Very professional. The work described in the estimate was exactly what it cost and I was impressed by the overall finished product. I had a small garden area to work with and am happy with the results. I will call them again in the future.

Simply superb....which should not be a surprise. We've already procured designs for the rear of our home and are waiting for HOA approval before moving ahead. DO call Mark and his team immediately and tell them that you heard about it from me on Angie's List. You will not be disappointed. DO call others and ask to see if they provide you with warranties, computer generated drawings, timely and friendly service that's both on time and within budget. DO NOT delay - Mark's a gem and he's worth every penny for his workmanship, professionalism and great personality.

Mark came at the agreed upon time to review the job and give me a quote to do it. He was nice and listened to what my husband and I wanted done. He assured us this was fine and well within their capabilities. I told him at that time when we wanted the job done - it was to be about 2 months - after the hurricane/rainy season was mostly over. We agreed to the job and scheduled a date. Mark followed up when the time to do the job was approaching and we set the date. Because we were going to need a lot of mulch (Mark estimated 30 cubic yards) I suggested we get the mulch blown in. Mark agreed and knew a company to do it. He contacted them, got a quote and told me to pay them directly which I did. When Mark arrived to do the job (on time), we walked the property again and went over what was to be done. Mark complained at this time that things had grown since he had been here before. This should not have been a surprise but seems to have been. The crew got to working and things were going smoothly. When they were ready to transplant the trees I saw that the guys had dug the trees but destroyed most of the root systems. These were small trees that had been in the ground for only one year so getting the roots should have not been too difficult if any sort of care was used. When the trees were put into the ground they were buried too deep - with dirt up their trunks. When trees are planted they are supposed to stay that the same level as when previously planted. This was a basic error. Mark made excuses for what was done and did not fix the issue. The roots of course could not be put back on and after only about one week one tree will not make it while the other two have about a 20% chance even with all the pampering I can give them. Mark did not stay to oversee and assist with the job being done. He told me it was his day to pick up the kids from school. The guys continued to work but than 5PM rolled around and the supervisor rang the doorbell and presented me with a bill and said they were done. I could see they had only completed the side yard and had not even touched the back. Additionally Mark had said he was returning the next day to do the sprinkler system work ... so why was I being told to give the supervisor a check? I called Mark and complained. He told me he would be out the next day and told his guys to do the back yard. We still had one day before the mulch was coming so we had time to get the job completed. I tried calling Mark in the morning with the phone number I had (an office number as it turned out that was not forwarded to the cellphone) and left a few messages trying to determine what time Mark was coming back so I could be sure to be there. He finally called me and the timing was arranged. Mark arrived, I showed him problems, he made excuses. Mark said he would send two guys from his crew back in the afternoon and told them to do what needed to be done. The crew was careless, missing much of what was pointed out to them to complete. My husband and I had an appointment to meet with friends that evening and we had to leave at 5PM. I went out to see how the crew was progressing and I saw they were still missing a lot of the weeds. Instead of pointing them out again, I just spent an hour pulling things they had overlooked. These were put in a pile and I told the crew supervisor that before they left, to get the piles I made. I told him we would be leaving at 5PM and they should finish up and could stay after we left if they were not done. The crew left within 10 minutes of the conversation and left behind the piles I had made and still did not complete the job. I again called Mark and told him that I was sure this supervisor did not understand English as well as he thought because I am sure that was the only reason they left without finishing and without picking up the piles I had made. Mark assured me he was quite fluent and he had been working for him over 10 years. Gosh, I was giving the guy an excuse and a way out. The mulch people called with a problem with their truck and made excuses (none were required or asked for) but than did arrive at about 4PM. The mulch ordered by Mark which was 30 yards was about 25 yards short. Because 30 yards was the minimum I was forced to get an additional 30 yards to complete the job. It is a shame Mark did not estimate correctly or even closely. When my husband asked "would you use them again?" - well I have to loudly say NO. I was so disappointed with the job that was done and all the excuses from Mark ... "This is the way I have been doing things for 30 years". Well, my response is "that was than and this is now." I am sorry Mark - I know you told me your reviews on this site were important to your business but this site is supposed to be fair and honest - it is why I checked here for a landscaper. If I did not issue a report that went over my experience it would not be fair to other Angie List Members. I was trying to avoid something like this experience. Mark needs to pay attention to his crew. I would recommend he actually work with them to see things are done correctly. If he does not want to be outside than he needs to get a new supervisor who speaks better English and who has a eye for detail and will pay attention to the job. I would never recommend this company after my experience and I am really sorry I had to have this experience. I may pay for my previous landscaper who is in Colorado to come to Florida for a visit and to do the job next year.

I was surprised that they didn't ask for any money up front, and took payment in full on completion. They weren't the cheapest, but when you stand behind your product you sell I'll gladly pay the extra 10% over the guy with no guarantee and no insurance. Thanks again!

We recently hired Pristine Landscapes to do our front yard. My husband and I were very impressed with Mark's design, price and performance. He was always very professional, timely and honest. He completed the job in a timely fashion and ensured our satisfaction of the job. Mark did go above and beyond providing not only great work but also excellent customer service.

Everything went smoothly, Mark came out and took pictures. He created pictures with new landscaping ideas and emailed to me. I chose what I liked and he and his crew came and created the new look. Excellent work.

Being new to Florida, I used Angies list to find 3 landscape contractors. I called Pristine and two other companies in to go over new design and get advice. The 3 companies were all similar in price, but I liked how Mark approached the job. First he took photos of the front. Then he emailed me a design showing how it would look on my home. He was the only contractor that was innovative enough to do that. It made choosing his company a no-brainer. Like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. When the job was complete, I did have issues. Some of the plants were dying. I contacted Mark, and he addressed my concerns quickly and replaced all of the bad plants immediately. That's how you tell a quality company - How they handle adversity. Mark passed my test.

I'm not sure I have the words to say how happy we are with Mark and his company Pristine Landscapes! My husband and I moved into a new home and the lawn (if I could call it that) and all the landscaping in general, was a mess. We've been in the house a couple of months and couldn't wait any longer to get it taken care of, but we were afraid we wouldn't be able to get everything done at once. I called Mark who came right out to meet me to look over our situation and to talk over what we were looking for. He took photos, and the next day he emailed me his design. I told him what we liked and what we might like different. He quickly made some changes and sent them to me with the cost. He had the price broken down by areas of our property so that we could pick what we wanted done at that time, but after seeing the total cost and how reasonable it was, we went ahead and had him do everything at once. Mark put new sod int he front of the house, as well as all new landscaping along the front of the house. We have a half circle driveway with a large Black Olive tree in the middle of it that needed sod and landscaping, which we had done. They cleaned up the privacy hedges along one side of the house and filled them in with some new ones. We had an area in the back cleaned up and landscaped with new plants and a new palm tree. We also have a chain link fence along the back of our property. They planted hedges all along the back so that they will eventually grow to cover the fence and give us some privacy. Mark and his company did all of this in ONE DAY! I left the house on Tuesday morning looking at the mess I had grown used to, and came home to a gorgeously landscaped home!! I couldn't believe they did everything in one day. My husband siad he almost drove by the house on the way home because he didn't recognize it! Mark called me first thing on Wednesday to make sure everything was OK and to our liking and I told him we couldn't be happier. He reminded me that everything was guaranteed for a year and to call him if there were any problems. I can't recommend this company enough. Mark is great - he's personable, professional and obviously cares about what he does. They did an amazing job, for a great price, in an extremely timely manner. We do not have a single complaint! It was as pleasant an experience as you could hope for!

Mark and I played telephone tag for a couple of weeks,but I wanted to wait and have him bid the job because of his excellent rating here. When we finally got together for an estimate he was timely and professional. I called 3 other paver companies and only 1 showed up to give an estimate. It's funny how everyone say's theres no work down here and they either don't call back or just don't even show up for appointments. I was happy with the price Mark gave me. I got a price $100 cheaper then his original estimate , but he matched the price. His workers showed up as scheduled , but were not organized or had a sense of urgency to complete the job on time. I called Mark and he corrected the problem. The worker did an excellent job with the exception of burying one of my sprinkler heads. After another call to Mark it was corrected the next day. The only other complain I had was the concrete work on the borders were sloppy. Mark came back to inspect and we agreed for another $100 he would put sod over the concrete border. It was done the next day. All in all the job came out great and I am very happy with my new backyard. The only suggestion to Mark would be to come and check the workers job during the job and not after everything was done. He should have also suggested or recommended the sod in the beginning. Again I am very happy with the finished product and price. Mark is a really good guy to deal with an stands behind the work. He was very upset with the workers progress and made sure it got done right in the end. I have to follow up with him because the sod they laid is turning brown , but I am confident he will do the right thing. I have already recommended him to 3 other people and would use him again

Because of my travel schedule, Mark, the owner I believe, came out to the house while I was away and took some digital pictures. He then used software to show what the garden would look like after he was done. Communication via phone and email was great. The workers arrived right on time and got to work immediately. Mark arrived before hand to lay out the plants and tell me how the job would proceed. He followed up later with a phone call to ensure I was satisfied.

They asked my to take a photo of the lawn and send it to them. They reviewed the photo and came back w/ a quote of $300 to re-sod an area about 10' x 18'. I got another estimate from Tillian Lawn (they cut my grass) at half the price, so i went w/them- they did a great job- not sure why anyone would pay double the price to use Pristine.

We are very happy with this company's work. They made the entire process simple, including a free consultation, quickly following up with photo-shopped pictures illustrating the transformation of our yard, showing up on time, and performing all services with the highest quality. It's hard to find reputable service providers in South Florida, but this company fits the bill. His prices were as good or better than his competitors. I recommend this company to anyone interested in updating or recreating their landscaping.

Simply world class. From the start to the finish, this second experience - like our first - was both a pleasure to watch unfold.

Everything turned out well. They respondeded quickly, arrived on time, and did an excellent job.

The group came in and cleared out all the old dying shrubbery and Mark gave us a computer printout of the location and what he envisioned in the space and then put it together

Mark was wonderful. Each job was reviewed with us before it was started and any changes were incorporated. The only delay was obtaining the permit from Pompano Beach, but Mark diligently addressed each of their issues making several trips to the city hall. He even made sure finishing touches were completed early since we were entertaining guests. When work was being done, he or his assistant came by to ensure everything was being done properly, and they met with the building inspector, as well. I would definitely use them again. In fact, my neighbor used them after seeing some of the work done here.

To say that we've been pleased with Mark (would be an understatement. I am in the service business as well, and Mark - and I - practice the two primary rules that have lead to our success: 1. He shows up when he says he will. 2. He does what he says he will do. That Mark and his crew are friendly, conscientious, clean and willing to make the situation right - is the icing on the cake. When you've been in the service business as long as I have, you can tell when you meet "good people". Make no mistake about it; Mark and Pristine Landscape are the poster-children for quality, fairness and friendliness. We've already asked him to design additional landscaping around our residence...and I can't wait to employ him for more work. Lest you think I am a relative, please know that I am not. I'm just a guy who found him here on Angie's List. I called 3 other landscapers - all who had high ratings like Mark/Pristine - and none of them were even close. You owe it to yourself to do as I did. And while I am not a betting man, I'd hazard a guess that you'll end up selecting Pristine Landscaping to do your work.

Overall, they did a good job. In the end, everything was fine. There wasn?t anything really unique. It certainly was easy to get along with.

He is excellent. He took stuff out and put stuff in. He comes back when things are not looking too well. He has come back to clean up for us though we have paid him for that. He is very good.

The experience was excellent. Mark was very courteous and professional. Did the work when required and always kept our budget in mind. No surprises in the end.

When I was inquiring about an estimate I really wasn't sure what I wanted done. Don arrived on time, was pleasant and gave me a couple options to think over. He provided an estimate quickly and was within reason. Because of the suggestions and personableness, I went with this company. All the work was done amazingly, on schedule and beautifully! The back landscaping came out beautiful and clean, matching with the neighbors. There was a small hic-cup with the pavers that Don quickly resolved without disrupting any other work. Friends and co-workers will be using this company based on my before and after pictures! I was very, very happy, and have received a ton of compliments.

Recently had a pool, patio and large circular driveway installed. Needed the landscaping done. My neighbor had a small area landscaped that came out neat and pretty. She gave me the phone number for Pristine. Mark came to my house and gave me a quote. The work was started on time. Finished in a timely manner Looks great.
