Great - job was completed in about an hour

After a light change it was great. Stood behind their work and came a second time at no charge. Very knowledgeable and polite.

bought whole house inspection, and 2 hours labor. after inspection done (1.5 hours later), two problems to be addressed that I knew of prior. but 2 hours labor was already used, partly for inspection, and added to calculation for extra work to be done

I didn't hesitate to call Speedy to solve this issue as I had used them in the past with good results. This situation is no exception. Mike, the technician, was prompt, professional and easily diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He also offered excellent advise on how to avoid the problem in the future.

Rudy came to my home, was very personable, did an excellent job, especially on my light fixture which had to be put together. Very happy with the work.

How in the world can this company have any positive reviews? The way they have treated me is beyond horrible. I hired them to come to my home and find out what was tripping the breaker that powers my office. The technician (Rudy) said he did not know why and that I need to figure it out myself. He then told me a couple of my outside outlets were not weatherproof and they should be replaced with ones that are. I agreed to have him replace them with weatherproof outlets. Those outlets stopped working the next day. It's now a week later and they refuse to come out and fix the issue. They scheduled an appointment but when I called to verify it they said there was no appointment. I was told they would call back by end of day. They didn't, so I called them back and they hung up on me. I believe they have no intention of fixing the electrical issue they caused at my home. Stay far away from this horrible company!

Great. This is the best service company of any in SW Florida. Office personnel, technicians, they keep in touch with you, come when they say they will, highly skilled and educated, personal and friendly. You should never consider anyone else.

This is the worse experience I have ever had with a tradesman! Jesse Alexander is the electrician of Speedy Electric, Barbara is his receptionist I had to have approval from our HOA to have this work done and this was given on condition that the outside cable would be concealed and would not show on the exterior of the building. Jesse agreed and guaranteed this in writing I signed a Visa authorization for half the amount, $678. in advance - the balance to be paid upon "satisfaction", which was guaranteed in the contract. When the work was finished, I was appalled with the result as the cable was in full view (this is a very nice condo development and HOA are very particular, as they should be). I told Jesse this and asked to have it re-done - I also emailed Barbara and said I would not authorize final payment until the job was completed to my satisfaction as agreed. She ignored this and put the payment through anyway. I had to initiate a dispute with Visa to have this refunded to me, which took a great deal of time and effort! Barbara assured me that she would speak to Jesse and have something done and promised to call me back on several occasions ( after I had written many emails and called many times). She never did get back to me and from then on it was always voicemail when I called. After two weeks of this treatment, I eventually had to go in person to their "business" address, twelve miles away. Their is no actual business there - Speedy has rented an office in an office complex where the concierge had to call the receptionist (not barbara) to come and meet with me. So it was really a waste of time and nothing changed. My husband then called, using different phones - both calls were answered, but the first time, when he gave his name, he was left on the line for 15 minutes before having to hang up. The other time Barbara just hung up on him when she realized who it was- after that, voice mail! We then asked our HOA management company manager for help. He is well known in the community and has lots of clout. Eventually he was able to arrange a meeting with Jesse, my husband and myself. Jesse failed to show for this meeting, where the three of us waited in the hot Naples sun for an hour waiting for him to appear. The manager persisted and arranged another meeting - this time Jesse did appear and it was agreed that the work had to be re-done. This was scheduled for the Friday of a following week. The Thursday evening before the appointment, I received an email saying they would not be coming and that it would now be another week and a half before they would come. Before the manager intervened, I had to consult with an lawyer who advised taking Jesse to Small Claims Court. I had informed Jessie of this and now had to inform him again that this time would be his last chance before I initiated a claim against him. He did show this time and the work was finally completed. Can anyone imagine the stress of not being able to contact someone like this who has a total disregard for decency and respect for others time. This took six weeks of aggravation, legal expense and total frustration and was without doubt the absolute worst experience I have ever encountered with any tradesman and his staff.

Absolutely smooth. The service call was responded to by Mike who was clear and concise regarding what needed to be done. Work was done in a timely manner and my incessant questions were calmly and politely answered. An invoice was agreed upon prior to the work - no add ons or surprise charges after the fact - very professional!

We had two folks from Speedy Electric come to the house, view the job and listen to our requirements then work up a quotation. I had purchased the basic installation package through Angie's List but knew that ours would require significantly more work. They promptly developed the quote, which I felt was reasonable given the scope of the work and approved. They moved furniture, put down drop cloths and covered other furniture and began the work. From actual start to finish they were completed, including a thorough cleanup, in about 3 hours. I have other work that I will call on them again to do.

Great! Fantastic! Called and they set a next-day appointment for 9 a.m. The electrician arrived at exactly 9 a.m. Positive, friendly, even slipped on shoe booties to protect our carpet. Very positive. Clearly came to a great price for the service. Answered every question, even showing me how the switches work and are wired. Great guy who shared excellent work and terrific customer service. I would highly recommended Speedy Electric to anyone.
