I bought the big deal and were very pleased with their responsiveness. Vanessa kept me constantly informed and they showed up when expected. I would definitely use them again.

It took them less than an hour, but it was the only electrical job we needed done at that point in our kitchen renovation.

He was fast and very good. We have used him before, to do some work on the outside and it was excellent.

Replaced chandelier . Did a great job. Very professional.

I WAS TALKED INTO PURCHASING AN UPGRADE

Speedy was running late the morning of November 25th so although our appointment was scheduled to occur between 10 - 12, the electricians did not show until after lunch (12:30). We had 5 recessed lights in our ceiling in the kitchen area all on the same wall switch. We wanted to keep 2 of these lights as is while replacing 1 of the 5 fixtures with a ceiling fan and the other 2 fixtures with pendants lights. We asked that the pendant lights and ceiling fan have their own switch. Speedy gave us a quote for the additional work since it would take longer than the 2 hour deal I had already paid for and required going up into the attic. The additional charges came to around $500. I don't know if that was a good or bad deal, but Speedy completed the work by 4.30 and we are quite satisfied. There were 2 electricians who were very competent. John was considerate enough to wash his hands before touching our white ceiling. They cleaned up the area nicely before departing. We will be using Speedy again.

Showed on time, very professional and helpful. I WOULD RECOMMEND IN THE FUTURE.

Installed 2 ceiling fans and checked three outlets that were not working and fixed them. Very professional, cleaned up after themselves, and explained everything they did.

The first visit was perfect. We purchased the two hour Angie's List $111.00 special. Everything was done so well that we decided to use them again. This time they arrived and told us that it was going to cost $179.00 for the first hour, even though this was a simple installation. I was so shocked at the high price that I didn't know what to do. I had them install the switch, and paid them the amount they demanded. The next day I called the office and spoke to their CEO. She told me this is what they always do for the initial hour, and it was a really good deal. I disagreed, but she would not take my displeasure into consideration. This is really too bad because both of the guys that came out, did a good job. However, I cannot recommend them to anyone in the future. They just charge too much!

Had an initial disagreement with price, but they were very professional about the whole issue. They called to straighten things out and make a satisfied customer, who in turn will refer them as often as possible! The guys were able to put the light up very easily and in no time at all were done with a very good job! Definitely will use them again!

My original review for this company was a good one, however after getting all my holiday lights put up and being so pleased that we had additional exterior outlets to use. Previously we were constantly tripping the breaker and having partial holiday lights or none at all if we were gone an unable to reset the breaker. Speedy installed everything we requested, they were very pleasant and cleaned up after the work was done. Our problem was when we had all our decorations up and turned them on they stayed on for all of 20 minutes before tripping the breaker. After 2 days of this we contacted Speedy and told them the problem, at which time we were told to cover all the plugs that maybe the sprinkler/rain caused them to trip. I spent half a day putting plastic baggies on all plugs (this was no small feat). This did not solve the problem. This is when their customer service started on the downside. For the next 7-9 days I tried to get someone to come and take care of the breaker constantly tripping. The Office Supervisor never returned my calls and when I called her directly it was always "Our Computers are down, I'll call you back when they're back up". I can buy that excuse once but three times, also there was never a return call or anyone coming out to fix the problem. By the second week of Dec. I was pretty much fed up and told Vanessa to tell her supervisor that my next call will be to the owner. What a coincidence when I received a call that day an she was going to have someone come by and figure out what was wrong. Their tech came out that evening and his conclusion was there were to many lights on one breaker causing it to trip. the technician stated that I told him I didn't put a lot of Christmas decorations out. Why this is so frustrating is I had a storage bldg. build especially to hold all of my decorations and would have never made that comment. This is the same tech that came out originally and we discussed at length what I wanted to accomplish and I received a quote from him and paid to have the work done. To fix the problem, that should have never happened, he re-ran extention cords so the breaker did not trip and left me with an exterior outlet that I could not use (which I paid for them to install) and offered to send me a quote to run one of the electrical boxes off its' own breaker so there would be no tripping breakers in the future. Basically, we paid Speedy to install exterior electrical boxes for Christmas lighting without tripping breakers. What we got was electrical boxes, one of which I can not use because it will trip the beaker, a $1200.00 bill, and an offer to charge me additional monies to re-vise the wiring on an elect. box that should have corrected my problem and the reason for hiring them from the beginning. I believe Speedy should have offered to fix the problem instead of wanting me to pay even more for an error which is obviously theirs. I hired Speedy because of the reviews on Angies List. I am very disappointed and frustrated with my personal experience with this company and would not recommend them. 04/21/2014 UP-LIGHTING ON PALMS.......I HAVE CALLED AND LEFT MESSAGES FOR THESE PEOPLE TO CALL ME REGARDING THE UPLIGHTING THEY INSTALLED IN MY FRONT YARD. I AM REPLACING BULBS IN THESE EVERY WEEK OR TWO AND I WANT THEM FIXED OR REPLACED. CURRENTLY NOT IN TOWN BUT UPON MY RETURN IN 4 WEEKS I WILL BE CALLING FOR THE LAST TIME FOR THEM TO REPLACE OR REPAIR THE PROBLEM. THEY HAVE PUSHED ONE TO MANY OF MY BUTTONS. I WILL BE FILING A SMALL CLAIMS IN COURT IF THE ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED WITHIN 48 HRS OF MY LAST PHONE CALL THE END OF APRIL. I WILL PURSUE REFUNDS FOR THIS ENTIRE JOB DONE BY THEM. SPEEDY ELECTRIC IS ONE OF THE WORST COMPANY'S I HAVE EVER DEALTH WITH. THEIR OFFICE MGR. NEEDS FURTHER TRAINING ON MANAGING AND PEOPLE SKILLS. I AM RETIRED AND HAVE THE TIME TO NOT GET RIPPED OFF.

He was fast and efficient. They were excellent. They called, followed up and the electrician was on-time.

I purchased the deal of the day for 2 hours of electrical work (or 1 hour for 2 people). They were very professional in setting up the appointment. On the day of service, they almost showed up within the window, and called to say they were on the way. They were very polite, professional, and worked quickly. We used our time up (the two hours pre-purchased) installing the pendants then we paid $69 per ceiling fan. So it ended up costing a bit more than we expected, but in the end we were happy we picked them. We will use them again.

Speedy Electric is an excellent company. We've used them twice. Both times -- friendly, professional, on time - they call the day before to confirm. It's been a very good experience dealing with them for our home's electrical needs.

Excellent experience. Jesse and John did a great job on all the projects, answered lots of questions, and offered some good ideas. They left no mess and disposed of all packaging materials, old switches, etc. Fans, controls, etc. all work well. I will definitely call them again. (This is actually my second experience with Speedy Electric--I hired them last year for different projects--and I was equally pleased that time.) Vanessa, who made the arrangements for the service call, is always a pleasure to deal with on the phone.

Breakdown in communication on service provider's part and/or no show.

Excellent communication-we bought a special $59 package through Angie's List. We were called promptly to schedule the service. We received reminders through telephone and email about the scheduled installation. They arrived on time, and two very nice young men came in with protective booties and professionally removed the old fan, and installed the new one. They worked quickly,but with care. Loved our purchase, and the smooth process to complete it. Highly recommended!

They were very polite and thorough. I would highly recommend them. The whole experiences was great form the office to the technicians, everything was great.

It was great. Everything was fine. I was very pleased. Everything was great. Two guys came. They were done within an hour and twenty minutes. They just took care of me. I would use them again in the future.

On time, friendly, did a good job. Price is 25% higher than it should be for what was 75 minutes of simple work ($200), but I would almost always pay a 25% "premium" if it means everything goes exactly as it should vs. trying to get someone out to do this on-time and professionally for 50 bucks less would be a gamble. I am satisfied and would probably use them again.

1. Level of protector I wanted was available and installed. Please note: I got the best available for my needs. 2. 2 hours of service was provided and it was explained that parts would be extra. a. Two outlets installed in master bath. b. outlet placed in cabinet of office - eliminating the wires etc. on the desk. c. Clean up of all debris. 3. I asked about some light bulbs which are not available locally. Found out where, and will have them delivered to me.

They were very nice and courteous. I did not get the feel they wanted to work with me to get this job done.
