They came when they said they were coming and measured accurately for a perfect fit.

They did a fine job measuring and quoting on the first trip. Ordered the blinds and came back a few weeks later as arranged for a fine installation of 6 windows with blinds and a large window with shutters. My only complaint is that they have tirelessly bagged me for this review. If I didn’t respond the first 12 times maybe I didn’t want to. This was 3 years ago when we had the work done. Seriously.

Shade disintegrated in a week. Owner was unresponsive for a while (it was a few years ago ) then accusatory that I had done the damage myself . Wouldn't make an appointment to come and look at the shade. I was working long hours and couldn't stay home to wait for him to choose a day and time last minute to come out and check the shade. Finally he came out, recognized it was faulty material and incompetent placement. But was still arrogant and rude.

We've used Yocum several times and they never disappoint us. They do quality work every time...very courteous, professional and reliable.

Went well. Also great on follow up. Need some attention about two years after initial installation and they did not hesitate to help.

I purchased shutters for my bedroom from Yocum and I love them. They did a great job and I wish I could afford to put them on every window in my home. Maybe after I win the lottery! I would highly recommend them.

The scheduler was terrible to deal with. The installation was good. I purchased another certificate and they would not honor it. Owner said I was trying to get one over on him - really? He was very rude and very, very, unprofessional.

The sales clerk was very knowledgeable and influenced my decision for my selection. Measurements were taken following my selection and the installation occurred in a timely manner. I highly recommend Yokum Shutters and would solicit their services again. Overall the customer service is outstanding!

Amazing! Everything from start to finish was A+++. From first contact to installation. Our shutters look great. We love them. And we love that there was no hassle at all.

They were great. We had other work done in our master bedroom suite and Yocum waited until that work was done so the shutters would be installed correctly. Very clean, on time, pleasant attitude. Would call them again without any doubt. Went into the store and they were just as great as our installer. The installer did the entire job from measurements to installation. He was willing to go the extra mile for us.

I called to request an estimate and the salesperson said the installer does not provide free estimates. The salesperson said the cost for the estimate would be $50. When I explained that all other companies provide free estimates, he replied that his installer was the best and that is why the $50 fee was warranted. I told him I wasn't interested in paying a fee and would go with other providers. He called back the next day and tried to do a hard sell touting his installer was the best and that I was making a mistake with any other company. Needless to say, his hard sell technique backfired and I chose to go with another company. The salesperson was very pushy.

Povider came out on the scheduled appt to install the up stairs shutters. Also left touch up paint in a small container for later if needed. Never had to use the touch up paint from the time the first floor shutters were installed nearly 3 years ago. This is the first time I could say that all of the windows were updated since I moved in nearly 20 years ago.

I know she was satisfied with the service. I guess their price was average. Their work was good and their price seemed reasonable. It seemed like top quality stuff. They got back right away.

Frank proved to be very responsive to questions on my order, pre and post instillation. I'm very pleased with the results. The installers were incredibly professional, and worked through any issues that came up. Any concerns I had or changes I requested were resolved to my satisfaction, without question -- I would not hesitate to do business with Yokum again and am glad to recommend them; their quality, professionalism, and responsiveness clearly set them apart.

Great experience from original contact with sales (Frank) and installation estimate/installation with installer (Kimsey). Very knowledgeable and price was not obnoxious. End product was exactly as advertised and installation was well within window of time promised. In fact, when the shutters came in from the factory they were installed the very next day in 2 hours. Will definitely use them again and refer to others

It turned out fine. They gave us options. The customer service was good and they followed it timely and I had no complaints.

We went out to there store to look at some blinds and see the merchandise, at the time of the visit she kept saying she will get back to me but we have not heard from her.

Earlier this year they had installed shutters in our living room and dining room. We were very pleased with the product, price and installation. We recently had our kitchen remodeled and needed window treatment for two windows. We purchased a Big Deal on Angie's List. We heard from Yocum immediately. The installer (Kimzee) came out promptly to measure. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable and efficient. He gave us his professional opinion, based on years of experience, on what would look best based on some constraints we had with the kitchen design. In about 4 weeks, our shutters arrived and Justin (Kimsey's son) came out to install them. He is also very knowledgeable, efficient and personable. Again, we are very pleased with Yocum's product, price and installation. We would definitely used them again.

The service was fine and I am pleased with the product and the installation. I did not have the most pleasant experience over the phone with the woman I placed my order with. The scheduling was adequate. The installers were very good. They were very pleasant and efficient.

After purchasing the deal I did receive a response from the company requesting I contact them when I was ready to get the blinds. So after a while I did call when I was ready. The rep. was courteous but the deal was for $500. worth of blinds for $200.00 but by the time he ran it all down to me the cost had escalated. I did add blinds because he wasn't too interested in coming out for a $200. deal. It was more like a sales gimmick then a actual deal. I don't think they want to be bothered with small potatoes like myself.
