Description of Work: Installed incorrect shutters. Refused to stop installation when asked. Refused to return calls and charged credit card without authorization for balance. Provided no paperwork or contracts beforehand just left completion slip at end. Reported company for fraudulent charge. Investigation resulted in refund from credit card company.

Description of Work: They did a nice job, but my scores are lower because the Angie's List "deal" I bought turned out not to be a good deal at all. Discount was based on MSRP and buying without the "deal" at Yocum's discounted prices would have worked better. Salesperson kept insisting it was a great deal until I showed her comparable product in a competitor's catalog for much less. Then, she agreed ... Not a good deal. But I felt bamboozled.

Description of Work: Yocum made us some custom shades for our living room and two bedrooms and a vertical blind for our dining room window. They were very professional and punctual. Came out and measured for the blinds and showed us samples of the materials and colors. It didn't take long for them to be delivered and Yocum came back and installed them all for us and showed us how to work them. We have been very pleased with the shades/blind and the installation.

Description of Work: The Hunter Douglas blinds proved to be far too expensive, but Roberta applied my Angie's List Deal to another brand of cellular shades. These were a lesser quality, but the price was lower. I still feel the price was more than I expected to pay for 3 very small windows, 2 average windows, and 1 sliding door. The man who first came out to measure didn't seem very knowledgeable about the products but was very nice. I picked a color, which later had to be changed since it was Hunter Douglas, but when I asked to borrow a sample to pick another color, I was told they couldn't lend out the sample. I thought this very surprising and annoying-I had to go into the store, look at the books and guess the right color. Hence the B for professionalism. The man who did the actual install (forgot his name) was great. The blinds have a flimsy string with plastic pull which comes apart frequently when drawing the blinds, although the installer said it's supposed to do this for child safety.

Description of Work: I have used them twice and I would use them again. Natural woven "shades" at one instillation. Vertical blinds in the other. Everything was well done and on time....including visits.
