Description of Work: I called Haines for a second opinion and a quote on a new air conditioning system for my home. Linda came to my house and did an inspection of the current system. She detailed the different systems available that the company installed. I was interested in a Carrier system. She was very knowledgable about the systems and provided me with excellent information. She also set up the second opinion on my present system with a technician from the company. He was also excellent and did a very thorough inspection and advised me that the system was still functioning but was not sure for how long. I did concur that it would probably be a good idea to replace before the system flat out died. I did get two other estimates and went with the provider whose cost for the system was comparable but who also gave me a tem year warranty on parts and SERVICE! I have to say, that was just too good a deal to pass up. However, I am glad to have met the Haines people and have a good deal of respect for their customer service. I would not hesitate to use them in the future.

Description of Work: Replaced old 10 Seer A/C unit with new 16 Seer unit. Ran new separate return to master bedroom and new larger return to unit to unit to remove negative for unit.

Description of Work: Our AC unit suddenly stopped working late on a Thursday. We looked online and called Haines since they had good reviews and were in our local area. We scheduled someone to come out the next morning. The technician was running about a 1/2 hour late, and he called to let us know he would arrive at approximately noon. He was very courteous, neat and professional. He pinpointed the problem within minutes. We had a blown capacitor. He had the correct replacement part on his truck and did the complete repair in that one visit. The entire visit lasted about 1/2 hour. He was very informative without trying to sell us on additional services. We would absolutely use Haines again.
