"I initially hired OP Pool Leak Detection and Repairs in January to find leaks in our pool. All things started off great, Onarbin was very responsive, showed up as he said he would and seemed professional. He found leaks quickly, which is where I wished I would have stopped. Unfortunately, I hired him to replace my leaking pool skimmer. The installation was extremely poor. When we expressed our concerns, Onarbin was quick to give excuses but told us he would return to make repairs. He never did. I now have to hire a new company to repair the work done by O.P. Pool. The photos and video show the issues. Problems with the skimmer installation include: 1. Skimmer was installed too high, it is now sitting above my patio pavers causing a tripping hazard. 2. Skimmer opening at the deck is too small for the skimmer basket to be lifted out. To fix this, Onarbin cut up the skimmer basket so that it could fit through the hole that is too small. 3. One pool pipe under skimmer basket is now filled with loose gravel from the installation. 4. Grout around the skimmer is crumbling. And the top of the skimmer is falling apart 5. Deck pavers around skimmer are now all loose."

We have been in business for 33 years ,same owner who started him self cleaning pools when it was just him,his customers and his truck, now we have 14 routes in dade , broward and palm beach county,we have over 1200 happy customers and growing

"I am amending my review of this company to be more detail-specific and, more importantly, incorporate a few photographs for, as the old saying goes: a picture speaks 1,000 words. Back in 2021 I hired this company to do three things: replaster my pool, regrout the cuping bricks, and repair waterline tiles. Later, under the circumstances described below, I was forced to hire them to perform weekly service of the pool. All in all, this company was solely and exclusively responsible for my pool from November 2021 through May 2022. I have to say that this was, by far, my worst experience ever with a contractor. First, pool’s replastering was of poor workmanship. Not only that but, as explained below, they did not use the material contracted to. The result was a pool that felt rough, uneven, has a blotchy and uneven look, and more. Theirs was not the work I would expect from a company claiming decades of experience. Second, they damaged the coping bricks and neighboring pool deck spots with their unprecise use of saws when they removed the old grout making this even worse with their choice to use an entirely different color for the new grout. The result is something I would expect from me, not a contractor or handyman, rather than a professional contractor. Third, I started this project wanting to change the waterline tiles because of a few missing pieces that cannot be replaced as they are original to the pool, but this company convinced me otherwise telling me that they were in great shape, the quality was better than newer replacement tiles, and added “character” to the pool. They proposed, instead, to make repairs by cannibalizing tiles from inside the skimmer placing a larger, matching color tile inside the skimmer. This worked but, again, poor workmanship showed up again as the grout work was terrible with some places having grout filling up spaces they could’ve easily filled with the recovered tiles. They further damaged the tiles with plaster and later with acid they used to wash the pool later on in a futile attempt to resolve the problems they created. Upon completion of the pool’s replastering, I noticed extensive debris in the pool and reported this, as well as the other problems described above to the company. At this time the company pretty much forced me to hire them for the weekly servicing of the pool under the guise that, should another company “touch the pool,” this company could not warranty the pool as any damages could be caused by another company. Under the circumstances, with the above-described defects, I acquiesced so as not to give this company a way out from resolving the issues they created. Things didn’t improve during the months this company serviced the pool, in fact, they turned for the worse as the pool developed extensive scale (calcium buildup) and algae (see photos.) The company claimed that the source of the problems was a manufacturer’s defect of the Diamond Brite plaster and told me that they had filed a claim with the manufacturer for a warranty replacement of the plaster which the company would use to replaster the pool at no cost to me. Time went by without any action and the company blaming the manufacturer’s lack of response for the delays until I contacted the manufacturer directly only to be told that no such claim existed and that no warranty registration as ever filed for my replaster project as required by the manufacturer. The manufacturer sent a representative who inspected the pool confirming, in writing, that this company did not use Diamond Brite in my pool as it was contractually agreed !! I had other companies inspect the pool without telling them anything about the issues with this company so that I would obtain as objective feedback as possible and each told me variations of the same things: The pool resurfacing was poorly done, the pool was not properly prepared prior to refiling it, the start-up was improperly done, and the chemical levels were not properly maintained in the pool which resulted in algae and, even worse, affecting the plaster’s integrity. One of such companies removed the saltwater chlorination system in April 2022 because the calcium debris in the pool damaged the system’s cell. By April 2022 I had obtained enough information to confront this company demanding a resolution to the problems. Their response was to acid wash the pool making things even worse as the pool developed mottling (permanent color variation streaks). After more of this company’s promises and excuses, I had no choice but to take this company to court ending in a settlement with its insurance company. The settlement amount was based on the estimate to repair most, not all, of the damage this company did to my pool and equipment. Angie only allows 10 photos in a review, but I have dozens of photos and documents supporting my claims."

Monthly flat rates start at $145 for a pool of 12,000-gallons or less with little to no surrounding vegetation. The price rises depending on the pool's complexity, water volume, and surrounding vegetation (It’s not the same for a screened pool as a pool with a big tree on top of it). Includes weekly visits, manual labor, chemicals and filter cleaning. Types of pools we clean: Residential In-ground concrete pool. NOT acrylic spas, commercial, above-ground, vinyl, or glass fiber pools. Our Advantage: 25+ years of experience Family Owned and Operated since 2014 Salt Pool Experts 5-star ratings on Google, Facebook, HomeAdvisor, and Yelp BBB Accredited Business A+ Insured, CPO® certification 107405 Local Women-Owned Business

Pool and spa services FAQs

You should have your spa or hot tub inspected and serviced yearly to prevent more costly repairs. Regular hot tub maintenance can save money and help keep you safe from hazards such as faulty wiring. Call a professional hot tub repair specialist, who will know what common issues to look for and have the parts and tools on hand to fix them immediately.

The cost to repair a hot tub or spa ranges from about $170 to $550, depending on the repairs needed. Some of the most common hot tub repairs include leaks, clogged filters, and tripped GFCI breakers. If it’s an electrical problem, you should contact a professional hot tub repair service. Don’t DIY electrical repairs on a hot tub, as poorly repaired wiring can make the hot tub a serious electrocution hazard.

Pool repair costs vary depending on the type of pool. Repairing an inground pool ranges from $350 to $2,700, depending on the extent of the repairs needed. Repairs to an above-ground pool usually cost $100 to $700. The most common repairs include patching or replacing the vinyl pool liner, fixing plumbing or electrical lines, and repairing pumps, filters, and other equipment.

Depending on the size and type of pool, cleaning services cost about $80 to $150 per month, or $960 to $1,800 per year. Pool maintenance and cleaning services often include:

  • Testing the pH levels of your water

  • Cleaning filters, skimmer baskets, and traps

  • Skimming surface debris from the water

  • Vacuuming the pool

  • Additional cleaning and upkeep
