A strip of dead grass appeared across the front of my lawn after a service. The manager responded to a complaint by me. He took responsibility for the dead area and said it was a new person who was no longer with the company. He said it would be repaired the following month (Oct). My contract expired and they tried to bill me for a single serve even though I had called again and complained. 4 months after the commitment to repair, it still isn't done and they we not respond to calls.

I've only been working with them for 2 months but I really don't have anything bad to say. Professional, punctual, and very knowledgable. I had a problem with my irrigation system, sprinkler pipe was busted and leaking, and Heron rep was the one who pointed outta initial consultation. It was a free consultation too. That saved me plenty of on my water bill. A little too expensive but you know how the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for". So far so good. Let's see if they stay this good for years to come. I would recommend to family and friends.

Heron's sales person Mark T , was punctual, friendly, and very knowledgeable of all their products. He took his time with us and explained each service and what the tech would come out to do. Their price was good and what we liked the most is that they mix the product right at your home for your lawn. The fertilizer and I believe the weed mix has a shelf life so they mix it at the time of the visit. I was very impressed with that. It really does explain why the previous companies product didn't seem to do the expected for our lawn and weeds. I will definitely recommend Heron to everyone. I am extremely pleased with their product and their staff. Mark R is our tech for the lawn, shrubs, and weeds. Very efficient, pleasant, and knowledgeable. We had Jose C come out to do new sprinklers in our back yard. Was in and out in no time. We purchased rotor sprinklers and what a difference than the golf sprayers. Very good product. We thank Heron for coming out right away when there was a potential situation and they rectified it promptly, and they were happy to do so.

They do a really good job, but they are a bit expensive.

We put in a new lawn of Zoysia in Jan 2012 it was put under the usual "new sod" treatment regime which seemed to be working well. Last Spring however the lawn began to deteriorate rapidly, after several round and rounds with Heron and the usual responses "you're not watering enough" which was NOT true, we were and are watering excessively trying to save it. One of the managers finally came out at my insistence and within five minutes pulled up some sod (still not rooted after a year and three months) and said here's your problem you've got grubs throughout the lawn!. they had to begin treatment all over as if the sod was new which in essence it was since all of the roots from the previous years growth had been destroyed at this point. It is now November of 2013 and we are still struggling to get parts of the lawn back into healthy shape. We've had irrigation folks out to boost the coverage and have now had to cut back to watering twice a week by command of the town we live in or face penalties. I don't doubt that Heron is one of the best amongst the larger companies (I've been through most of them and they're all terrible) but I'm at a loss to find a small private company who is willing and able to give the dedication and professionalism needed to get the job done without resorting to blaming the client. Update 04/14 Ryan the district manager has been working with us over the past year to get this problem resolved. Our lawn is almost back to the state in was in before being decimated by grubs. it's taken a long time but I will say the the response by Ryan and his team has been consistent and showed a dedication to doing the right thing.

Their customer service is great as they always have someone answering their phones and are quick to come out. We haven't had any bug issues so far. We have new sod that used to not be in the best condition, but is green and healthy now!

Exceptional. They take very good care of the the lawn and shrubs. It looks so well it is a great advertisement for them in the neighborhood.

On September 3, 2013, I found water in the carpet of my Master Bedroom closet. A plumber came out the next day to find a leak which we presumed to be coming from the adjacent bathroom. The plumber could not find a leak, and he hired the Leak Doctor the following day to find the leak. At a cost for both plumbers of $570.00, the Leak Doctor determined that there was no leak, but that there was an incorrectly placed irrigation sprinkler directly spraying the side of the house; the force of the water had compromised the mortar between the foundation and the house frame, resulting in the flood in the closet. I turned off the sprinkler head, and had to have the carpet repaired at a cost of $80.00, and holes in the stucco placed by the Leak Doctor repaired at a cost of $100. I called Heron to discuss this, and the best they could do was to schedule an appointment with their Irrigation Manager, Mr. Jeff Watson on September 9, 2013, five days after my call. On the day of the appointment he showed up late. I have a prepaid plan for irrigation maintenance to cover maintenance of all of the sprinkler heads and adjustment of the watering times. This plan costs $49 per visit, and they visit every other month. The most recent visit from the Heron irrigation person was in August 2013. Before he came, I did a walk through of my property and determined that there were nine sprinkler heads that were broken, damaged, or simply not working properly. This included the one that was aimed at the side of my house outside the Master Bedroom. Jeff Watson took the receipts for the plumbers and the carpet repair. He promised to repay me for the damage done and to cancel the remaining irrigation inspections for which I had already paid. It is now November 9, 2013, and I have not heard back from Heron. I would really like to receive a response and refund from them.

It's the best lawn care company I've had in 25 years. They are courteous, they are prompt, they know what they are doing. They know that it's still my yard. They are just great.

Carolyn is fantastic. Very thorough. Great pest control. I can see the products worrking around the house (dead bugs on front porch, etc.).

Carolyn arrived when expected. She is always very friendly and informative. She always does a very thorough job. I am very happy with the service I received. We will continue to use Heron Pest Control.

Called day before to let me know they were coming. I addressed ant problem explained to me what type the were & would. Great all of them, even the ones in the driveway crack.

Technician arrived for service at usual interval of earlier application. Spent about 20 minutes to cover all of the lawn.

I have been using them continuously since Spring of 2013. Their service is the "best" of any service company. All the service industries serving home owners. Professional, detail follow up, strong and honest. They are the modern example of "customer focussed" and "5 Star" great service, fair prices and quality people with character and values.

They did a great job, are always prompt and I would use them again.

We were pleased with this company. They came to do a free inspection on our lawn and were very through. The inspector was knowledgeable and friendly. He came to check up on the lawn several times to make sure we were satisfied with the services.

Original salesman was very personable and VERY knowledgeable His explanations of all the problems was complete and informative. The program he designed for our lawn has worked well and I was impressed that he has been back to check on the work and so was the regional manager. The actual technician that treated the lawn was completely professional, very punctual and again, very informative. Their method of customizing the treatment on site rather than the one tank for all approach is also impressive. I am very happy with this service

They arrived and immediately swept outside to remove all nests et. That may have been on the house. Next he sprayed the backyard to keep pests away. Inside he sprayed kitchen, bathrooms in all cracks and crevices. He gave me a list of everything done and findings of whatever pests he noticed.

They said the irrigation system needed work and the workman came out and said he couldn't repair it because the water pressure wasn't high enough. I called the Plumber and he checked 4 adjacent homes and the water pressure was the same as mine. A gentleman named Jermaine came out and set up an appointment to come back on Monday, 9/23 or 9/24 to determine what work was needed, both irrigation and lawn. I asked him to call me before coming out. He did not call me and left a "note" on Monday saying "he was sorry he missed me. Today is Tuesday and still no ca

I have had service since May 2013 and pleased with service , attention to detail and professionalism of technician. Best of all our lawn is looking good, no more brown patches.

Ed took extensive time and gave great recommendations for how to keep the lawn in great condition. He covered every detail and answered any question/concern that I had. We received service last week and obtained a detailed report on what was done and what was found. I even received a call before he came over as a courtesy. I look forward to what the results will bring in the lawn. Fingers crossed!

I started with them for about a year and a half ago, because my neighbors use them. I know that their lawn always look nice. I've been very happy with this company. They always come and talk to me, before they leave and go. Also, they let me know when they're here. They do the work, and they're very detailed about what they do. My lawn looks great too, so I feel like they're doing a very good job. They've been very informative and punctual. I'm very happy with them! I would definitely continue to use them in the future.

The initial visit for a quote happened within an hour because the guy was actually right nearby, which was a little earlier than originally scheduled. Keep in mind that there is an additional discount for paying up front for the entire year's service. It was a week before they were able to come and do the actual treatment, which was fine. That guy was right on time and did a great job. He explained everything as he went a long.

Didn't go very well even after 1 year or service. Just good talk with excuses. very very disappointed. cancelled all of my services, lawn care, shrub care and pest control.
