The electrician arrived promptly and quickly determined that the GFI was fine and that the pump needed to be replaced. He offered to install a replacement pump for $900. The same pump is available at home supply stores for $150. I asked why the big price difference. The answer was that they included a warranty on their work. Okay, but I could buy 6 pumps for their price! The installation is not that difficult. I just paid him $70 for the service call and thanked him for his time.

They provided world class service, no hidden fees.

The technician arrived on time and was very professional. He spent some time to figure out what the problem was. Unfortunately it was not an easy fix and required the need for a new dedicated breaker for the microwave. The technician wrote up a proposal and later emailed me the estimate to complete the work.

We recently moved to Fort Myers, Florida, and bought a ten-year old home. Soon after we moved in, we began having electrical problems involving the pool and spa, the sprinkler system controls. and the way the GFCI outlets were wired. The problems were intermittent and mysterious (to us anyway). Finally, we lost power to both systems, and no amount of resetting GFCIs or circuit breakers worked. Having been an Angie's List member for many years in the midwest, the first thing I did was go to Angie's List and look up electricians in our area. Speedy Electric came up as a top-rated provider, so I called them. The scheduler who answered the phone, Laura, was so responsive and helpful. She arranged for electrician Mike to come out early the next day. When Mike got here promptly the next morning, he quickly diagnosed the problems, explained the problems clearly to us, and proposed a sensible solution that would fix the problems by involving the addition of dedicated circuits and replacement of a defective GFCI outlet and prevent one system taking down another (we are electrically challenged, so I may not be describing this in correct electrical terms). All problems were solved quickly, new circuits added, defective GFCI replaced, and all for a reasonable price (including an Angie's List discount!). There is a reason Speedy Electric is an award winning top-rated Angie's List provider. Thank you Mike and Laura!!

All fans were installed, and were working great.

After work was done, invoice came back for $369.92, an incredible price gouge for a routine, simple electrical task ! Owner refused to breakdown invoice into labor and materials. I waited over a month for them to even reply to my email and had to contact them again threatening to dispute the charge and write a proper review unless they responded. I am not sure about the other reviews that show good service, but to me they are unprofessional and unwilling to justify charges, obviously because they are not justifiable.

All work was completed flawlessly. Staff was very professional, uniformed cleaned up as they worked. No issues.

It worked out fine. They came as scheduled and did the job that I wanted done. We were happy with it. They did what I wanted done, it looks good, works well. I would use them again. It was as expected. They did what they were suppose to do, and did it on time.

The guys were extremely professional and punctual. The work done for the most part was done well. With that said there are still items that were not addressed during the remodel like a full smoke detection upgrade to meet current code, a switch that was mounted higher than the surrounding switches and a couple of switches that do not work as they were intended. We are set to have them come back to trim out the rough in so we will update our rating at that time. As for the over all price of the work done I would have to say it was a little on the high side for what we actually received in the way of product. Again will finish our review of this company upon the completion of this project. For now its a solid B for this company.

Well, it seems to be working fine now and still has not popped off when it has gotten wet. So for now, I'm happy with it. We'll see when the rainy season starts. In the meantime, I need additional work done, so I'll hire them again to see how they do.

I recall not being terribly pleased. It took three visits to get the job done correctly. They sent, the first two times, somebody that did not seem to know exactly what they were doing. The third time, they sent somebody that obviously was older and more experienced, and actually could do the job and get it done. Basically, it is better to deal with the owner or top person. I think the person that came out the first two times was kind of in-training and thought a ceiling fan an easy job and unfortunately, it was not. It required somebody that knew a little bit more about electric than the color of the wires. My husband was helping too. It was a two-person job and they just sent one person.

Never showed up. I had an appointment to have the work done between 10am and 12 noon. No one ever showed up or called me. My wife had a "message on her phone at work advising us to call their office. I attempted to call their office several times leaving voice messages, no one had the decency to call me to explain why they cancelled by work or to reschedule another day. I took off work to wait for this company and lost a days pay because of their actions. I tried emailing their company and again no response. If your looking for an electrician I would suggest looking for a reliable company, not this one.

They cut a hole in the wrong place and told me that I could easily find s drywall contractor to fix it. I said No, you fix it. Their layout design was flawed and the illumination provided by the lights was insufficient for the room. Additionally, they installed the wrong type of LED light bulbs. Their dimmer switch did not work for the light bar I had ordered. I called their office while all this was going on to make sure they knew that there were a lot of problems with the work underway. I got an answering device and asked them to call me back ASAP. They never did. I personally had to run to a local lighting store to buy the correct light bulbs and dimmer switch.

Mike was pleasant and demonstrated competency in his work. A very pleasant individual.

He showed up early, installed 2 decorative lights, one on each side of my garage door. The job looks well done.

The first time not able to fix but when I e-mailed them they responded quickly and sent someone else who could perform the job.
