Went very well. Electrician arrived on tome, diagnosed the problem and got the lighting working.

Wayne came out and installed a whole house surge protector. He was very polite and explained the process to me.

Both Jesse and Mike were wonderful to work with. From the estimate thru the work, it was very smooth. Everything was explained in detail, and the work was performed with great skill and workmanship. I highly recommend Speedy Electric, great company and great people!!

Work started in May/June of 2015. Initial job was around 2K which I negotiated a cash price for. That was for installing recessed lights in the kitchen ceiling which was being remodeled due to water damage. That initial job went good so I had them do some additional work in the master bathroom which I negotiated a cash price was well. Then had them install some under the cabinet lighting in the kitchen. Soon after they left some of the lights fell off the cabinet. Called them up and came back to fix it. So I then asked them to install a ceiling light in the hallway shower and a light fixture. Sent up an appointment with Bobby Joe about ten days prior but she called to cancel the day before. Nothing but excuses from Bobby Joe such as, " We've been slammed, we are training new staff, I got caught in a rain storm, the dog ate my homework". You get the picture. So she tells me that the install on the light fixture will be no charge due to cancelling the appointment. On the new appointment date the guy shows up and does the work and my elderly father writes him a check since I was out of town.. The cost for one recessed light was $329.00. Seemed kind of high since the light fixture was supposed to be on the house. I called the owner, Jesse, on his cell phone and questioned the price on the job. He told me that it seemed high to him and he would get back to me. Well after a couple of weeks of calling and texting him I get no response. I finally get a hold of Bobby Joe and she tells me that she will get with Jesse on it and call me back. Another couple of weeks go by with me calling and leaving messages with no response. I finally get Bobby Joe on the phone and she tells me that I was getting good prices on the other work and says Jesse can't believe I'm questioning it. So my fault for not getting an upfront price on that job. So much for Speedy Electric's written upfront estimate. Bobby Joe agreed to reduce my bill a bit but at that point I really didn't have much faith in receiving a refund from them so I declined the refund. The city inspector failed Speedy Electric on the under cabinet lights and that took me weeks to get them out there to fix it. By the way I had to call Jesse several times to just set up an appointment with the inspector which was in September. Finally sent a guy to fix the problem but it was not how the inspector wanted it. Getting Jesse to set up an appointment for a re-inspection was another exercise in futility. Finally sets up an appointment but my father had to go to a doctor and had to cancel. I spoke with Amy, who was new at the time and very nice, to set up another appointment. Well this went on for several weeks me calling Amy and her telling me that she would have Jesse set it up. I also called Jesse and asked him to send me the phone number of the inspectors office and I would set up the re-inspection up myself. Nothing from him so I finally gave up. To this day the job has not been re-inspected. Speedy Electric has a failed inspection on the books but they could care less. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this outfit. Read the other negative reviews and they are all things that I have dealt with as well. They want high paying jobs so if you have an appointment for two hours of electrical work for $150.00 and another job comes in for 1k guess what, they call you to cancel and reschedule. They also don't like coming back to fix things they messed up on because they aren't making any money on that. You will also be expected to call the city inspector and set up any permit inspections on the work they perform. If you are dead set on using Speedy Electric make sure you get your quote in writing. Do not pay them in full until they call the inspector to have their work inspected and passed inspection. Also if you negotiate a cash price they think they are doing you a favor.

Unbelievable. Best service ever experienced starting with the office personnel on phone and continuing with Mike the technician. Came on time, called me when on the way, did incredible work and displayed unbelievable knowledge. Ran into some challanges due to the items I had and he came up with solutions even leaviing to get some special materials to accomodate problems caused by others. The work he performed was extensive but the price was very fair. This is the second time they did work for me. I am so lucky to have an electrical service company that I can trust. Thank you Mike, Amy, Jesse.

Was contacted by Speedy Electric soon after purchasing the Deal through Angie's List $149 for $200 worth of electrical work. Gave them the scope of work over phone. Secretary was very professional on phone. Scheduled work for Friday. They called Thursday and advised would have to cancel for Friday. I called them Monday and rescheduled for Tuesday. Great. Tech came out at 8:23 and I gave him a look at what would need to be completed. Had all areas cleared for him to complete work and ladder set up prior to him arriving. At 8:35 he went to truck to prepare estimate. He came back in at 9:15 with estimate. His bid to complete the work was way to high in my opinion. He was professional throughout, dressed nice, and called the office to ask how I was to get a refund from Angie's List. Unfortunately, I think he over estimated the time it would take him to complete the work and thus his bid was overpriced for the work to be completed. No worries, professional company, but overpriced.

Great. Installer arrive on time. Mike explain what he was going to do and that he would mark the location of the four lights for our approval before installing. He explain all options regarding the lights and the current ceiling fan. He had to call for assistance, and the additional installer arrived quickly. Mike accidentally broke a glass table top while working and quickly notified his office. The office responded and indicated that they would replace the glass top as soon as possible. Speedy Electric main office keep us alerted to all arrivals and changes. The finished job was excellent and we are well pleased.

Came out and swapped out the drain and fixed the dishwasher when the previous company said we would have to replace the entire unit.

The technicians were very competent and knowledgeable. However: the cost of having these 4 lights installed was incredibly high. It took about 2 hours for the 2 men. We were charged $370 for their work = we paid Speedy Electric $92.50/hour per man for their work which, in my opinion, was very expensive. Of course, Speedy also uses a "standardized" cost formula vs. charging according to how much time it really takes! I will NOT be calling Speedy for any additional electrical work that we may need in the future.

It was fair. I wouldn't recommend them. I disliked their scheduling. I wasn't very satisfied. They did the job.

Good company! Second time I used them. They helped my air conditioner hang in there for almost two years. But then when I needed to finally get one, I got several estimates and this company not only gave the best price, but did the work quicker (and that was July in Florida!). I'm happy!

I contacted Speedy Electric for a second estimate for multiple things we wanted done in our home. My husband and I found their prices so much more reasonable than the first estimate received that we decided to do all of the items on our list. Jessie, the owner came to do the estimate himself. He was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable. Amy, the customer service rep, was professional, pleasant, prompt with communication and answered the questions that I had. Todd and Wayne, our electricians, were prompt, attentive, trustworthy, efficient, and worked well as a team. We could not be happier with the work they did in our home. They also left our home looking very reasonably clean despite the dusty work they had performed. They took great care in covering furniture, etc that was in their workspaces and vacuuming up afterwards. Our new lights make each room look like a completely different room! We are so happy with the job that Speedy Electric did in our home that we are already thinking about the next jobs we will be calling them about!!

They were not good. They didn't do that good of a work. They had to come back a few times to fix things that weren't done correctly. They had bad communication. It was a poor service overall. The price was fair.

The service worked out okay. They did charge us an additional $60 fee on top of the $99 Big Deal because they did some repair work for us. Their price was average. Their punctuality was good. I have a lot of ambivalent feelings about them. I do not think that the person they sent out was as knowledgeable as I would have expected.

They had to come back to change a couple of things they didn't do right the first time. Price was fair. They were very punctual. The technicians were very, very professional. They were very on time. They scheduled my appointment three times. They came and fixed what they should fix. They did right the first time.

I purchased a special for hours of work. I supplied the materials and with two electricians, they exceeded the amount of time it should take to do such a simple job as outlet replacement and undercounter replacement. What was originally around $159 for the online coupon ended up cost more money. This was an insult to injury as the appointment had to be rescheduled after taking time off work. To the company's credit, they called the day of to notify of the rescheduling but on the day they were scheduled they were yet again delayed. Would never use Speedy. Not so speedy.

Everything was great. Mike and Dominic were outstanding. Being in a 3rd floor condo they ran into some problems which they were able to resolve, such as limited space (1/2 inch) in walls next to other unit, crossing 120 - 140 ft of attic space. I would definitely use this company again

Took the technician's advice, phoned LCEC, who arrived within the hour and repaired as recommended by the technician. Full service was immediately restored.

Went well overall. i Took time to work out all the little details. Amy customer service was good to work with. I may have been a bit of a pest but I want to be sure of all prices and possible hidden costs which may be involved in a project. and I want to make sure exactly what is being done and what is expected of me..I am not an electrician but a simple homeowner who does not know all the nitty gritties of electrical wiring etc. so I asked a zillion questions and took photos of my set up and e mailed them to show them my situation and all the details like switches etc. this was well received by them. I do not regret doing any of the investigative work I did because I think we need to make informed decisions. Would recommend any potential customers - simple homeowners like myself -to do the same with any contractor these days. Pleased with working with them..they were nice and patient with me and their charges were reasonable.

On time and did job in neat, timely manner. The house was built in 1987 and some of the outlets needed rework. This is my second time using them and will be my go to for electrical.

Work was conducted over a couple of days - all electricians were diligent and they stood behind their work.

Used A.L. for the Ceiling Fan install special. Hesitated doing the review but A.L. persists with requesting the review. Explained it was an existing fan. Their office did not explain there was a charge for taking down the fan so I removed the blades before the service tech's got there. If I was being charged I would not have removed the blades. Service Techs informed me that because there was no box they could not install the fan at the exterior aluminum screen room location. After explaining to meet code, I do understand that, although this fan and the other fan have operated fine for years I agreed to cutting the ceiling and installing the junction box. I heard them drilling but when all was said and done they took the easy way out and installed a flush ceiling box. This of course lowered the ceiling fan more. Could live with that since it was a screen room but they did not inform me when they changed their method of installation. They really could have been more up front.
