Description of Work: They did it a day earlier than scheduled. Good job - areated area across the yard parallel to the house and then did it perpendicular to that. This is what most lawn experts recommend but few lawn services do!

Description of Work: Ken Sr. was very helpful in scheduling this service, especially since it is vital to be at home for trimming so the crew can double-check with you if they have any questions about a particular tree or shrub. We have a LOT of decorative trees, shrubs and ornamental grasses so Paul and Kevin worked on it all day. They were very detail-oriented and everything looks so much cleaner and sharper. Paul went out of his way to tame an ornamental ivy that had taken over one entire side and was pushing a downspout away from the house. Kevin brought out a chainsaw that had a much longer blade than mine and cut down a stump to the ground thereby saving me the time-consuming task of finessing the cut with a blade that was too short. They removed a full truckload of trimmings which shows how much they accomplished in one day...while being careful to get it done correctly.

Description of Work: I scheduled this with Ken Sr. and he was very accommodating. When I came home on the day of the service, the lawn was filled with core plugs - exactly what I wanted to see!

Description of Work: I used the Angie's Big Deal coupon to have them clear out overgrown sections of my yard. They arrived on time, we walked through the yard and I pointed out what I wanted cleared and what they should leave alone. I opted to have them haul away the debris, so they loaded it into their truck. Overall, they did a great job.

Description of Work: Performed a variety of landscape maintenance chores. They did a nice job, made some useful suggestions, and worked safely.

Description of Work: I contracted Ken's Lawn Service for aeration and then added seeding and lime application. |Th aeration was fine-- the lime was applied but in terms of seeding there is little evidence of the seed lying on the lawn. I suppose I will be able to tell next spring if the grass is growing well.

Description of Work: Weeding, trimming bushes, making edges , all in the front yard

Description of Work: Ken's cut my hedges and thinned them out. They also trimmed three small shrubs, weed wacked the back of my property, and took all the debris away. ( I provided the bags.) The work was good, but they left some debri from the cutting of the small shrubs. They stayed over the time they said they would stay.

Description of Work: To start, I reviewed a list of needed tasks with the two men. They then worked together on some and separately on others. Things ranged from removing stakes that had been holding up some young trees to weeding flower beds to raising a tree's canopy and removing brush. One did not recognize some weeds and vines, but when I pointed out the error, he willingly completed the task. They removed the debris for a modest extra fee, billed later. The owner did not charge me for the few minutes the men were here beyond the two hours.
