They tell you in advance what their service includes. I used them for 12 residence in our condo association. They gave me a discounted rate since they were doing mine and 11 others on the same day. They gave me a report of what they did. They do what they say they are going to.

They do what they say they are going to do. They were nice guys who were here on time and in and out and did what they said.

Very well. Now I have them come every 6 months to keep my 20yo equipment in good shape. Well worth it

The installers arrived on time, completed their work faster than expected and cleaned up the work area (much appreciated) all while being friendly and professional. Not only did my dogs like them (rare) but two of my neighbors have also used Haines A/C with the same level of satisfaction.

Awful! Upon concluding that they sent an incompetent worker to repair my air conditioner I terminated their service and paid them in full for what they had done. I hired another A/C company and was most satisfied with the other company's work. Now, nine months later Haines sent a NEW bill for $152. No explanation was provided for why another bill appeared at such a late date. Naturally, I paid it as I was stupid enough to hire Haines in the first place. If you wish to deal with a company that operates in this fashion you deserve what you will get. I feel that it is my duty as a consumer to warn you.

We pay $100 a year for two preventive maintenance calls. They were prompt. They came when they said they were supposed to and they were very thorough. They cleaned up. They were very professional. They completed the job in 40 minutes.

Mainly it's been Haines Refrigeration.

We really didn't need anything done, but the team that came really worked at uncovering any problem that we might have.

First, they answered my distress call in about 15 minutes. It was Sunday and our air conditioner went out. Not good! Rich, the tech called and said he was swamped with calls and had been working since 7 am and it was now 8 pm. He said he would get there within 1.5 hours. He showed up well within the 1.5 hours and spent the next hour or so identifying the problem and fixing it. They didn't gouge me because it was Sunday and after hours. We had our air conditioner back up and working and my wife was VERY happy!

Overall it was a great experience. The only suggestion I have, is that their website should be more interactive and offer scheduling on bill pay online.

Purchased a Trane XL20i (very pleased with system still five years later) and all work was performed on time and at the price expected. I asked them to locate the AC a little further away than what was estimated and they accommodated me w/o extra charges without any issues. I did have some problems with the heating unit after (not Haines' doing) and they fixed it under warranty in a very timely manner. All in all very pleased.

We had experienced problems with two previous air conditioning companies. One of our neighbors recommended Haines. We contacted them and they explained various programs. We have been with them of 3 years and have found Haines to be completely responsive and they don't try to up-sell you as other a/c companies do. When we first went with them they were the second company to give us a quote for a new air conditioner. When I asked Haines why they quoted a different model than the first company, the rep said it was because a/c quoted by the first company would not fit through the access stairway to the attic. An example of the professionalism at Haines.

I only got an estimate. Their price was enough higher that they didn't win. They were responsive.

They did not give us a sales pitch!! They did a good job and they were reasonably priced.

They come when they say they are going to come. They are very professional. The cost of their service is very reasonable. We have signed up for a maintenance package. They have the highest quality. We would absolutely continue to use them in the future.

This was a first visit from this air conditioning business because we had just purchased a new home. I expected to hear that our units needed to be replaced...no info was left for us by the former owner...but we heard that all was fine with what was already installed. Our serviceman was prompt, clean and pleasant and was not daunted by the scorching temps in the crawl space over the garage. We look forward to working with Haines.

Tech Brian was fast and professional, and explained the problem with the old motor.

The first service was provided in early June of this year. We came to stay in our condo and upon arrival discovered that the A/C wasn't working. We called several A/C firms in the area and Haines was the very first to respond and fix the problem. They sent a very experienced technician who diagnosed the problem and replaced a defective condenser. Everything took about 1 hour, including chilling the unit outside with cold water so that it could be restarted in the heat of the day with the new condenser in place. In the second instance, we put our unit for sale later in the summer and buyer's inspector somehow concluded that the unit wasn't cooling sufficiently. Since the unit was repaired just ~3 months prior to that, this seemed unlikely. I called Haines and spoke to Tom Haines, the owner. He was very courteous on the phone and explained to me that and quot;insufficient coolingand quot; was most likely the result of the inspector not waiting sufficiently long for the temperature to drop after starting the A/C. (We usually set the A/C at 79F when we weren't there). However, the buyer didn't accept this explanation and required us to re-inspect/repair the unit. I spoke to Tom again about the need to inspect. He didn't send a technician - he came himself! It took him about 1-2 minutes to check the temperature with a thermocouple and confirm that everything was working fine. He wrote an official report and didn't charge a penny for this service. Therefore, I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for service and highly recommend his company to others.

I felt were honest when servicing the one I had to replace.

We have a (part time) home in Bonita Springs, FL. The fan on our AC unit went out on Sun. Oct. 23. I called the company we currently have a service contract with (not Haines AC) and was told someone would call me back Mon. morning after 8 AM. After not hearing from them by 8:30 on Mon., I called them, and they had a serviceman out later that day to diagnose the problem, which was a bad motor on our AC unit. He stated that he would have to order a new motor, but their company only has 1 person who places orders, and he was out of the office until Tue. I asked if anyone else could at least order the motor to get going on this; he said nobody but that one person could place parts orders, which I thought was strange. I then called on Tue. morning to see what the timeline was for getting our AC repaired, and was informed that the order placer still was not in yet. I then was referred to Haines Air Conditioning, and gave them a call. After giving them the info. over the phone, they had a serviceman out that same day who fixed the problem, and we were also informed that this was covered by an extended warranty and it was done at no charge to us (the extended warranty was never mentioned by the company who we currently have the service contract with, and from whom the warranty was purchased). I then called back the above mentioned to tell them to forget about getting the AC motor for us, as we had the problem solved. To make a long story short: I was very impressed with their promptness, honesty, and service. As soon as our current service contract expires, we will be switching our business to Haines AC Co.

The air handler, junction box, and some other minor damages caused by the fire were under warranty so they just charged for the labor. A week later, I had another electrician out to look at the box again and it had already begun to burn so Haines is going to reimbursement. I have been very happy with them over the years and this was the first time I had a problem.

They have been excellent. The workers show up on time and are friendly and professional. They explain the work they are doing to me. I will continue to use them for future service.
