Very happy with service and condition of lawn, looks better than it ever has...

The repair was completed to my satisfaction and in a timely manner.

The sprinklers that the people who built my house put in the worst sprinklers ever! The sprinklers would waste a lot of water and most of that water was either watering the street or the sidewalk. Our grass was dying, and we had no clue of what was going on. Frank who would come out every 2 or three months to put fertilizer noticed that our grass was dying in different areas of our yard and called us to arrange an appointment for him to come out and to figure out why grass was dying. He figured out why the grass was dead in certain spots and he told us that with the sprinklers we currently have, we were watering our lawn for 18 hours a week. He recommend their MP rotators so we decided to get some of those rotators for our yard. One of their people came out to replace them. He put in their MP rotators and combined some of the zones we have. So now our grass is looking so much better. We had tried TruGreen before but they didn't care about what type of sprinklers we have or how to make our grass to look better. All they cared about was putting in their chemicals for everybody's grass and do not even tell you that you have weeds in your yard or your sprinklers. We have Zoysia grass which turns brown in the winter and TruGreen asked my husband if they could basically spray paint our grass so it would look green and healthy but it really wasn't. I would definitely recommend Heron who wants their grass to be healthy and fix whatever problems your lawn or shrubs have

The price they charge is pretty expensive depending upon on what service they're doing. I have a small lawn what they used to call zero lot land because I have a small house my thing in the back is larger. I have gone through so many companies for the last 18 and half years you pay good money and you're not getting what you're paying for. The grass doesn't look good and there leaves in your lawn and all these other stuff and this company they're high price but my lawn never look as great as it does now. You pay them for the service you want and it just show.

We had new sod put down last march so Heron couldn't put treatments on it since we had to water it for one whole month. They ruined my lawn. The moment they started spraying we have had mushrooms growing every day. In spots they could not spray, there are no mushrooms there. Heron told me it is the sod and the farm the sod came from. It doesn't make sense to me that where they sprayed is where mushrooms are growing and where they did not spray, there are no mushrooms. I was told it's the rain, sun, and humidity that is causeing the mushrooms. They came out to put fertilizer down and burnt holes in my new sod as well. I just ended a year contract with them. I would not recommend them. I gave an N/A for price because I'm not sure what is considered a good price versus a bad one. They do not call before they show up.

I last used their service yesterday and we had a one year subscription with them.

John came out to our house a couple of days after I inquired about their service on line. John was very polite and professional. He returned a few days later with Jason to inspect the house. (We had suspected that we had dry wood termites after seeing a small swarm of termites in our garage.) Jason located the area that the termites were contained to. He advised that we treat the affected area rather then tenting the whole house, because there was no other evidence of the termites in the rest of the house. Both John and Jason explained, in detail, about dry wood termites and how they would treat the area in the garage and around the outside of the house with Termidor (termiticide/insecticide). The following week Jay came out to our house and administered the treatment. All three gentlemen, John, Jason and Jay were very polite and professional. (We joked that Heron only hires people whose first name starts with a "J"). Thank you guys. We would and will hire Heron in the future. S. Ferrell

So far we have really enjoyed their services. Everything was easy and great. They are top rated and I can see why. The guys were very knowledgeable and we were quite pleased.

It seemed a little pricey. He was fantastic. Jason was very good, professional, down to Earth. Brandon was great with the irrigation. They knew their stuff! They knew what was best and were very knowledgable. If price was a little different, I would say yes.

They do a pretty good job. We still have some issues with the back yard. Overall we are satisfied with their service and have recommended to our neighbors.

They are very personable, knowledgeable - explain how they will treat the are, thorough and came back out and re-treated.

The lawn had issues with weeds and was just not as lush and green as it had been. Howard's visit to evaluate and provide a proposal was as professional and thorough as anything I have seen. When we decided to retain their services for continued lawn treatment he drew out the entire landscape and made specific notes regarding what problems were evident and where. The technicians arrived as scheduled. In the short period of time since beginning treatment there is already a significant improvement in the appearance of the lawn. The service techs explain everything that they see and what they will be doing. Also, the service consultants do a drive by between treatments to check the lawn and, if necessary, arrange to treat any issues. There were some significant repairs needed on the irrigation system which were performed as promised. Their online account information is great. They show all services and transactions as well as follow up visits with specific notes regarding what was done. The level of professionalism and quality of work from everyone we have had contact with is extraordinary and I would highly recommend Heron.

We have been very happy with them. We have had other service providers for this work and so far they are the best.

My experience with Heron Lawn & Pest Control has been good. They take care of the lawn. We're hoping it's going to grow back better than it's been. I've been having problems maintaining it without their service.

Recently, our lawn was treated for weeds and the technician applied a little too much weed killer to an area. After noticing about a week later the appearance of brown spots in certain areas and fearing our lawn had been killed off, we notified the company and a Supervisor came out and reassured us that our lawn would recover once treated with an application of urea. Within several weeks our lawn was back to its deepest green color. We were thrilled with the results.

One of Heron's representatives came out and spent a good two hours with me. He was in no rush. We talked about the type of grass I had and the problems I was experiencing with the lawn. He gave me recommendations as to how to handle the various problem areas. He examined my sprinkler system and told me what was causing some of the areas not to get sufficient water. I went ahead and signed up for their service. Yes they are higher than the others. They set up my initial treatment the very next day and the technician left a very detailed note as to what he did and what he observed with the lawn. The service staff called me a couple times to ask about how the lawn was doing. I do still have dollar weeds, but not as much as before. I know it will take a little time to go away for we had quite a bit. I am giving them time. But thus far I do not have any complaints. It should be noted that they do not come out monthly but every other month. However, according to the representative, if we have any problelms in between the bi-monthly visits we can call and they will come back out. We have not had to do so thus far. We have only had two treatments so far.

On going but so far so good.

They are very good. I ask for a call before they come so I can unlock the gate and they do that every time. They come when they are supposed to and I haven't had any problems with ants since they started treating. They are very efficient and they always call when they are supposed to. They are very nice over the phone. When they say somebody will be out, they are out. The price is very good. They didn't do a hard sell when they came out the first time. They were very accommodating.

Heron Lawn & Pest Control gave me a 15 percent discount. I had another pest control company before them but the first guy who came from Heron Lawn & Pest Control was extremely knowledgeable in fact I think he was an entomologist. He knew everything about pests and weeds. I think he has some sort of a degree and when you ask a question he can tell you. He will told me how to kill frogs. They have been excellent, they show up on time, they send an email or call before they come and they come in and do their thing.

So far, they have been great. Dale, the sales guy, did an excellent job of explaining the services and the issues at work on my lawn. Company was real flexible since I am in the process of re-soding portions of the lawn.

My daughter and her husband were renting my home while I was out of state for a year. During that time they had a new baby AND two demanding jobs, and the lawn was neglected. The sprinkler system quit working at some point, the weeds took hold, and it looked bad. REALLY BAD. Neglected to the point where I started getting hate mail from the HOA, demanding that I re-sod the yard in the middle of a drought or they'd sue me. I called Heron in April, 2012, to give me an estimate on saving the yard, which, I agree, really did look awful, and engaged them to fix the sprinkler system and start a pest and fertilizer care plan. (The total spent includes sprinkler repairs of $260.) The technician agreed with me that re-sodding was not necessary, and assured me that with proper fertilizer and pest control and adequate water, the large dead areas would revive and the weeds would disappear. It worked exactly as promised, and the yard went from being threatened with legal action to getting complimented as the nicest on the block. The HOA manager hasn't been heard from in almost a year. (Oh, and the neighbors who were intimidated into re-sodding dead spots during the drought? The sod died. They've signed on with Heron too.) I am very happy with their service. They are reliable, professional and very nice; their advice was sound, and the service did exactly what they said it would.

We had just had a new lawn installed and within 3 weeks, half of it was eaten by something. My neighbor called me at work and told me her lawn service "Heron" was out and did I want them to look at it. I said yes, left work and drove straight home to meet with them too. They were so sympathetic and showed me exactly what was having its way with our new grass. My husband was out of town and i had to make a decision. Heron told me what the initial fee would be to treat, it was reasonable, I paid it and then contracted Heron to continue treatment. Heron Lawn and Pest Control have been very prompt with their service and if we are home they explain everything. We continue with our contract with Heron lawn and pest Control to this day. Heron has been a very responsive company. I would have a dirt lot if Heron Lawn and Pest Control had not intervened.
