The technician, Carlos, showed up at the expected time. He made an assessment of the unit, removed the defective part and showed it to me, and gave a thorough explanation of the function of the part, and the necessary repair and cost. He also performed by semi-annual checkup. He was polite and friendly. I would highly recommend Sunshine A/C.

The service is fantastic, they arrived on time of the set appointment, cleaned up after them selves;, offered suggestions and didn't push us into things we don't need or want.

Arrived promptly. Professional manner. Answered all our questions. Spent 90 minutes checking out every part of units. Very pleasant experience. Will certainly continue to use this company.

I opted to have a new unit insalled. Being in Florida and the high temps,it is imperative to have an ac working properly. The salesperson Sal came to the house. He was prompt, courteous and spent a good bit of time explaining what type of unit would work efficiently for my home. Absolutely NO PRESSURE! He offered 2 options for the type of unit needed. He came prepared with a floor plan of my house. He also offered fiancing options. The installers came at the assigned time and date. They were polite and professional. The garage was totally clean and left free of any materials. During the installation the salesman came by to check on their progress and afterwards he stopped by to explain the thermostat, filter and to verify the job was completed to my satisfaction. The service was excellent, from the HVAC tech to the install, I can only say positive things about SUNSHINE ! A+++ service. I chose SUNSHINE, because of their reviews on ANGIE'S LIST.

Poor telephone skills and demenor.

Had some issues with outside air handler.Resonse by Sunshine Air was professional and prompt.

They come out every 6 months and are good. I would give them a very good rating. They are professional and did a good job. I had a problem and they got right out and took care of it.

We've used Sunshine Air for 12 years and decided to update the heating as well as air conditioning. Since we've always been pleased with their service we decided to talk to them first. Well, the salesman was Sal Caruso... once you meet this young man you get a feeling of sincerity. He stands by his word, gave us all the information we needed, and his advise was invaluable.We are very pleased with both units and highly recommend them, ask for Sal.

Excellent form start to finish! We determined our 12 year old system was due for a repalcement so decided to fix it in March before it failed in August. We interviewed 3 providers and selected Sunshine based in part on it's Angie's List ratings but mostly on their salesman--Sal. Sal came to our home on time, he was courteous, and most importantly technically proficient. He explained the system components and the one best suited for us. Equally so was the performance of the installation team--on time, courteous and technically proficient. When they finished they cleaned up completely and walked me through the set-up. Sal showed-up a little while later to make sure all went well and walked me thru the thermostat settings. He called a week later to make sure we were pleased with our new system--we were!

We have a yearly membership with them. They do a great job. They are very professional.

Sal Caruso was our Sales rep. We found him to be very polite and considerate. He is an experienced sales person, which is what you would want. He provided us what we wanted and needed, and at no time did we feel pressured or that we were being upsold. The installation was performed by professionals who were very nice people. They did a great job of keeping it clean while in process and cleaning up afterward inside the home. They worked swiftly and the installation went very well. Sal notified us the thermostat we had planned on was not available, and he upgraded us at no charge. Additonally, we were under a tight time window for installation, and Sal arranged schedules to fit our time slots, not theirs - pretty remarkable these days, actually.. We had previously met with other contractors and therefore had a pretty good idea of what the appropriate unit was, and when meeting w Sal did not feel he was upsellling, but was providing what he truly knew was best. Additionally, having previously purchased a carrier unit in the past in another city, we wanted the carrier name brand unit and not an offbrand. I had a good business relationship in my past with an HVAC business owner and knew I could trust her judgement. The owner told me more specifically where second-tier companies used lower quality parts or construction in their units when compared to the name brands, particularly Carrier. Additionally, Sal made all arrangements for the permit, and the subsequent inspection, under our tight time frame. The inspector came and found they did not seal the bottom of the outside piping that ran up the side of the condo into the soffit into the attic. We contacted Sal who arranged for it to be resolved the next day. The inspector shared with us his personal HVAC experience he had with a lesser brand name (goodman), where by the condenser coils were of cheaper thnner material (aluminum?) and leaked within several years of installation. We also heard from a neighbor condo owner that their recent intallation of a goodman unit was louder than they expected. (Our carrier outdoor and indoor units are very quiet). We could have bought a second-tier model and paid less up front. But for something this important, we could not be more satisfied we made the right decision to spend more to get the carrier, and, will continue to do business with Sunshine because we have full trust in them. Additionally, as noted in this report, there were numerous times Sal went above and beyond to help us out - well beyond the basics. A very large demonstration of a true professional wanting to make the customer happy. Unless you are on a tight budget and need to spend less, I would strongly recommend Sunshine, and the Carrier brand. Also, if it adds any credibility when readers are making decisions based on these evaluations, I am a CPA.

The salesperson was wonderful. I'm mainly chose them because of their salesperson. We did get a lot of extra things and a lot of extra help. I would use them absolutely in the future. I will be using the annual checkup plan with them. We had a great experience with Sal, their salesman. He did all the rebate forms for us. All we had to do was sign it. To ensure our rebates from the city and the government were received. And now our heat is so even throughout our house we had prior room in our home that were hot or cold. Everyone there is so honest and nice and you can see why there are happy working with the company. They cleaned up so well. Would use them again.

It went very well. They did a great job!

The technician Greg was informative, courteous & got us cool air again quickly; he even called me back to advise me that the additional box on the exterior, (he had not seen before so he called some colleagues) is in fact a heat exchanger for our hot water tank, apparently state of the art 17 years ago. We also requested that a Comfort Specialist contact us to advise where we need to go regarding upgrading our system. You hear of so many horror stories about service companies over charging, not repairing or replacing unnecessary parts, I can safely recommend Sunshine Air going by my experiences to date, I will update again as we go forward.

A 15+ year old AC unit quit putting out cold air. The Sunshine technican came within the hour of calling and promptly determined that my Fan motor had burnt out. He checked all the other components (wiring, capacitor and refrigerant) at the time of service. He was very friendly, informative and very helpful at explaining what was wrong with the AC unit.

Sal Caruso, the salesperson for Sunshine, gave us a thorough description of the work to be done and our options about 10 days in advance. The clean cut installers arrived on time and finished in about 6 hours. Sal arrived at the end to see how things went and to walk us through the finer points of using the new thermostat. He noticed some vibration in the fins of the return duct, so climbed the ladder to fix that. Fortunately, he also double-checked the model and serial numbers on the units and caught a mistake. Then he filled out the rebate forms for us. The Sunshine employees were to a man personable, professional and thorough. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

We were very pleased with their work. They were very meticulous and paid attention to detail. They were considerate in addressing my issues.

At 8:30PM, I called Sunshine Air answering service, they called me back in about 10 minutes, a technician was at my house in about 30-45 minutes, and by 10 PM my air conditioner was working. The service technician was friendly, efficient, professional. He answered all my questions and addressed all of my concerns. I continue to recommend Sunshine to all of my friends when they have AC problems.

They were very helpful in assisting me to get the right system for my home, very courteous and professional. We had to delay the installation 1 day because the system I wanted was out of stock, nothing they could control, but they upgraded my system so it could be put in and at no extra charge. The work was done well above my expectations. When they ran into roadblocks during installation (there are always little unexpected quirks), they worked it out and made sure everything was done right. When done, cleanup was immaculate. They made sure I understood everything about how the system worked before they left and that I was totally satisfied with their work. A few days later I had a problem with my thermostat hookup. When I called them they were here within 30 minutes, fixed the problem, then checked the entire system to make sure everything was still working correctly. This was at 8 PM on a Sunday night, such dedication. I cannot say enough about how happy I am with this company. I will strongly advise all of my friends and family to use this company should they need any work done on air conditioner systems. All of the staff I came in contact with were friendly, professional, knowledgable and the best in the business.
