All went very well. The installer did his best to provide interruption in the home ofice. He was prompt, clean and very meticulous with his work and residue. We plan to request this installer for future work in our home..

He was fantastic and did work on the same level of quality he would do in his own home.

The electrician, Jason, was first rate. He was knowledgeable and courteous. Did all of the work in a relatively short period with care for our surrounding furniture and objects.. We are very satisfied with his work; the fans work fine , and they are very stable - a concern since one in the living room was more than 12 ft up on a sloped ceiling. great job!

I was impressed because Jesse told me ahead of time what the charge for the visit would be. He was running late but I received a call from the secretary telling me when he would arrive. He was here for 30 minutes. He did not try to talk me into buying anything else, like surge protection. Jesse was pleasant and professional. If I have any more electrical problems in my house, I definitely would call him.

They were very good, the worker was very nice and pleasant to have around and do the work. I would choose them again to use in the future.

Tech was on time and performed the install without issue. Explained the three tiers of protection.

They seemed very nice and responsive but the bill ended up being 50% higher than expected. Price list sent but I didn't consider fan from Lowes exotic (which cost me $15 more for each) There was a truck fee of $69 I wasn't told about but would have considered as a minimum fee. Would not use again. In addition, insurance set up in the winter mode even though installed on Lanai i South Florida. I was told I would get a call back when I complained and they never called back. Received email of price list again.

We purchased a coupon from Angies list for a surge protector. Jason arrived on time and gave us options to upgrade to a better surge system for our home. We decided to do the upgrade. Jason installed the surge protector in our panel box.

Jessie came and wrote down what I wanted done and gave me a price for the work. Within an hour he and Jason showed up. Jessie told Jason what needed to be done. Jason did the work and he did a wonderful job. He found an electrical hookup in the garage was done improperly and he made it safe until I could get him to come back to fix that and install a lamppost and lamp as well as a light on the garage and two ceiling fans. I would highly recommend Speedy Electric.

When the technician had the main breaker panel open for the installation of the surge protection he noticed a burnt wire going into the main breaker. This was definitely a possible fire hazard and most probably has been there from the time the house was built, 11 years ago. He said he can not leave it like that and has to repair it. The culprit was a loose connection (lug) at the main breaker. So the technician disconnected the main electricity to the house, cut about 5 inches from the burnt wire (only the first 2 inches or so from the insulation was burnt) and reconnected the wire . The only thing that had to be replaced was one old lug because it could not be tightened anymore - a $5-$10 piece. So I was definitely glad that this issue was found and could be corrected so quickly. The only thing I wasn't so happy about was the height of the additional charge. I had to pay an additional $180 for the repair of the burnt wire. I think that is too expensive. The typical $70-80 for a small repair would have been fairer. After all, there was no extra trip, the main breaker was already open and no long troubleshooting had to be done. I would say the repair was done in 5-10min. Apart of that the service was done in a very professional manner.

It went fine. They were very good. The guy was very courteous. I thought that the office was a little disorganized. They cancelled on me the first time, rescheduled and called back saying they couldn't keep that schedule. In fact, they made a mistake and called the wrong person. My schedule was fine the second time.

They emailed me after purchase telling me they would contact me on Monday. I waited all day Monday with no call. I called back and left a voicemail to cancel. They then called back this morning to come out and do service. They communicated that they would contact me on Monday. If they cannot follow up with a phone call I did not want them to do the work.I have requested a refund. After further contact with Speedy Electric and their appology in such a gracious way leads me to believe their employee did not handle this the way he should have. I have since been contacted by Speedy Electric and have rescheduled to have the work completed and will follow up with another review once work is complete. Follow up review: After the company called and reschedule the service went well! They showed up right on time and the process was wonderful! The service tech was also very knowledgeable in his field. I WOULD use this company again in the future if need be.

I got them from Angie's List. They were on time and did exactly what they said they would. They charged the price that they said it would be.

They're really good. They're really just top-notch. They're very professional, very conscientious about messing up anything and picking up their mess. They're extremely timely. If they say they're going to be there, they're there. If they're going to be five minutes late, they call. I mean, they're very. very professional. Their work couldn't be better. If I hire them for an hour, he says, "Mam you've got more work time. Give me something else to do." He went and re-hung a fan that was holding on by a staple. They're just wonderful. Once they're done they say, "You have any problem you call us back and we'll come." They're just very good. The cost of service depends on what you have done. They seem reasonable for what they do. It's always done correctly. They're accurate. They concentrate on their work and they don't fool around. I can only say good things about them. The quality of service is excellent. They are really good. I tell everybody about them. I told the next door neighbor and so now he calls them too.

Paid extra for fan rheostat.

They did good work. I give them an A. They had reasonable prices.

They were very professional, did a great job and kept our property clean. They were friendly and answered all questions. What impressed me most was that they missed completing four of our can light replacements and before I could detect it they called me back (next day) apologized and returned in short order to complete the work. They apparently were inventorying materials and detected the problem. I would have found the issue eventually, but they were quite proactive and professional in detecting their own error and correcting it immediately. To me this speaks volumes on the quality of their service. We were quite satisfied with the end result of their work.

The deal was originally worth $179 and it was my fault that I didn't read the details so I ended up paying extra because it wasn't a replacement fan. All the gentleman did was install it to the ceiling and wire it to the light switch; it wasn't really extra work yet they still charged me more money. The technician was very careful and nice. He was apologetic because they first said that there'd be no extra fees but then somebody called to say that there'd be an extra charge. I didn't think it was really fair that I had to be charged more than the price of the deal.

It took some time, but he found it

They did a great job. They installed a surge protector and the bath fan. They then gave me an estimate for outdoor lighting and that was really high. We upgraded the surge protector to a whole house surge protector. They had to come back for that upgrade.

I PURCHASED THE 'BIG DEAL' ON MARCH 6 FROM THIS COMPANY FOR A BATH FAN INSTALLATION FOR $179. AS REQUESTED, I GAVE SEVERAL SUITABLE DATES FOR THEM TO DO THE INSTALL. THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO CONTACT ME WITHIN 2 DAYS TO SET AN APPOINTMENT. THEY DIDN'T. I CONTACTED ANGIES LIST TO ADVISE THIS. THE COMPANY THEN CONTACTED ME BY EMAIL ON 3/12 TO SAY THEY WOULD BE IN TOUCH WITHIN 2 DAYS TO SET AN APPT. THEY DIDN'T GET IN TOUCH. I THEN CALLED THEM ON 3/17. 'BOBBI JO' SAID SHE WAS ABOUT TO SCHEDULE APPTS AND 'WOULD CALL ME BACK IN 2 MINUTES'. SHE DIDN'T. I CALLED THEM AGAIN, COMPLAINED, WAS TOLD THAT 'SHE WAS TRAINING A NEW CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON' (REALLY?? I THINK SHE NEEDS TO IMPROVE HER OWN CUSTOMER SERVICE FIRST) EVENTUALLY A TWO HOUR TIME WINDOW WAS SET FOR 3/21 TO INSTALL THE FAN. NO-ONE TURNED UP. I CALLED THEM AND BOBBI JO SAID IT WAS HER FAULT, HER MIX-UP AND THE APPT WAS RE-SET FOR TODAY 3/24 BETWEEN 8.00 AND 10.00AM. IT IS NOW 11.30AM ON 3/24 AND AGAIN, NO-ONE HAS TURNED UP. AND NO CALL FROM THEM. I AM REQUESTING A FULL REFUND FROM ANGIE'S LIST AND MY ADVICE IS - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL.

came on time and kept me up-to-date via email when electrician would arrive -- a one hour window. I had talked with the scheduler so Speedy knew I needed a fan with light. Though they advertised $179 for Nutone fan only, electrician arrived with a Hampton Bay fan and light. I expected to pay a bit more for the fan and light than the fan alone. I was able to negotiate a lower price than initially given and accepted that price for the installation. The Hampton Bay fan/light is comparable to Nutone fan and light in cost and hight quality. I am happy with the installation and work by the electrician who installed the fan. Through intenet search the price I paid is probably 25-35 dollars more than I expected. Still I rate this electrician and Speedy an overall A.

Installation was very smooth--done by two fellows. They were friendly and very professional---wore padded covers on their feet; and located a small screw for me that went with the hand remote that had inadvertantly gone out to the truck. They were friendly--polite--and made the experience pleasant. With two of them working---the fan was installed quickly. Actually---> if you wrote the script for these two guys---I do not think it would be better (really)!!

I have tried to contact the company several times and they never responded. They did one time respond to an email of mine only trying to up sell me from my original deal purchase. I have since requested to have this deal refunded.

It was fine but it was more expensive than I thought it would be. They were good but they were just too expensive.
