I did not wind up using the deal because he could not come out as soon as I needed, but he was very professional, responsive, and even called me when he had a cancellation which I appreciated very much. Unfortunately, I had already asked someone else to do the job I needed.

They were very good. They got the problem solved with my drain and did a great job with it.

Chris was great. Very informative, got to the bottoms of some pesky leaks and had everything fixed in 90 minutes. Family owned, priced fair, quality work. Hard to ask for more.

Explained the parts faulty for causing the toilet to constantly run, explained how flappers work and why they are replaced every few years.

Noticed an overflow of water on the bathroom floor from the toilet. Called Tatum Plumbing for urgent help. Chris came to my home within 30 minutes, replaced the valve and tighten the toilet bowl bulb and toilet. Chris was absolutely a pleasure to have at my home. He was friendly and down to earth. I would refer Glen Tatum Plumbing to everyone but Chris must come back to do all my plumbing repairs.

Had him also check the toilet in the master bathroom as there seems to be a leak - although not visible on the floor. He recommended to change out the stuff in the toilet tank and would run in the region of $240. I declined.

I called Glenn Tatum Plumbing. I spoke with Chris, their serviceman. Although he was on a job, he was able to adjust his schedule around so that our problem could be resolved ASAP. Chris was professional, and explained what did and did not need to be done. The cost was in-line with the fine service.

They came out only hours after we called and promptly looked at the problem, gave an estimate and fixed it all in about 2 hours.

He came and done the estimate and was able to perform services the same day. He was fabulous. We are thrilled and so pleased with his services. We will be Glenn Tatum customers for life. We could not be happier. He will be the one and only plumber we use from now on!!!

The entire process was excellent. Prompt e mail and followup phone call to establish date and time of service. Arrival was exactly within window stated. Very courteous, friendly, and provided great detail. Work performed efficiently with no mess. Would definitely use the same service again.

Call was returned very promptly and service was arranged as required. Contractor arrived on time and costs were as advised. I would recommend this company.

He was fantastic -- did everything I asked of him and make suggestions. Just what I would expect of an Angie's List professional.

I already knew that we had a leak under the house and so I was able to give him specifics regarding the leak. He confirmed it and said that it was between two pipes where the leak was. He took photos of before the leak and after his repair. He was very courteous, on time, explained everything and could prove that he completed the job. I was very satisfied.

Absolutely first class. They replied the day we bid for their services and gave a day and approximate time a plumber would do the work. The plumber rang first thing on the day concerned (as they said he would) and gave the time of arrival. He turned up exactly when he said he would. On being shown the work to be done he gave a verbal quote (as they said he would) and then proceeded to complete the work quietly, non intrusively and tidily. He then provided a written receipt reflecting the advertised discount. We strongly recommend the services of this company. Pity there aren't more of them.

After having four plumbers take a look at our bathroom Chris was the only one that diagnosed the problem immediately. Now, I don't have a leak coming from my bathroom upstairs to my master closet!

This was a Big Deal which cost me 70 dollars to Glen Tatum Plumbing plus the Big Deal price of 39 dollars going to Angie's List. Chris arrived on time and called 30 min before arriving. He assessed the toilet performance and then replaced the tank works. He was done quickly and left no mess behind. Now I have fast quiet flushing - just like new.

We were happy with the company's response time, professionalism, price and follow-up. We would definitely recommend them!

Chris, responded to my inquiry call within 30 minutes. We set an appointment for the next afternoon and he was right on time. He stated the problem was only that the bolt needed to be tightened and made sure everything else was OK with that toilet and even checked the second toilet in the house to make sure it was alright. I wasn't charged, which shows the true integrity of Chris and Glenn Tatum Plumbing Services. I will tell this story to all my neighbors so they too will have the name of a reliable and honest plumber.

Well I might be being rash on my experience, because we ended up paying way more then was originally quoted to us because they say they hit the water table so they had to put an elephant hump in our yard. And our original quote of around 4000 went right up to 11000. So I am now very in happy with my yard, and I still can't see how it was needed.

Chris arrived on time & after looking my water heater over explained to me that my heater was an trailer heater and only a 30 gal. tank. My offer was for a 40 gal. standard at $559. He explained that mine was a special order one that would take a couple days to get in and would run over $1,100. I chose to not go forward at this time as mine still works fine and there wasn't any savings to be had. Chris was very pleasant & helpful. .

Tatum Septic Services asked for a deposit on the work - approximently one third - this made me nervous as any time I have done this there has been an issue with work being preformed at all or timely. But this was not the case here for which I am very grateful. As a female home owner incapable of preforming most home repairs I feel I am at the mercy of contractors. All aspects of job went exactly as Mr. Tatum and Dusty said it would - I travel so most of our correspondence was done by phone. They texted me photos as work progressed. They were prompt - always there when said they would be - work was done in exactly the time frame given - and the yard was left exactly as promised. I would highly recommend them. Very professional. And I admit I did complain about paying ahead - but only because of several issues, including people hired off Angie's list, where work was never done or done poorly and I have lost my deposit. But I see thier side also and when I checked references they were given glowing reviews by Bowen Plumbing who also is a company who does outstanding work and I would take their advice. Glad I did!

Overall went very well. I would use them again to pump a septic tank. Gave us a quote to replace our drain field that was higher than other quotes we received, and told us that they would give us a discount if we called back by the end of the week.

When I first contated Glenn Tatum Septic, Dusty, Mr. Tatums assistant, came to look at my yard. He asked questions, looked around and gave me an estimate. He also said it would take two weeks to get a permit for the job. He was very friendly and he explained everything that needed to be done in detail. I had been shopping around and I got really high estimates from other companies, including one company who told me that I could not put another drain field in my back yard, so they would have to relocate it to my front yard and it was very difficult and expensive. One company gave me a quote over the phone without even coming to see the job site. Dusty gave me a set price of $3,500 and that`s exactly how much I finally paid. Mr. Tatum said he needed a $1,000 deposit and I gave it to him and the job was done 3 weeks from when I gave them the deposit. It would have been sooner but I could not be home that week. I can`t thank Mr. Tatum, Dusty and his other assistant enough. They did everything so professionally and honest and they went above and beyond for me. When I asked Mr. Tatum for references, he gave them to me right away and I called those folks and they also gave me a glowing review of him. If and when I need him again, I will certainly call them again and I hope he uses me as another reference because he earned it and he deserves it.

Mr. Tatum was among 3 companies that I called. He returned my call immediately, came by two days later to inspect and give me an estimate. The job was scheduled to begin 4 days later and was begun on time, finished on time and without any additional cost. Mr. Tatum and his employee were polite and friendly and careful with the surrounding grass and flowers. I highly recommend using this company without any reservations.
