George knows his stuff!

Sometimes a contractor has a lot of work. And sometimes not much work. I believe it is a sincere and better service to decline a job (once in a while) instead of falling behind and disappointing a client with absence from the jobsite and a late delivery. Description of Work: Horrible experience! They priced a simple job over 6 times any other contractor I had estimate the project!! They told me water lines and electrical needed to be replaced that worked and was up to code!! I went with Dale Meckler instead!! I warn everyone to stay away from this company!!!!

Our estimate was for $18,860.00 for the scope of work agreed to with the member. I doubt that $3,143.33 – one sixth of our estimated price – can cover: - the full reconstruction of a kitchen, installing cabinetry, appliances, plumbing fixtures and electrical upgrades per code, - the 65% reconstruction of the master bathroom, including frameless glass shower enclosure, - the 60% reconstruction of the 2nd bathroom, - framing, drywall replacement 2 to 4 feet off the floor around some areas, - priming and painting all walls, closets, ceilings, doors and trim, in the 1,780 sf dwelling, - and replacement of a water heater. This is an unfair review and the “Horrible experience” is ours. The member told me that we should wear masks inside the house. There is great damage from mold, corrosion, animal fecal matter and urine. Rodents had invaded the vacant and unattended home, according to the buyer/member doing the flip. The air conditioning was not working or set properly. The roof leaked. Exposed metal studs were corroded. I wonder about the condition of the remaining studs. We will not hang wall cabinets in the kitchen without exposing all kitchen wall studs for corrosion. We came in under budget and the member decided to pay us the amount he had budgeted before meeting us. I do like the fact that the member answered: “Yes” to: “Hire again”. George

Description of Work: they recommended an appliance repair company, Applinace King, who did a fine job defining the problen and fixing it. On time, reasonable cost. They repaired the freezer door which did not want to close.
