Dusty was great! He explained everything , including the hard sell tactics of some companies in the septic business! Glen Tatum Plumbing was fast, professional, competent, and certainly affordable - Dusty charged me half the price of a service call because they were only there for short time (because - A-1 Septic- there was nothing wrong in the first place!). I'll recommend Glen Tatum Plumbing, and use them myself in the future.

He came, checked out the bathroom commode, went to his truck and got a snake and removed the metal commode freshener. He was in and out in less than an hour. I would definitely use him again.

It went well. He was very nice and professional. He knew exactly what the problem was. He did the work efficiently. The deal saved me money. He warranties his work for an additional month.

Chris brought a new part for the toilet and it was fixed in no time.....no charge for a follow-up visit....in and out quickly and neatly. And he had his darling son with him who was "learning the ropes". Great company......!!!!!

Arrived on time, wore the booties in the house, assessed what needed to be done, explained everything to me and provided an estimate of the cost prior to beginning the work. Very professional and really knows the plumbing business.

Chris was on time; he is very pleasant to do business with. He has been here before when I had a water leak under our home. I would and plan on using them again.

I have paid $35.00 and got no service. What is up with that? Who should send me a refund? I understand that the provider may charge more than $35.00 but $100.00+ is not what I an afford. I gave them a F on overall performance because that is the only thing the form would take. It truth they may be an excellent company. I really would like my $35.00 back . I would like to know if these specials are not really the cost that was advertised.. And is Angie's list now charging for services?

Chris was personable and presentable....I will definitely call him again if I have any plumbing problems. His punctuality and professionalism were refreshing.

He was quite expensive. The plumbing repair that we had was substantially more than the certificate that I bought. In addition to that certificate, it was an extra $220.

I contacted Glenn Tatum Plumbing Services Inc through Angie's List on 5/28/2014 & 6/5/2014 and received NO REPLY both times. I think I gave them ample opportunity to get back to me. Them not wanting my business is the only conclusion I can come to, so I will grant them that. I will be looking for another plumbing company.

Arrived as scheduled and made repairs. Complete job in about 45 minutes and was gone. Very efficient and professional in expertise.

We thought we might have a problem with our septic tank. They came right out within a couple of hours. Found a clogged filter, they cleaned it and pumped the tank. They recommended two new easy access covers and showed me how to clean the filter in the future.

We took the deal that included a service call of $60 and $50 credit toward repairs and paid $39.Chris came out and diagnosed and replaced a cylinder in the shower handle to allow the hot water to run. The repair took about an hour and a half because Chris did not have the correct tool and had to improvise. We paid a total of $259 ($220 + $39) after our $50 discount. The invoice stated $270 before the $50 credit with no mention of the $39 on the invoice. I called Chris and asked for a breakdown of parts and labor. I also asked about the $39 not on the invoice. He said that it was an Angie?s List charge and they did not get any part of that cost. He also stated that he would have to call me back with the breakdown. Two days later I called Chris and asked for the breakdown again. He made a point of telling me he had not talked with anyone at his office. Then he said that they charge a flat rate and it did not matter if the job took 5 minutes or 5 hours it would be the same price just as a car repair would be. (However, car repair shops separate parts and labor even when using flat rates since the flat rates only apply to labor.) He also said that there is no breakdown of parts and labor and the service call charge was deducted from the price. This was a different story from our previous conversation and we are not sure as to why he could not have told us this fact two days ago. In the ?Fine Print? of the deal it says ?Big Deal covers labor only, materials not included? which implies a separation between parts and labor and refutes Chris? statement that there is only a ?flat rate? and no separation. We checked Home Depot for a price on the cylinders and they run from $4 to $11. A comparable new shower faucet would run about $150. The implication is that we paid $259 to replace an $11 cylinder when we could have had a brand new faucet for almost half the cost we paid for the repair. The repair charge would have been $330 without any discounts. We made a grave error in not getting an estimate first. Other service technicians we have dealt with in the past have always told us when the repairs would cost more than a new replacement and naively trusted that would be the case. So, anyone reading this and thinking of using Glenn Tatum Plumbing, please ask for an estimate first, then make sure it is legally enforceable. The 5% senior discount does not apply to their deals and if a credit card is used additional charges will be added. One final note, we believe this business demonstrates questionable ethics.

I contacted him and he never replied. After him calling back multiple times to schedule an appointment, he never called back again.

It went well. He needed more information to diagnose the problem, which would require breaking into the wall. He will be calling back with an estimate for the work.

He was very professional, he checked everything he had to check and he didn't find anything wrong with any of the stuff in the house which is great. Everything was fine, he came and he was knowledgeable of what to do.

Chris let me know areas that needed attention. He was not pushy in selling services. There were no serious issues. He was friendly and on time. I would hire them in the future if I needed plumbing services.

It went very well. They repaired a broken spout in my tub and the repair was to my satisfaction.

I called Chris at Glenn Tatum Plumbing Service to give me an estimate on the cost of installing a hot water heater that we had purchased. He quoted me an amount for installation and that was the amount I paid. He estimated that it would be 2 hours to install and it only took 1 1/2 hours. When Chris took the new hot water heater out of the box he noticed that it was dented, he suggested contacting the store we purchased it from to get a refund or a discount. I did call the store and they were able to give me a discount. I had used Chris from Glenn Tatum Plumbing Service just the month prior using Angie's List coupon and he had done such a great job I called him back.

I was upfront about the service I needed (an ice maker repair). Glenn Tatum's company was quickly responsive and unfortunately could not perform that service. I appreciate his prompt response.
