They were on Angie's List. They are not quite done yet. The quote was for $10000. So far they are doing exceptionally well. I liked their professionalism and their sense of understanding. They understood what our needs were and seemed very responsive to what we wanted. Mark came out and he was extraordinarily a great guy. He was very personable, pleasant and knowledgeable. We checked a couple of people and he was the first one that was responsive. He was on time and so far he's done everything he said he would do and did it on time. I have ways to go yet but I suppose we are half way.

In a word: "Wow!". Mark Sommer of Pristine Landscaping did an exemplary job transforming my house's desolate, weed-laden patches of dirt into a tropical paradise in just a few days! Attentive, professional, punctual, collaborative and filled with helpful knowledge, Mark engendered my confidence from the beginning; showing me many beautiful options (complete with computerized mock-ups) of how the house's landscaping would look upon completion. Happily, once installation was completed, it turned out even better than I imagined (neighbors cannot stop telling me house amazing my house now looks!). I would hire him again in a heartbeat. Any homeowner considering a tune-up on their exterior property should contact Pristine first.

Even though we opted not to have the landscaping upgrade completed at the present time, the overall experience with this company was informative, and both positive and productive.

I called Pristine Landscape along with several other landscape companies to get an estimate on the removal of some existing plants from a newly purchased home and adding some new plants in their place. Many of the companies contacted either didn't return my phone call or did but never provided an estimate for the work. I even had two companies come out to my house and then never bothered to follow up with an estimate. Not only did Mark provide an estimate but he took the time to correspond with me and provided some other options as well. I decided to go with Pristine Landscape and the work was scheduled in a timely manner that was convenient with my schedule. A couple of weeks after the work was completed I noticed an issue with a couple of the plants and Mark came out and replaced them. It's only been a couple of months so only time will tell how the plants do but I'm not worried about it. Pristine Landscape provides a one-year guarantee on all plants and I'm confident that if an issue arises it will be resolved. Mark was always pleasant, professional and punctual which is so rare in today's workforce.

My experience with them was very good. They were very friendly. The gentleman who was in charge was great and he was good about getting back to us. The people that worked under him are all very good. They were friendly people. All-in-all, the services was very good.

My lawn looks great. Greenest on the block. Very happy with the work that was done.

It went well. Mark is extrememly nice and knowledgeable. Overall, I am happy I went with Pristine. The estimate was great! I was provided with a digital image of what it would look like. We made a few changes. The installation was quick. It took less time than I expected. The plant installers did cut a cable wire though. However, Mark was very nice about it and even offered me his office to work in since I lost internet. The cable wasn't really burried deep enough, so it wasn't really Mark's fault. He also took a little of the price just for the trouble, which was nice. I had a lot of questions afterward about the plant care and Mark is always great about responding. The plants have a year warranty, so I don't have to worry too much. Again - You just get a feeling when you meet people and I have had a lot of estimates since moving into our new home. Mark is a very, very nice person and he is great to work with.

The City of Coconut Creek requires that I put a "canopy tree" in my front yard. In order to do this my wonderful pigmy palm trees had t be moved. I just bought the house & there were some bushes that were looking a little sad, so I wanted them replaced. I stopped at Mark's office to talk to him about the job & he came the next day to see what needed to be done & gave me an estimate as well as some suggestions for the type of bushes I should use. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted so I went to some nurseries & picked out some that I liked. Mark helped me decide which ones to use based on where they would go in my yard & which would be the most successful. His crew arrived on the morning of our appointment & began removing the sad bushes & digging up the tree. Removing & planting the bushes was the easy part. Moving the tree turned out to be a lot harder & took a lot longer than anticipated. The crew even waited patiently while my husband & I had a "discussion" on exactly where the tree would go. The crew cleaned up everything and checked the sprinkler system to make sure all of the plants would get sufficient water. They replaced sprinklers which were damaged during the tree moving as well as the one my husband hit with the lawn mower! Mark came by that afternoon to check on the work and test the sprinklers. He replaced a couple of sprinkler heads with ones that would cover the plants better than the existing ones. Since it took so much longer than anticipated to move the tree, I expected that there would be an additional charge. This was not the case. Everything was done for the original price. Mark was very helpful & answered all of my questions about my landscaping. Since we just moved from Ohio, I have a lot to learn about Florida plants. Mark has been a great help. Once all the tree planting is done I will call Mark to help me with the flowers I want to plant around the trees.I am so pleased with the work & will definitely recommend Mark & his company. He told me that his workers have been with him for 12 years which does not surprise me as Mark is so friendly & helpful.

What a great experience working with Mark! I was getting my property ready for my wedding and Mark installed over 40 plants including some beautiful and tall allocasias, as well as mulched the entire job and installed 16 spot lights with 2 transformers. He came when promised and finished the job on the same day. Even when one of the spot lights was not working, Mark came to my house right away and took care of the issue. I highly recommend his professionalism and his customer service skills. He was not pushy and did not try to sell me anything I did not want to. Thanks Mark and will be calling you every other month or so for clean a up job. More importantly, the guests at my wedding were very impressed with my garden and we took so many pictures! It's all about the looks!

Mark and his crew worked quickly, replaced sod on the side of the house and added a drain to help an area that constantly flooded. Pristine also added a border to the sod so we would have a planting bed for flowers. We did have some questions after the work was completed and Mark immediately responded and answered all our questions and made some changes that we requested. Mark was very pleasant to work with, and did a great job.

Submitted on line request and called them the next day. No email or call returned! As if they had disappeared from earth! Can't do business with someone like this, when this happens at the very beginning...

Getting the landscaping fixed up around my house had been on my list of things to get done for awhile, but I had no idea where to start. I contacted Mark at the beginning of December to see what he could do for me and from the start, Mark was very easy to work with and very responsive with answering my questions and giving recommendations. One of the things that impressed me most was when I asked about having a french drain installed in the back yard to help with water buildup during the rainy season. Mark did not think it was a good idea and explained why as well as suggesting alternatives such as using plants and mulch that would deal with the water much better than grass. After I signed off on Marks proposal, we scheduled an install date of Jan 3rd. On the install date, Mark showed up at my house right on time at 9:30am, and took the time to go over all the work that was to be done. The rest of Marks crew consisting of 3 guys arrived by 10:00am and were working by 10:30am, after Mark had gone over all the details of the work being done with them. They worked through the entire day and finished the entire job by 7:00pm. All of Marks guys were hard working, polite and courteous. Once the job was done they did an excellent job of making sure that everything was cleaned up. Overall, I am very pleased with quality of work and service provided by Mark and his guys. I spent a bit more than I had originally planned on this project, but after it was all said and done I don't doubt that I got my money's worth.

Mark's guys at Pristine Landscape showed up when they were scheduled and touched up my landscaping needs. In addition, I asked Mark to have a black plastic border put around one of the sections of flowers in our front yard. All this clean up, added mulch and border work was done while my wife and I were at work. Additionally, it was noticed that one of the major plants near our front porch was not doing well. Mark subsequently had one of his guys come out a couple of days later and replaced the plant, and the new plant was even bigger and better than the original one used. I cannot say enough great things about Pristine Landscape.

Marc gave me a price of $1800 for the landscaping and then an extra $300 for something else that my husband wanted done in our backyard. March described to me what he would do, but did not give me a written estimate or a computer rendering of the what the finished job would look like. I asked for a rendering but he said he couldn't. As I had an idea of what I wanted and what he said he would do, I let it go. I was mostly satisfied with the outcome. However, Marc never called or came by after the work was finished to see if I was satisfied or how I like the job. In fact, when his workers packed up after they were finished, they tried to get an additional $50 from us by telling us a different price than what was agreed upon. We did not pay it.

Mark is a real professional! He worked with and around the schedule of also having pool decking done and therefore completed our projects in 2 stages. His workmen were neat and had to remove a great deal of old Bermuda grass and ficus hedge, as well as cut down a large tree. After much discussion and useful emails and suggestions, the planting began. It took only two days to get the place from "rough" to a finished, but natural look. We believe the plantings look like they have been in the yard for a long time. Mark Is easy to work with and we feel his pricing is very fair for a high quality job. We would certainly use his company again and recommend Pristine Landscapes very highly!!

They came to check out the property, listen to ideas and take pictures and measurements. I was emailed an estimate within a few days and agreed to the price. They set up a date and were there when they said they would be, did a beautiful job, and did not leave any mess. I was very impressed with thier professionalism and attention to detail!

The company is very professional, affordable. What was once a jungle is now a very low maintenance, attractive area that is impactful. It also capitalizes on the use of space to support my hummingbird and butterfly population. I like the stone look so much, I plan to expand it and am looking forward to the front yard design. Mark is very professional and an excellent communicator. The yardsmen were very efficient, worked diligently and left the area clean. I have used 5 different landscapers since moving to South Florida. Pristine is the highest quality I have experienced.

Building a pool and making all the arrangements to fix sprinklers, replace sod, and trying to picture what everything would look like and keeping within a budget was a bit overwhelming to say the least. I met with Mark on several occassions, thru email and in person. Mark was always available to take my calls and always showed up as planned. I called to make an appointment for an estimate and Mark arrived the next day. He had some great ideas on how to clean and spruce up the beds. Later on that day, Mark provided a detailed estimate (via email) on the number and type of plants, cost of each type and cost of the lighting. In total, 271 plants were added along with sod and mulch for touch-up. The lighting looks great and looks vary nice in the evening. Mark and his crew arrived on time, as promised, and almost completed the job in one day (had to stop due to thunderstorm). They came back the next day to finish up. They did a great job and cleaned up everything when they were finished. I will definitely use them again for any landscaping needs and would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality landscaper.

We had a really bad landscaper about 2 years ago and had to finally bite the bullet and re-do a very botched job. We saw the exellent reviews about Pristine Landscapes, and decided to give Mark a call. He was as good as the reviews swear he is--we had to wait for his availability (Tropical Storm Isaac came to town), but it was DEFINITELY worth it. We liked this demeanor and professionalism---the guy really knows his plants and had several great suggestions on how to improve our situation. We would recommend him without any reservation. His crew was great as well..they have been working with Mark for 10 years. You simply cannot go wrong with Pristine Landscapes--they are the BEST!

After careful consideration of three landscaping businesses , Mark Sommers of Pristine Landscapes was selected . From the very beginning at Mark's nursery, Mark displayed a great deal of knowledge and was a careful listener. He has been in the landscape business for 25 years and he is licensed and insured. His company also offers a one year guarantee on installation(s). Where we live, there is little or no privacy from the street. So, Mark knew that in choosing plants and palms, they would need to provide effective covering as well as beauty. Another consideration involved care and maintenance . Whatever was installed had to be easily cared for. Also,working with other projects, with other contractors, we have experienced poor communication skills and a lot of frustration with missing deadlines. The chosen contractor needed to be responsible and professional. Mark hit it out of the ball park and was everything we ever wanted in a contractor. Moreover, he continues to be a caring for his clients beyond the end of the project and makes himself available to answer questions.
