Very good experience all the way around. Chris stayed in touch with me, set up a convenient time, was there on time, did the work quickly and did a great job. Using Glenn Tatum through Angie's List saved me quite a bit of money, and I know it helps them if Angie's users recommend them to other people. I will definitely do that. Highly recommended all the way around.

The plumber arrived about 15 minutes late but, called earlier to let me know this would happen. It was no big deal. He quickly diagnosed the problem in 5-10 minutes and gave me an estimate. The price was very reasonable compared to other plumbers we have used previously on other repairs. He did have to leave to get a part half way through the repairs but, again this was no problem. The whole thing took about 1 hour. We are very pleased and will use this company in the future.

Went great, arrived at the very beginning of the time window and were very professional and friendly.

First let me explain the issue: small toy flushed down toilet. My Issue: purchased voucher for 39$ that included 50$ of labor and service call. Called to schedule appt. was told this is not for quick service call, call back in a couple of days. Took 5 days from voucher purchase, finally got appt, toilet was augered, toy flushed through, 20min work. I was charged another 47$ for labor for total of 86$. I called other companies was told could get next day service and could clear toy with service call charge 75$. Bottom line: don't waste your time with these vouchers, more hassle than their worth. Just call regular plumber and get next day service for less price. I suggest Shamrock Plumbing from Angie's list.

I discovered that there was a leak under my kitchen sink when I was digging in the back of the cabinet for something and found the entire cabinet floor flooded, wet-warped and greatly damaged from water. It had apparently been leaking for quite some time from an old reverse osmosis system that hadn't been used in years. My HomeServe water line contract did not cover this so I checked with Angie's List. I saw that Glenn Tatum Plumbing was offering a Deal so I called them to confirm the price and to get an estimate for the final cost. Unfortunately to get the Deal I'd have to get on a waiting list of approx.10 days. Everyone wants the Deal so I can understand why they can't give all Deals same-day service. At the rate the lines were leaking I couldn't wait that long. So I asked what the "ASAP Appointment" would cost and was given an estimate of $133. I agreed and about an hour later Chris and Brad arrived and went right to work. They were very personable, knowledgeable and professional. They had the job wrapped up in a little over an hour and stuck to the quoted price of $133, which did include a 5% Angie's List member discount. It's great to have that little emergency over with as well as to have the storage space back again after removal of the reverse osmosis system. I would definitely recommend Glenn Tatum Plumbing and will use them again if the need arises. Hopefully I'll be able to catch them on an Angie's List Deal when it's not such an urgent matter. ORDERED CALLED THE NEXT DAY TO GET APPPOINTMENT. SAID IN TRUCK AND CALL RIGHT BABK 9/30 NEVER CALLED BACK I HAD 2 NON FUNCTIONING TOLETS, BUT THEY NENER KNEW BECAUSE NO CALL NO WAY TO RUN A SERVICE BUSINESS. CALLED ANOTHER PLUMBER AND JOB DONE NEXT DAY.

He came on time and did the work good

They took too long to contact me after I purchased the deal and I had already found someone else to do the work. He was very informative when I spoke with him, just took to long to get back to me.

Husband tried a do it yourself bathroom faucet replacement. Turned off the valve under sink, but the pipe burst at the wall sending gallons of water per minute into the bathroom on a Saturday morning. Luckily, we had the tool to turn off the water main at the street to stop the flow before there was too much flooding, but needed a weekend plumber. Contacted Chris at Glenn Tatum Plumbing service. He was at a family function with his children, but was at our house within an hour to fix the pipe. Not sure what his regular rates are, but understood the $180 fee for a relatively easy, quick job being that it was not during regular business hours. Thanks Chris! Will surely call you again for any plumbing needs.

I had purchased a big deal for the service, and I thought they overcharged me. It was expensive. They did a good job. The disposal was there, they just had to reattach it. They did a quick job on it. Their professionalism, and clean up was very good. There is still standing water in the disposal, because I made a big deal about doing some of the plumbing. It took them forever to schedule an appointment.

Excellent. It took just a couple of days to respond and schedule the appointment. But they offered several choices that worked, and were punctual meting that scheduled time. The technician was very pleasant and professional, and had the issue taken care of very quickly. He took extra precautions to wear booties in the house to avoid tracking any messes. Overall very positive.

NOTICE: This provider charges a FLAT RATE for work which may be shocking in terms of the actual time spent on the project. What may appear as an Angie's List "Deal" may be less competitive had you priced out the service directly. The provider still charged us $110 after $50 "discount" PLUS the $40 Angie's List Big Deal cost. In total, $150 for 45 minutes of work just to swap out a faucet using the Big Deal. They said they normally charge approximately $210 for this service. Another upsetting item was the fact that they wanted to charge me a "handling fee" (a.k.a. surcharge) for using my credit card to compel me to use cash/check. ** **THIS PRACTICE IS ILLEGAL IN FLORIDA! Statute: Fla. Stat. Ann. § 501.0117(1) (West) ** While I felt the provider did an acceptable job, I would recommend that you investigate their pricing and call around BEFORE you purchase the Angie's List Deal so you're not surprised with the after-the-fact pricing. Other than the pricing, I felt that the provider did a nice job and was very professional.

He knew what was causing the problem and replaced the gasket. I have had no further problem with the commode. I would call him for any plumbing problems.

We were fortunate to get an "Angie's Deal". We had a couple of e-mails between us, then a couple of phone calls. Since we live out of state and could not meet with the contractor directly we needed to coordinate between him and our renter. Fortunately, all went very smoothly. We had great phone contact, the service was very friendly and responsive. And......best of all our renter was very pleased. Glen called when the work was complete, explained everything he did and gave us some suggestions. We were very happy with this experience and would definitely recommend.

Showed up right on time. Had all of the gear needed to do the job. He ran into some problems because this condo unit never had the problem drain access installed on the outside. Eventually, he was able to resolve the issue by using the sink drain access. He pulled a rootball from the system which was so large it almost did pass through the pipe. Everything was working perfectly. He advised of the additional repairs that will need to be done to the drain line outside the unit. Since our condominium association maintains the plumbing outside the condo, I didn't have him schedule the repair as the management company has their on contractors they use. The plumber left everything if perfect condition sand cleaned up the area in which they were working. The price may sound a little high, but I don't think it was because of no drain access, it took three hours for them to complete the job. Had this been a new unit with proper plumbing, it would have been much less labor intensive and would have cost significantly less. I will definitely call Glenn Tatum Pluming should I need any additional work... and I give then an A rating .. on everything. Excellent. I bought this service with one of Angie's great deals and it included a 50 dollar discount which was shown on the itemized bill and no 80 dollar 'show up' fee as a I bought the deal for $39 dollars. This is my first experience with Angie's list. I'm very pleased.

Went well. The part for my toilet was not available at any local suppliers so he drove far away to get it. The actual fixing/replacement took less than 30 minutes and everything seems to be in great shape thus far. He told me the exact price before he came and did not charge me any more for the extra time to get the part.

I don’t recall any troubles with scheduling. He was unable to complete the work on what we had wanted to have him do. We didn’t have the correct components to install a new sink in at the time. He was able to install the new toilet insides as I had all of the parts available for him. The plumber did share his disappointment in how there was some facts left out of the fine print for the Big Deal. We liked him and would consider hiring him again.
