Description of Work: When it comes to handyman people are scared that handymen will be dishonest but I was very comfortable with this guy. He did general repairs, and lighting in my home.

Description of Work: I have been using Art for my handyman needs for close to 20 years. You have to schedule him in advance but he always shows up as scheduled and he works very efficiently. I have never been disappointed and his charges are always fair. I recommend him highly.

Description of Work: Called to get service for a Kenmore double oven. Spoke to Art and he was honest with me that he would not be able to do it cheaper than Sears since he would have to pay the same price as me for the parts. I appreciated his honesty and would absolutely use him in the fiture for handyman jobs. And by the way the Sears "repair" was a disaster and I wouldn't use them in the future for repairs.

+ 2 moreArt took about two hours to complete the tasks. First he tackled the kitchen faucet, then the filter, than the bathroom faucet, and then the ceiling fan. It took longer than it otherwise might have because of a mistake I made concerning the ceiling fan. But, all went very well. A minor glitch in wiring in the wiring of the wall switch controlling the ceiling fan had to be fixed after the initial work was done, and Art returned promptly to fix it. He as very helpful and professional.
Description of Work: Art installed a new kitchen faucet, a new refrigerator water filter, diagnosed and corrected a faulty switch in a ceiling fan, and fixed a stopper attached to a bathroom faucet.

Description of Work: I've worked with Art for over 12 years. He has repaired doors, windows, installed shelving, insulation, etc. His real skill is PLUMBING ! He has replaced faucets, sinks, and all plumbing in my kitchen. He replaced the garbage disposal and has repaired my toilets and leaky faucets. He is excellent! He also has a hobby that includes motorcycle and antique car restoration. He is multi-talented and would be an asset to know!
