They called me a few days after my initial message and I had already hired someone else.

They are great. They are reliable, and their prices are reasonable. They have a good quality staff; there is no turnover, which is amazing. The guy who does the fertilizing knows what he is doing, and he will explain why he is doing what he is doing. They just do everything for me, and I don’t have to guess or do anything. I would rate them highly.

We needed our fromt lawn resoded with St. Augustine, and also wanted a new landscaping design done. Doug came to our home soon after our initial call. He took the measurements, and asked what we were thinking of regarding the new landscape design. He made suggestions for the design of the beds and plant types that we found insightful and helpful. Doug and his team resodded our front yard, implimented the landscaping design, and added additional sprinklers to insure proper coverage for the lawn and plants. They were professional, did the work in a timely manner, and answered all questions promptly and clearly. I would use them again, and also recommend them highly.

As stated above, I really was disappointed in their work or lack of. I would not use them again or recommend them to anyone.

Maintain Landscaping began taking care of our property in April, and we have been very satisfied with their weekly service, the service of the subcontractor they used to work on our old and cranky irrigation system, and the depth and breadth of their knowledge of landscape plants. They go above and beyond what one would expect from a landscaping service. All the people who come here are professional, and communicating with them is easy and productive. They have complied with all of our particular requests, and leave weekly and monthly reports of the work they have done and the condition of our landscaping.

After trying to find a good reliable company in the middle of summer we finally found and contracted ML to come maintain our yard on a bi-weekly schedule. I was very pleased with the customer service, they always answered all my questions and concerns in a timely manner before I contracted them. So far they have come out a few times and have done a great job! Price is reasonable and work is done on time. So far so good, hope it stays that way! **Gutters are extra but reasonably priced.

I called the office to ask for a quote, and was given an appointment for Doug the owner to come out and have a look the following Monday at 9:00 AM. He arived at precisely 9:00 AM on the dot. Full marks and then some for punctuality! I described what I wanted done in pretty general terms. I knew the planting beds around the front door were overgrown and shabby, and that I knew I wanted something different, but I didn't know what. Doug made a few suggestions, talked about what they might look like, and asked what I thought. Walking around the house, he asked several times how we used the space. What windows did we tend to look out of. What views were important to us. What we liked an didn't like. He emailed an estimate a few days later with detailed drawings of his proposed plantings, and I really liked what I saw. I got the impression that he really listened to what we liked and didn't like about our current landscape, and came up with something that really worked for us. Due to some nasty weather, the work had to be split up over a couple of weeks to let the sod farm catch up with their orders. And then had to be split up over a few days when some severe storms cut the work days short. In the end, the crew gave up an entire Saturday to come and finish up. Finishing up included testing and adjusting the irrigation system, removing a couple of sprinkler heads that weren't needed, and walking around with me showing me how the sprinklers were aimed, and talking to me about how long each zone would need to run based on the new configuration. Since Doug wasn't there on Saturday, he came by first thing Monday morning to have a walk around himself and inspect the work that was done. He pointed out a couple of spots in the new sod to keep an eye on and make sure they rooted in properly, and assured me that if they didn't please call and he would come and replace them. Overall, a very professional group of people right from start to finish. But the deciding factor for me was the way Doug listened to what we had to say, and then came back with a few suggestions. We really didn't know what we wanted, just that we didn't like what we had, and Doug was able to come up with a design that worked.

I was not there, but neighbor reported lawn looked fine

Doug DeYoung, the company owner, responded promptly to my initial call, listened attentively and took notes during our scheduled appointment when we walked around the property, then spent time on his own taking pictures and measurements of all the areas to be re-landscaped. His enthusiasm, confidence, and relaxed demeanor made me feel positive about hiring him to complete the seemingly overwhelming work that I'd been putting off for a long time. Within a couple of days he emailed a drawing and detailed estimate of the work to be done. His attention to detail in planning the project and reasonable price estimate convinced me to choose his company over another whose price for the same work seemed way out of line. We agreed to begin the work about two weeks after our acceptance of his proposal. His three-man crew showed up promptly on the designated day and worked nonstop until late afternoon to clear out all of the old plants in front, including the large vine-infested powder puff shrub which they dug out by hand. They also began some of the clearing in the back and set aside a few plants that I wanted to move later to containers for our pool area. All the guys were easygoing, friendly, and worked well together to get a lot of work accomplished in a short amount of time. They cleaned up the debris as they worked and took all the trash with them at the end of the day. The second day proceeded just as efficiently. A lot of the backyard behind the pool was a literal jungle of overgrown viburnum, ligustrum, pyrocantha, wax myrtle, ginger lilies, and roughly six different species of wild vines, including the impossible-to-control skunk vine. By the end of the day that area of approximately 1500 square feet had been cleared and sprayed for weeds. I was astounded at how much bigger our property seemed with all the trash removed. By the end of day three, all new plants had been installed, including a nice crape myrtle to replace the powder puff, a triple trunk Robelinii palm, and an assortment of about 90 small hedge plants and ground cover. All beds were mulched, two sprinkler heads were replaced and adjusted, a splash rock was positioned to control runoff from the front roof, and the property was raked and cleaned thoroughly. Two of the front beds were recontoured and prepared for additional St. Augustine sod which was subsequently added a couple of weeks after weeds in that area had been sprayed. During the project Doug checked on the progress, and was there to supervise and work with his crew for the placement of all the plants. They all seemed to enjoy working together, and mutual respect for each other was evident. Doug did not send me a bill until after all the work had been completed to my satisfaction. Because of my positive experience with this company, I plan to use them again for periodic maintenance and to do some additional landscaping in my new cleared 50’ x 30’ backyard.

I called for an estimate. Doug came and gave me a written estimate. He asked me to call him to do the service at my convenience. I wanted to be home, so I called to have the work done on July2. His team arrived, in Maintain Landscaping shirts and went over the list of services. I checked the services after the team finished and handed the team a check for the full amount. I called Doug to see what I could do as follow up care for both azaleas and the new trees. He was very helpful. I will use this company again.

They were prompt and did everything they said they would. I would recommend them to others and use them again.

Communication was sometimes a problem and made the process drag out a bit. However, things were done well, on time and as promised. Any problems were addressed and we were very pleased with the work. We are happy with all the plant suggestions and the time that was put into sketching out all the placement, ahead of time, so that we could better visualize what was going to go where.

Maintain Landscaping was a great company to work with. They acted promptly and followed up on what they were doing. Everything looked great and worked well in the sprinkler system at the end of the job.

They were very Professional & courteous. The Owner even gave us a follow-up call to ensure that we received all the information we needed. It was refreshing to do business with this company, customer service is obviously important to them.
