Hasn't done any work
Description of Work: Speedy Electric is anything but Speedy. I bought my coupon in October. I called them to set a time to do some work and they informed me that they would call me back when their paper work was in order. Today they called me and gave me their first appointment which is March 6th. I won't do business with them again.

I went into my report from Angie's List and copied our purchase report and posted below, this ticket was purchased on 12/27/2012 not in October. The first time the customer returned our phone call after several attempts to reach him by phone and e-mail beginning on 12/28 was February 12th when our Thank you for your purchase e-mail went out. I have also went into our customer data base and copied all of our attempts that have a date stamp on it that we attempted to contact the customer. We apologize if there is some sort of confusion, but we feel we are did everything we could to contact the customer in timely manner. bad from the first call
Description of Work: speedy wasn't to speedy to come out, multiple calls, multiple cancels, then once they did come out no estimate, several calls they said they would email an estimate, still no estimate. I don't think I offend them in anyway. 4 weeks later still no estimate. I have to wonder how they are ranked number one on Angies list? That's why I called them. I am loosing faith in Angies list cause this isn't the first time something like this has happened, I think these contractors manipulate the Angies List system.

Our company policy is to have quotes given while we are on site, If it is a larger estimate requiring more detail, company policy is to have estimate to customer within 24 hours. There is no excuse for this to happen to any of our customers, in which we are grateful to and appreciate the opportunity to work with. Here is what occurred: on Friday December 14th customer phoned to schedule an estimate, we scheduled customer promptly for Monday December 17th between 3:00 and 5:00 pm we arrived on time at 4:19 pm and time off was 5:15 pm he had 3 estimates involving FPL (Power Company) and permitting. In the last 3 years daily changes have occurred with FPL and permitting, so in an effort to be correct we had to contact both parties to follow correct procedures and make sure no changes had occurred. We were awaiting answers from both parties before we could present our quotes. Although we strive to be perfect and correspond with our customers we are human and sometime we make mistakes. With the holidays upon us this estimate did fall behind normal procedures as we awaited responses from FPL. Speedy did fail to correspond with customer to explain time delay. For this we are truly sorry. Our customer’s deserve five star customer service, when we fail to provide this we slow down have company meetings to gather ourselves and reflect on how to improve and ensure this does not happen in the future. We appreciate Angie’s List rating (report card) because it keeps us on our toes to provide Superior Five Star Service and let’s us know when we need to improve. We value all feedback. On a second note: It would be nice for us to ALL understand that the world has changed and ALL companies are forced to do more with less staff. We are all feeling stress at work with less people as we all do more with less. It would be nice for all of human kind to be a little more patient and understanding of each other, especially to small companies who are striving to bring back personalized-relationship customer service while competing with large corporations. The only communication I received was an email detailing the cost for whole house protection as over $1,000! That whole thing was a bait and switch scheme.

Description of Work: Lets just say that after either I fix or pay to have fixed all of their mistakes, it was no bargain. I need to re-stucco a portion of the ceilings in all three rooms that they installed recessed lighting in addition to fixing woodwork and stucco that was damaged. I would be hesitant to re-use their services unfortunately.

Description of Work: The folks at Speedy were very nice and hung two lamps for me. Scheduling was a breeze and the two techs showed up on time, were very nice and did a great job. I can't remember how much I paid as I got a deal through Naples News and then paid some extra for an extra lamp.I will definitely call these guys again when I need similar work done.
