Only that they were late on the first lady, anyway they had a truck and it was loaded with mulch. but thy did a heck of a job they were wonderful, they really cleaned up beautifully and I would use them again in the future.

Ken's team of Paul and Chuck did a tremendous job of cleaning up my property and giving me some serious curb appeal! They arrived on time and worked the entire time they were onsite. They also cleaned up all the old weeds, mulch and trimmings and bagged them for me without even asking! All in all a wonderful job and I would highly recommend Ken' to anyone who needs some quality landscaping done.

It went fine. It was Ken himself who did it and he was prompt. There is nothing that he could have done differently. He was fair and friendly.

The team is courteous and professional, and performed the requested tasks within the allotted 4 hour period. (The gentleman who answers their phone calls is also professional.) The lawn cutting service is separate, and is also done very professionally. I am very satisfied with Ken's Lawn and Property Service, and highly recommend the company.

Overall the service was good. The guys were nice. If there was a "maybe" option for the "Would you use this provider in the future?" question I would have selected that. I had three large bushes I wanted trimmed which they did by hand--why didn't they use the hedge trimmer? That would have gone much faster and I had plenty of other stuff they could have done. They packed up to go and then realized they still had 25 minutes on the clock. They came back but it seems like not a lot more got done after that. I think the one guy felt bad about that so he trimmed my front bushes but I wish he would have asked me because I had another bush out back that I would rather have had done (or at least started) and he also banged into the front windows with the trimmer. I went back after they left and trimmed down all the bushes they did even more. I told them to concentrate on the cutting and I would do the pick up--of course this left a lot for me to pick up and it will probably take a week to get it cleaned up. Not their fault--but I guess I just felt for two guys and two hours I could have gotten more done.

It went very well.The shrubs look great ,they followed directions perfectly and were very nice.I would not hesitate to use them on my next landscape project.

It went great. The men were very professional. They introduced themselves, asked what I needed and got down to work. They went out of their way to make sure that what they did was as I wanted, which it was. I was very pleased with their work - my yard looks great. Additionally, they were very knowledgeable about the vegetation in my yard and the reasons for some of the problems I was having. I plan to arrange for them to come again for other things that need to be done.

The first time they came I had bought an Angie coupon for 4 hours. They were able to put a good dent in the work I wanted done in that time frame. I needed to have them back for another 4 hours to complete the work. They even came on a Sunday for the second service. Actually it was on Mother's Day.

Paul and Chuck worked most of the day. I was particularly pleased that: - they cleaned up yard waste (better than my expectations) before starting with the mulch - they were easy on the existing plants.....there was no damage to any existing flowers or shrubs - they edged the driveway with stone that I had on hand as an extra - they dug out paving stones that were buried and re-installed them to make a great looking path. They were careful to note the time of their breaks and provided an accurate accounting of their time. I will use them again and highly recommend them.

The providers showed up on time and worked diligently for the allotted 2 hours. They were professional and courteous.

From beginning to end , a wonderful experience. Ken called me right away. Responded to my questions ( I sent him a few emails before the job) professional, kindly. I was nervous hiring someone because of past bad experiences with people hired privately. (before Angies list) Paul and Chuck were wonderful to work with. They arrived on time, they were professional, respectful, clean, kind,listened to what I wanted to do. They were knowledgeable. I was weeding a little garden (3x3)on my own while they worked and they both came over and helped me finish even though they were done. After they were done the priority work and it was a little before 2 hours, Paul gave me the option of continuing or scheduling the less pressing work to another time. I chose to schedule the rest in the future due to financial reason and wanted time to think through the next step. I appreciated him doing that. I also was impressed with Chuck who kept working after a near by nest of lawn bees got disturbed and started buzzing around him ( and maybe even stinging him)! I will definitely recommend you and hire them again!

It went very well! The owner was in communication with me the entire time concerning weather and when they will be available to come out and perform the work. The gentlemen who completed the work at my house were on time and really great to work with. They consulted us about every step of the way and were super considerate. Even when one the plants was damaged it wasn't an issue. We decided to see if it would grow back this spring and if it didn't the owner offered to replace and replant the new plant. Overall a great experience!

Contacted 5/5/15 at 7:45 AM. I requested service including spring cleanup, bush trimming, mulching and replant 2 small Japanese Maple trees. Was told we are "too" far at 20 minutes and 18 miles away.. I just read this response from this contractor. I was told exactly what I documented above. I "DEMANDED" nothing. I inquired about services. I guess he is trying to play spin doctor. I was told we were too far no other explanation at all. I have no reason to tell anything but the truth, he on the other hand is trying to remove the proverbial egg from his face. Very unprofessional..

Bought a deal for 4 hours of landscaping. Initial contact was smooth, scheduling was easy, and they were on time. Was hoping they would get through more of the beds, but what they did get to looked great afterwards. Only issue was that afterwards, we received a bill for "extra" time the men put in. No extra time was requested, and the workers were seen smoking and taking a break at one point during the 2 hours, so we contacted the manager and let him know and he got rid of the extra charge.

It turned out great. They called me the next day. There was additional charge for hauling debris and waste which was fine. It was 100$ for hauling away. I was very pleased with their work. They were very polite and did exactly what I wanted them to do, I was very happy.

Ken's was very responsive. The coupon had stipulations as to the size of the property and what would be covered. Ken's initially responded with a revised estimate, based on the official lot size of my property. I guess it is all about the upgrades; however, I was able to provide very specific estimated of my actual lawn size which were well within the size mentioned in the coupon. My property was heavily wooded, with an inground pool and large deck, which they did not take into consideration when suggesting the higher fees. All in all - the did the work I requested at the specified pricing. I did have them add on seeding to the job, which was not covered in the specified work. They were reasonably priced and did a good job.

I wrote Ken regarding an estimate for weeding and mulching services since it is indicated in description that they install mulch and do weed control. He wrote back that they charge by the hour, time and materials, and never has told me how much it would cost by the hour. I wrote back -- how do I get an estimate. He said he doesn't do on site estimates but I still have no idea how much it would cost. How would I ever know how much anything would cost? Do they just come out do the work and give me a bill and I would have to pay no matter what? I'm confused? Very unprofessional in communication.

Went very well. Ken made prompt contact and was immediately responsive to my questions about service and expectations. Please note I only rated the price as fair as I really am not familiar with the competitive rates for similar services; just feel I paid a fair price for the work performed. Paul and Steve were assigned to perform the service and they were great to work with; professional and friendly but worked hard and efficiently to complete all that I requested within the 2 hours allotted for the services.

He said he can't do it because its 2 1/2 acres. I told him its only 1/4 acre and the rest were woods. His son came out and looked at it and decided against doing the work. They said it was too dangerous because it's on a hill.

It went fine. Paul, the on-site foreman, was a good listener, did just what I asked for, and asked questions along the way so as to avoid any misunderstandings.

They knew what they were doing, worked together and got accomplished what was needed.

One of the very fewest providers I've ever had arrive just ahead of schedule. Ken spoke with me to really understand the scope of what we were looking for and got right to work. Both he and his co-worker worked quickly and efficiently until the job was completed. Very pleased! Thanks Ken!

I spoke with Ken on the phone, he was very pleasant and professional. They came out when I was out work and did the job. They scheduled the job just a few days after I purchased it. They were fast, professional and a pleasure to deal with.
