedule an appointment after we purchased the big deal. Then we had to reschedule the appointment, they worked with us and were extremely courteous. On the appointment date, the electricians showed up on time and were very professional. They labeled the circuit breaker box and also gave us the results of the inspection. We certainly would consider using them again.

First of all I told them I got their name from Angie list and I did not receive any discount off the price. The problem was the price. When I contacted them I specific asked them if their was a service charge for the visit. II was told absolutely Not. You will receive an estimate and if you decide the cost is not fair just so no. Now the technician come and says he has to first determine what the problem is. He tells me It would cost $179. Plus parts to determine the problem. He now tells me he has to run a set of wires from the main box to the outlet; it would take about two hours of work. So I said okay; then he says the total cost would be $425 dollars. I said; no way that's is two expensive to Run wires. Then he says you still owe me $179. For my labor because I came to the house and told you want the problem was. I said to him that I was told their was not service charge on the phone if we don't agree on the price. He said that was correct; however one he looked at the work that needed to be done; the cost would be $179 whether I do the work or not, It I do the work it cost $179 plus. What a rip off. I did the work because I had family coming over and had no choice. What a rip off and I have lost all respect for Angie's list for promoting this guy. 2 hours of labor for $99 dollars is b*******. No way; that is the same 2 hours he spent with me and charged me over $400 dollars. What parts do you use when you run wire? Vito Fortuna

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out very well. They did a great job. We upgraded to a little bit better one but we were very satisfied. We paid $260.95 additional. We're very pleased with it.

Well done. neat and fast. Recommended a less expensive way to do the task.

First guy that showed up was younger. He suggested the addition of a few GFCI outlets in the kitchen, since the code has been changed since the house was built. I declined. He "labeled" the panel by scribbling over the writing that was already there. To their credit, when I mentioned this to the company, they rescheduled immediately with a more experience electrician, who came out promptly, brought the original guy with him and correctly labeled the panel with an actual labeling machine.

The electrician, Jesse, arrived promptly and worked efficiently. The work was completed in a very reasonable time. He apologized that I would have to wait for the county inspector before my power was restored.

They made an appointment with us and then cancelled it, and made another appointment with us because they were running late. They did finally come and the work they did was excellent. They took longer than two hours so they charged more time. Because of the problem with scheduling, I give them B, but I have no complaints with the work. When they showed up, they were on time.

The ceiling lights were fine, but the counter lights were not put in in a straight line over the counter. They fixed this but left a hole in the ceiling were one of the lights had to be moved. They said they would patch the hole, but never responded to my calls to fix it.

The guy that came was very good and very comfortable. He got a fair amount of work done in the time allotted. The only negative thing I can say is that anything that you purchase from him is at a vastly inflated price. I also asked him about getting a whole home surge protector fitted and he quoted me at a price of $350 and on Angie's List there's a deal price for about $150. So it says 2 things: how good a deal it is on Angie's List but on the other side if you're not going to do it off Angie's List you're not going to get that good of a deal. In the end I paid about an extra $40 for an outside fixture. Overall I would have to say it was positive, they guy knew what he was doing and he was good.

Communication was excellent. Called 2 days before the scheduled work and received a text saying that he was on his way and would be there in 30 minutes the day of the installation. When he arrived we discussed the placement of the pendants and he made sure that they were centered. Installation was flawless, he created the box opening, installed new wiring and dimmer. He completed the install by mounting the new fixtures making sure they worked as expected. Very Nice. He then suggested adding a surge suppressor to the main box to protect the new appliances and electronics. I agreed and he installed the protection. He kept me updated the entire time he was installing the pendants and made sure that the result was exactly what I wanted. Very dependable and quality work.

excellent work, in spite of adding a few more things to the original Deal. Jesse, the technician, was very accommodating, very professional, and very patient to explain everything. A couple of glitches to get things scheduled, but very responsive to keep me in the loop. I understand why my appointment had to be rescheduled a couple of times. Customers like me that kept wanting more things done. (smile)

I had a terrible time scheduling an appointment. He missed two appointments altogether and then showed up on the wrong day and time.

Went fine, pretty straightforward.

I am very disappointed with the service provided, or should I say not provided by Speedy Electric. I had called mid June and spoke with who I would guess was the person who does the scheduling and made an appointment for Monday, July 1 between the hours of 9-12. (since I do not have my calendar available to check the actual day and time I am only approximating.) I called our security gate for our development and proceeded to wait, and wait, and wait. Finally, about an hour after the time frame I called and evidently I was not on their schedule. They said they had changed computer programs or something to that effect and all the information regarding my appointment was lost. I made that appointment specifically for that date as my husband and I were in Naples for the week for vacation and was hoping by having them come Monday, I could then schedule the actual installation of the under counter lighting for later in the week while we were still in town. I gave up a day of vacation time to sit and wait for someone who never came. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed and will Not use this company again nor will I ever recommend them to friends and relatives in the area. I guess I am out the $99 for the Big Deal I purchased.

Installation was not bad until we discovered two major problems after the techs left. First, the major TV was being hung in a wall unit that was obviously bordered on all sides by the unit. The servicemen hung the TV about 1" too high for us to use the top shelf of the unit. However the worst part was discovering they guys had done something to the adjacent light and fan switches. We found out there was no power to these which were absolutely necessary for comfort on the beach were the work was done, Called Friday night as soon as we found out about the mess up. Left a message with the owner's VM. Her promise is a call back in 30 minutes. WHAT A JOKE. Never heard from her or company all weekend, Called on Monday and spoke with a new employee who always promised to call back. Spoke with her 2-3 ties and she said the owner was going to call me but was flying to Boston. would call between flights or when she landed in Boston. Never heard from her. Called on Tuesday and played the game of "I need to talk to ____ and will call you back". Tole then i wanted this done by weekend. that would mean a whole week before they fixed it but I would be able to enjoy part of the 4th holiday weekend at the beach. After 3-4 more calls to them when I never heard a word, I left a message if they did not contact me today by a certain time, I wass hiring another electrician and send them the bill. The response was silence. IMO, this is a one horse operation and a bad one at that. Go elsewhere and be happy.

My experience with Speedy Electric Inc. was perfectly fine. They were good guys and they did the work quickly. It worked out fine.

They arrived as scheduled but other than that it felt pretty much like a bait and switch scenario after that. The surge protector I purchased, which is what was advertised, has served as no purpose or benefit to the best of my knowledge. Every time there is a storm breakers get tripped and I have to reset everything manually.
