The grass became much worse then before. Got some big brown spots. They were there for months. They were coming to fix somehting but ottally failed. When i asked to replace the sod (as was given as warranty by manager when i was signing for their service) they said they do not have warranty like this. They just huge number of excuses for this (time of year, bad irrigation then many other incorrect things). I stopped paying them asking to fix the lawn. Now they just call to ask to pay for the poor service which was not done. as promised. Do not recommend them

I just looked them up and did not have any communication with them. They are an excellent company that I found in my neighborhood. They came from Orlando, almost two hours away when driving. But, they came over and did the work. After talking with many other companies, I was asked to shop the products myself , and this one was the only company that was able to do that for me. They are really professional and efficient. Overall, they have an A all across the board.

They were very good. They were very cordial and very thorough in everything they did.

Lawn was kept in good condition.

Can I say amazing! I wouldn't trust anyone else with securing my home from pests! I am more than grateful with the services I have received to date. I ordered the annual service and my specialist never ceases to amaze me.

Heron has been doing my three month treatments for the past year and are superb. They are always on time, thorough and worth the price.

I don't have any bug problems and occasionally when I do, they come right away to fumigate.

The tech replaced a dated gear mechanism control unity with a Hunter Pro-C 3 zone unit ($85 online). He also replaced one head and adjusted some others. For about $100 in parts and an hours worth of labor, they charged $368.00. I felt that $268 for an hours worth of labor was quite excessive. After the work was completed, the system still did not work. It was determined that the two solenoid/valves were bad. We were quoted $200 to replace these. This would have been $568 to get a sprinkler system operational on a zero lot line home with two tiny patches of grass. We replaced the two valves ourselves for less than $40 and could have replaced the control unity as well. Total work would have been $140 vs. $568. I take full accountability for overpaying. I knew the price going in on the control unit. I own multiple homes and typically shop work comprehensively. I have great people that perform work at a fair price. This was the end of a project that I just wanted done and I got lazy with finding a competitive bid or doing the work myself. My fault. But, it is safe to say, Herron will not be a part of my "go to subs" for future work. Other than that, the work was completed professionally, on time, the tech was courteous, and the office staff responsive.

I called them at about 2pm expressing urgent service needed because the pipe burst the night before. They arrive to my home about 3pm and repaired the sprinkler pipe by 4:30pm. The gentleman made sure the area affected was back to normal and the system worked. I was charged an additional $50 for the urgent need but I was able to use a $15 off coupon. I am very pleased with the staff and the professional service. Thanks

The sales person, Brian, and all of the technicians were right on time every time and were very professional. Brian was very helpful and straight forward with all of my questions. Lawn Care: It's only been a couple weeks since I hired them so they've only treated the lawn once. But I can already see that the weeds are going away. My lot is about 0.4 acres so it was a little pricey but fair because of the custom blend they put on the lawn and because they are conscious of the environment. I'm excited to see my lawn come back to life over the next few months. Pest Control: They put a pest control treatment on all of the hinges of every cabinet and door. Also treated the exterior of the house and took down most of the spider webs. They treated the mailbox too. Saw some bugs in the house the day they treated but nothing much since. They have a very competitive price for this service. Interior Flea and Tick (Part of Pest Control): Had to take everything off of the carpets so they could spray them and had to be out of the house for at least 2 hours afterward. They did a great job, I haven't seen a flea in the house since they treated. Sprinklers: They fixed the broken head, adjusted where the sprinklers spray, and adjusted the watering times. I thought it was weird that some of the times they programmed into the timer were times that I can't water because of watering restrictions. So far I'm very happy with the quality of the service.

Good customer service ethics, very responsive to the couple issues i had over the past year of service. I had a small issue when they changed techs on me, the tech that had done our street had been doing for a few years and was one of the main reasons we started using them for our shrub service. A couple issues that came up with some of the shrubs not being sprayed were handled immediately with multiple follow up calls and emails from management. Mistakes happen and how this company responds to them has overall impressed me to give them an A rating on Angies List. Our shrubs do look much better this spring compared to springs past, i have to give credit to their maintenance and quality of chemicals and products used on them. Heron Team keep up the good work. TO members reading this, I guarantee to update my review if problems arise as my contract with them continues

My lawn is so green. It has never looked so beautiful. They are very professional.

I tell you they are wonderful. The lawn stays green all the time and as far as weeds go, you never see any. The lawn is healthy and beautiful. I tried several others and I did not care for them. This is going to be our first full year with them. We got them part way through because the person we had, had to stop. Since they started, it is wonderful. Their fee depends on the size of the place and how much grass one has. So it is different for everybody but it is fair. What they do different is, they mix their products before they put them on your lawn. They are always here when they say they are going to be here.

Heron Lawn and Pest Control has been taking care of our lawn (which is Zoysia grass)and pest control for over a year now. They do a good job, respond to calls or request in a timely manor. We have sitters staying in our home and have requested they send all work reports to us and not leave them on the door. They are quick to call/respond to any questions or request. Both of the workers are patience in answering my question, which I appreciate.

We have them on a contract. It is about $26/month and they come every other month. If there is ever a problem they promptly come and address it.

I have been using them for about five years. They are very clean and pleasant. They are expensive, but I do feel like I get what I pay for with having three other lawn companies before them. Anytime I have a problem, I just dial their number and they almost seem to recognize me and make it very personal. They were able to come out the next day after I recently called them for a squirrel problem. Their services and business is very complete and they have great communication between each department. They are outstanding!

They come as scheduled. Billed electronically. I still have weeds in my yard, understanding weather, etc. issues. Versus other companies that friends use, they are high priced and not completely convinced other companies couldn't do at least as good as they are doing now. I am usually not at home when they treat grass so I have had hardly any interaction with them since they started servicing our lawn. Everything beachside seems to be very expensive in Daytona.

With Heron you get great service and great results but at a price. You can expect to pay a bit more than the competition but you will have noticable results. They perform both our lawn service and pest control. We pay around 80-88 every time they come out (usually once every other month). If you want results no matter the cost, go with Heron. If you are more money conscious, shop the competition.

Incredibly dishonest. Tried to pull a bait and switch on irrigation repair. I called them on it. At which time they scrambled to give ridiculous excuses. All that and they tried to intimidate my wife when she was home alone with my 2 and 4 year olds.

They would have received an A rating but there seemed to be a disconnect between the salesman that came to the house and the technician that provided the service. Had I not had the original order from the salesman I would have been charged another $100.00 by the technician on top of what I had already paid the salesman. Other than that they were great.

First, to expanded upon limited options Angie's provides -- in my mind, I differentiate between those who come to my house and the "back office" functions. For example, the "professionalism" rating above is for the field workers. The office staff, so far, would rate a D. On price -- that's the charge for when they come to do lawn/shrubs every other month. The irrigation work was over $1k -- but one would have to know extent of work to judge value. When I was still having trouble with the lawn after 2 years, I opted to have Heron look at the yard based on high ratings on Angie's list. Jason was thorough, explained well, answered questions pretty directly, and provided a detailed proposal (and his observations pretty much matched mine -- his exceeding mine of course). So, opted to give them a try even though I thought it was a bit pricey but you get what you pay for and I didn't want to spend less and not address the problems. The irrigation work went fine and the new heads work fine. The installer really knew what he was doing and walked me through everything. The lawn looks good and they seem to have addressed the major problem. Did have to spray some dollar weeds a few weeks after their first treatment but I attribute that to their just starting -- weeds haven't survived for centuries by not being hardy. The shrubs look better too. After a week or so after the irrigation work, noticed one head seemed to have a problem. Over the next week, tested it around 9 times and it worked properly only 3 (usually would not pop up or close properly). Called Heron explained the problem (I guessed that it was just a bad sprinkler head and simply needed to be replaced). Gave exact location and said that I didn't need to be home for work to be done. Was told it would be scheduled. 2 weeks later, no repair. Take picture of problem and email it as attachment to Heron -- never receive reply. Weeks later, contact Heron again -- excuse is that they left message for me and I didn't call back. Well, I didn't get a phone message and per earlier discussion, no appointment was necessary and the location had been accurately described (easy since it was last one in a zone and right at driveway). Finally, gets fixed. In early January, crew arrived to do every other month treatment (they asked if there were any problems I needed them to check -- commendable approach). A week later, my credit card is charged. Over a week after that, Heron sent me a bill ("please remit") for the same amount. When I objected to the double billing, I was told it had "crossed in the mail." Disingenuous in my view -- their charging my credit card did not involve me mailing them anything. A simple, we messed up and will fix procedure that resulted in double billing would have been a better response. The disparity between the field workers and the office is striking. Heron needs the office staff to perform more like its field staff -- especially when their jargon on Angie's says they want to exceed customers' expectations.

Heron treats St Augustine grass but does not treat Bahia grass which is what the builders are putting in the back yards of new homes. You have the choice of re-sodding your back yard, getting another company to treat the Bahia, or doing it yourself. Heron needs to reconsider there decision not to treat Bahia.

We’ve used them for 15 years, and they come out regularly. They do pest control as well. They are very good. We always have a nice lawn. They don’t do yard cleanup. Our lawn has never looked so good. They even come back out at no charge if something needs to be done again. They write down everything that they do when they come out so that you know.
