Paul and Andrea showed up and we reviewed the areas I needed cleaned up. It was very hot that week so I wasn't sure how long the entire job would take. They went through and thoroughly cleaned out all of the areas I had shown them. They did stop for water breaks, but they deducted that time from the total. In all, they were there for over 5 hours and charged me for 4. I was very happy with the job they did and felt that the charge was more than fair.

It was wonderful. They came within 3 days and did everything I asked them to do. I would hire them again!!

It went great. Ken was super responsive, ( replying the same day,) and his team was terrific as well. Everyone was very polite, didn't waste time ( we were paying by the hour) and the 2 men did a very good job. We overestimated the time it would take to get the job done, so it wasn't able to get totally finished, even with an additional hour. We've used Ken and his team in the past, and are always very satisfied with their work and service. Don't know what we'd do without them! Thanks Ken.

Excellent work! The team arrived on time (actually a bit early, which was great!), and got started right away. They did everything I asked to have done; they worked effectively and efficiently, and make the front yard look great. They thoroughly cleaned up the site when they were done. I'm very pleased with their service and will definitely hire them again.

I believe my workers' names were Paul and Andrea, both of whom were great. Very kind and trimmed a LOT more than I expected them to! They also thought of my dog's needs as they were trimming, which meant a lot to me on a personal level. Also, Ken was very clear the week before about what was needed on my end and what his workers were capable of doing. Couldn't ask for better customer service. I highly recommend Ken's Lawn & Property Service! Great deal and better quality work than I expected!

Paul and Andrea arrived exactly as scheduled. They intuitively understood clearly just what we required. They went to work with vigor, efficiency and enthusiasm. Their teamwork showed their experience with one another and confidence in their partner's procedures--a precise meshing of professional efforts. The yard was left clean and beautiful. It was a pleasure to work with both of them. That's true also of the firm's "Dispatcher," Ken T. whose communication skills were outstanding. We hope 'Ken's" will be able to work for us next year.

Well I learned my lesson to never pay for a job on a hourly basis. I was floored to see how little work was accomplished in the 6 hours (2 people "working" for 3 hours). Had to finish the job myself (and I was able to get done the same or more work by myself in a shorter period of time). Nice employees but be mindful YOU are on the clock the second the arrive on your property. Chit-chat and small talk including the walkthrough of the job are all on YOUR dime. I would never do business with this individual again. I strongly feel I overpaid considering how little was actually accomplished. According to owner (and as I see he loves to say in many other reviews) this was his "best" crew and they are "highly sought after". I chalk up the money that went down the drain to a lesson learned not to pay for a job like this by the hour.

Both of them work very hard and cleaned and backed all of the leaves and soil left over from some garden projects in the past. I'm blessed I suppose as I have been a member of "Angie's List" as I am always very much happy with the caliper of the both companies and tradesmen I recruit from the Angie's list.

The work was completed as asked. The job went very well.

The overall quality of the job was fine. However, we were quoted one price after having told them how big our yard is. Once they cut the lawn and noticed the size of our house, we were told they would not come back unless we paid $20 more. To me this is dishonest pricing.

My experience with them was not that good. They really did not do a good job. They even put down mulch and it was not as good as the other people that I had. I would not recommend them. The work does not look good. One of the men was just here showing his muscles and not trying to do any work. The younger guy was trying to do the work and he was nice. The older man just did not know what to do. The price was good, but it probably would have even better if they did a good job. It took them a while to get here and they were late.

They arrived early and I wasn't home yet and they waited for me before starting. The mulch was provided but because most of the time was spent removing the ivy, there wasn't enough time left to spread the mulch. Thank you for removing the ivy because it was all the way up the wall to the top of the side of the garage. I could never get it off with the sprays available in the stores. I had a bad back and wasn't able to lift the bags of mulch to finishing spreading all the mulch. Also, I wanted the entire yard landscaped; front, side and back. The side was not really touched much and the mulch wasn't spread there at all. They asked me if I wanted the mulch spread and I said yes but then they left before really completing. I think they were concerned about the extra cost to me. I do intend to use the service again and actually just requested it for this week. I did appreicated the prompt and eagerness to get the work done on time. Kim

It was perfect. He came in did the work. In a timely manner and it was no hassle for me.

Paul and Andrea were professional, hard working and did a great job. I had them pick up the twigs and branches in my heavily wooded area and remove some leaves from the fall. They were able to complete more than I thought in the allotted time and surpassed my expectations. Thank you!

Very happy that I did not need to be home when this work was done. Yard was aerated and seeded as requested. I recommend this company.

I had some wind damage on my car-port??Some of the lattice roof was damaged by sever winds. A carpenter will NOT come to house for less then $250??The job involved taking down the old lattice work so I called KLS and they came took it down, cleaned up and hauled it away for a fraction of what a carpenter would charge. My motto? Call KLS and see if they can do a project rather then pay a carpenter an arm & a leg. I had 1 of their guys remove a room full of wallpaper and SAVED a bunch on that project

Paul and Steve were terrific. They did a very efficient and thorough job, accomplishing the grasses work within the two hours I had paid for as a Big Deal. I had them come back the following week to do 2 hours of ditch clean-out. It was obvious that they cared about the quality of the work they did, and they took good care of the parts of the property they weren't working on. They even cared about dropping a bit of mud in the driveway. In other posts (mostly for other providers), people have expressed concern about hiring folks on a per hour basis; no need to worry about that with these folks.

Ken was very accommodating. We set up a date for his teram to come out. They did what was asked and provided guidance on tasks that were asked of them to do. Thank you

It went very well. I was able to arrange for the job requirements by phone the day before. The landscapers were even a little earlier than expected--and prepared to do the job. I had already removed my perennials, so we put down my large tarp on the driveway and they proceeded to remove all of the remaining plant material--tossing it on the tarp. I had arranged for 2 cubic feet of topsoil to be delivered--they put about 2/3 of it on the remains of the garden to bring it up to the level of the rest of the lawn and raked/leveled it. While they were working on the garden I shook out the plant material on the top to capture more of the soil and bagged the weeds for future reference. At my request they left the remaining topsoil up at the top of the driveway, where I'll use it in my remaining garden work. They also dug out a very heavy cement base of an old mailbox post at my request which made it easier for me to build a smaller flower plot around the existing mailbox. Overall I thought they did a great job--used the full two hours and were done at the end of it. I haven't yet gotten the bill for the topsoil--I estimated the total cost ($189+likely cost of topsoil). They were courteous, friendly, and gave me some good instructions on how to deal with the new proto-lawn. It was totally worth it.

Work was performed as promised, pleasantly, and professionally.

The two men worked for two hours and did a good job of getting rid of the leaves, branches, and debris. There were still some leaves at the bottom of three hydrangea bushes. My one complaint: They broke and ornamental gazing ball and not only didn't say anything about it, they took the pieces with them. I guess so we wouldn't know.

The crew came on time and was ready to work. I used them for a previous job and the crew was pleasant and easy to work with the same as before. They planted several bushes and several azaleas assisting in getting the right spacing and location. They also put down some mulch. They listened to want I wanted which was very important. I was very pleased with the garden when they finished. Can't wait for plantings to bloom this year. I would highly recommend KLS and will continue to use them. Great service!
