Apopka Appliance

Our stove went out on Saturday night and I could not see what was wrong. On Sunday I scheduled service for Tuesday. Arnold, the owner, came out Tuesday afternoon and looked at our stove. He determined the issue was the circuit board. Cost to replace the part was approximately $356 parts/labor plus tax and initial $80 service call to diagnose. Arnold checked with his store and they had a slightly newer used model of our stove in stock. It was also the same color. We agreed on a price that was lower than the repair would have been AND the replacement stove came with a 90 day warranty from Arnold. They brought the replacement stove in about an hour and took the broken one away. I am very pleased with my transaction with Arnold and Apopka Appliance. He could have replaced the part and charged me but he gave me all the options available and let me choose. The old stove may have had more problems that led to the circuit board failure and a new circuit board could have also failed and I would be no further to a solution and out more money. For less money than the possible repair I got a newer stove with a warranty delivered and the old one hauled away. Great service by all three men. I will use them again.

Mr. Edwards was prompt, efficient and professional. He arrived within the time frame he gave me with all the parts he needed and made the repairs very quickly. All the while, we had a very pleasant conversation. I was very pleased with the job he did and the way he conducts himself!.

Provider inspected refrigerator and found that the fan's motor needed to be replaced. He called his office and was able to order new part for me. Provider came back the following day and installed new part. Now my refrigerator is working as expected.

A pervious factory technician had looked at out clothes washer, and stated that it needed a new timer, and gas us an estimate of over $400 for the part and installation if he did the work. We were able to purchase a new factory part on own for one-third less that what we were quoted, and the installation was more than 75% cheaper than was we were quoted (the usual "book rate"). While no other merchant that was highly rated on Angie's List in our immediate area ever called us back after we left voice messages and sent emails, this merchant made himself available within 2 hours of our contacting him by phone. There was no additional charges because it was Saturday. This merchant installed the part that we had obtained on our own. He was not certain that the cause of our clothes washer issue was related to a "timer", but he did install it for us. While checking a pressure hose, it looked like there was a small crack in the hose near a coupling. While further checking it our, this small plastic piece connect to the pressure hose broke. This merchant immediately took ownership, without making excuses about something being wrong with the part, and a new pressure value will be installed the first of the week at now cost to us. This merchant was a gentlemen and professional.

I was so impressed with Mr. Edwards He is a kind, honest gentleman. i learned so much valuable information during his visit to service my dishwasher. He showed up several hours after I called his company. His office staff was very friendly and efficient. He had fair pricing and I will surely call Apopka Appliances in the future.

The services were prompt, efficient, and didn't charge for the repair but the service call.

My dryer's still working, so it went pretty darn well!

The work was never completed. The refrigerator still leeks water on the floor.

Apopka Appliance did not respond to my Angie's List inquiry, I had to call to find out why. The person that answered the phone did not say "Apopka Appliance" just said "Hello". Then, against my better judgement, I scheduled a vist for Friday 09/26/14 between 9:30 and 11:30 am. When no one had called or arrived by noon, I left my house. A gentleman called twice very late in the afternoon and left two voicemails with many different excuses including a death in the family. He also said he was calling to see if his technician had arrived. I think he maybe should have called his technician for the answer to that question...which would have been a resounding NO!

An amazing experience! Arnold, the owner, was kind enough to spend his time with me over the telephone on a Saturday morning to diagnose the issue with my non-cooling Kitchenaid Refrigerator - with his help and knowledge I was able to solve the issue without a service call - I am so grateful for his expertise! Would call this company in a heartbeat to take care of any appliance related issues in the future!

The quality of their work was great. They did a good job.

They were able to fix it. I believe it was a clogged drain. The reason I have them an F in professionalism us because when I went to open the door to let them in I overheard the owner yelling at his brother who was with him. Once they came in the house and started. Working on the washer, one if the gentlemen(I believe was the owner) continued to yell at the other (I believe was his brother). He was very rude to the one man and I actually felt sorry for him.

Wow! The technician was calling to schedule the repair before I hung up the phone with the office. Problem was diagnosed and repaired in less than 15 minutes. Awesome response and fantastic service! Will definitely call again!

Repaired the Washer and evaluated the refrigerator problem...They were great with contacting me and giving me an honest evaluatio n. I will definately use them again if needed!

The motor was broken on my 10 year old dryer. He sold me a nice used one that was only 2 years old, and also repaired the exhaust tube to allow for better airflow. It's a better dryer than the one I had, and I am very please with it. He guaranteed it for 90 days.

My refrigerator was not cooling. I scheduled a visit and was told by the attendant that there would be a charge of $80 for the visit, that could be applied toward the repair if contracted. The technician came two days later, was very rude, spent 5 minutes checking the refrigerator and told that there was a gas leak and that he didn't perform that kind of repair. well they told me that it was not worth fixing. the problem was a big one, the moter or something like that. they told me it was not worth fixing and that i really needed to just pick up a new dryer. what makes them good is the fact that they did not charge me for the trip. usually guys like this will charge 80 bucks just to come out and look at the problem. these guys didn't cost me a dime. so i really appreciated that.

Extremely poor receptionist not professional at all, kept saying "what, what, what, sorry".

I phoned based on finding them on Angies List. The young lady who answered the phone had loud music blaring in the background. I told her I had a Samsung Washer and Dryer that were acting up on me. She responded "right" and then silence. I though she said "what" so I repeated myself. Again she said "right" followed by a bit of silence. She then said "so do you want something". Clearly if I"m calling an Appliance Repair company about my appliances acting up I'm seeking repair. Sharpen up those customer service skills. You may have had my business.

I have been having trouble getting my icemaker hooked up so I called them asking if that's something they do. The person on the phone, who didn't give her name said "no". I said "You don't hook up icemakers?" She said "No." I said, are you an appliance repair shop? She said "Yes." "But you don't hook up icemakers?" "No." "Do you know anyone who does or could you point me in the right direction?" She said "No." I said "Ok, goodbye". She said "Goodbye." I don't think I've ever had a stranger conversation with a vendor ever. Not the least bit helpful.
