Jacksonville Blinds & Shutters

Thomas was so nice and professional to work with. He met us early in the morning when we were checking on the construction of our new home. Shutters were installed 2 days ago and I love them. He and his team were professional and so nice to work with. They cleaned up after themselves as well! I would highly recommend them to anyone considering window coverings.

The blinds arrived exactly at the 2 weeks mark as I was told. They were installed immediately. Installers were clean, courteous and very fast. Excellent service!

Right from the beginning Thomas was very responsive. I received a call to set up an in-home appointment right way. He arrived on time and brought samples and photos. We walked through the house and he was very attentive to what I was looking for. He offered suggestions on how to save money and I never got the "hard sell". He then measured all the windows and doors in various spots and wrote me up a quote that was pretty much in line with what I was expecting. In the weeks between sale and delivery Thomas was very responsive to my emails regarding status update. On the day of installation, we were expecting it to take several hours, as it was 8 rooms shutters not including the blind over the patio doors. He showed up with a team. These men are a well trained team and blew thru the house like a whirlwind. That is not to say they just "threw them up", because they didn't. It is quality work. The work was completely done in 90 minutes, including caulking and cleaning and instructions on care and usage. Wow! They didn't leave so much a piece of plastic behind while unwrapping all of these blinds. With all the construction going on around my home, they were also very aware in not tracking other vendors mess into my house. I would not hesitate to use them again and would, with complete confidence, recommend them to others. And...they look BEAUTIFUL. Exactly what I wanted. Love them.

Quality if material and install is good. Had to come back due to wrong parts. Ended up with a good product

They are very professional. They bring out samples and do all the measuring. Once the shades were done they were back to install them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Although I marked a B for price, it is only because all of the window coverings are pricey no matter who does the work. I had three estimates for plantation shutters back in Oct 2014 and Jax Blinds and Shutters was in the same price point as the others but for my money Jax Blinds and Shutters were the most professional and their product and work are excellent. The cost of service stated here was for the honeycomb shades that I had installed.

Thomas arrived on time and completed the measuring very quickly. He assisted in choosing a color for the blinds and provided me with the time frame for completion. The blinds were delivered and installed within the 2 week time frame that was quoted during the initial appointment. I had a couple of minor issues with the installation but upon contacting Thomas, all my concerns were promptly addressed and rectified to my total satisfaction. The blinds made a huge difference. Based on the high level of service that was exhibited and the quality of the product I would, without hesitation, recommend Thomas and Jacksonville Blinds & Shutters to anyone wanting to upgrade their current window coverings.

My front room window is very large & was always a challenge to find window treatments. The commitment to invest in wood plantation shutters was a bit daunting. Thomas Nadeau of Jax Blinds & Shutters came to the house at my convenience, measured, provided a plethera of swatches and his reassuring wisdom. Within a few weeks, Thomas returned with his assistant, John and what seemed like 10 minutes later, transformed my front room into Key West. I swear, they were like Ninja's. So professional and accomplished in their skill! Since then, they have installed shutters in my kitchen and guest bedroom. Next is the dining room! LOVE THE PRODUCT & THE PROVIDER!!

Tom did a great job. He is the expert on shades. He helped us to pick out the best shade for our new home. He worked with us to find the best color. He installed the shades perfectly and cleaned up everything. He even helped us hang a piece of stain glass in another window. Tom went above and beyond in his service. We would highly recommend him if you need window coverings of any kind, blinds, shades, shutters, etc.

Jacksonville Blinds and Shutters did a fantastic job. The deal on Angie's list was 8 blinds at any size for $800. I could not believe it really applied to any size window, because I have several huge / oversized windows. Jacksonville Blinds and shutters measured, cut and installed them perfectly as one window. This is the most professional and knowledgeable company, and I will definitely use them, again. I highly recommend them!

Excellent service and product. Price better than all about blinds

We recently moved to Fernandina Beach from Atlanta. Working with Thomas was a pleasure. He showed up on time every time he came to my home. There was no hard sell here. I told him I would like to have shutters throughout but that I thought the cost would be too high. He gave me prices on both shutters and blinds without hard-selling the shutters. Of course, I ended up going with the blinds with the exception of the window in the master bath. Everything came in on time. The only delay was with the shutter and Thomas told me up front that it would take longer. Once he came to install them, he was in and out of the house in about 30 minutes! Everything looks beautiful! I was concerned with the afternoon sun coming into my family room through the triple sliding doors so I mentioned this to Thomas when he came last week to install the shutter in the bathroom. I appreciated that he told me to wait until the pool goes in and the screened lanai goes up because it may block some of the sun coming through those windows. Thomas was honest and up-front and I would definitely use him again!! Thank you, Thomas! Now my house is looking more like a home!

Thomas was great. He came out and gave the estimate, explained everything in detail. He made an extra trip back to the house with the samples so I could be certain on the color of the shade. Thomas replaced all the magnets on the existing shutters due to not closing properly. Approx. 1 month later I called Thomas regarding a problem with a shutter that was in the house previously. He came out and fixed the problem even though it wasn't with one of the shutters he installed. I would never use anyone else and would recommended Jacksonville Blinds and Shutters highly.

I was very impressed with Thomas Nadeau owner. He was very professional offered his expertise on my different options. The shutters are absolutely beautiful are enclosed in moulding making mounting outside casing a fabulous finished product. He also recommended a center strip for opening and closing shutters which prevents touching of shutter blades very nice feature. I also purchased soft pleated linen shades wonderful operational feature no cording just lifting at bottom handle. They showed up on schedule and installed very quickly and extremely neat.

Thomas complied with every detail promised. He was knowledgeable and professional and qualified and didn't leave a "mess" after installation. Product is pricey, but carries a 7 year warranty and there was a rebate available.

came out to give an estimate but did not have product sample of interest. explained what I was looking for and he said he did not have book on his truck but had exactly what I was looking for. promised to call meand come back out following week (this week). never heard back from him.

Thomas came to our house and provided estimates for different types of solar shades. It was important to us to have some protection from the sun but we didn't want to lose our view. Although he is the owner of the company, Thomas was involved from start to finish. Everything was completed within the timeframe Thomas gave us (even a few days early!) and he was very professional and courteous. His estimate was very reasonable compared to another we received. The installation was done within the time promised and looks great.
