Frederick's rep "John" came to the house right on time for the estimate. His presentation was professional and informative from start to finish. The workmen were punctual as well, showing up right on time, installation was neat, clean, and professional. John quoted us a rebate for 1,000. However, that was a mistake, the rebate was only 400, but Frederick's gave us 600 cash back to compensate for the mistake. I would definately recommend this wonderful company to anyone, and plan to use them in the future for all of our plumbing, heating, air conditioning needs.

I haven't needed heating people since then. They are very reliable and very honest. There wasn't anything bad. I would use them again in the future.

Called vendor based on personal and Angie List recommendations to have Heater and A/C replaced. Initial contact was helpful and honest as to what equipment and services to quote. Quote was acceptable based on research and accepted and work was scheduled. All expectations and promises were met in a professional and conscientious manner from all individuals within this organization that we encountered.

Apparently the water heater was beyond its age. There have been no issues with the new water heater and it seems to work fine. My overall impression of them is very good. We did have a slight problem, a misunderstanding. We noticed the water leaking; I think it was a later Friday afternoon or mid afternoon on a Friday. Somebody came out and they told us one thing that if they bring in a new water heater on the weekend, they still couldn't do it on that Friday afternoon but if they bring it on a weekend, there'll be an extra charge because of the weekend. So he said he'd have to shut it down for the weekend which means we may or may not have any hot water during the weekend. Either that or we pay the extra and when they did bring a new one on Monday we somehow mentioned this conversation with their person on Friday and the guy on Monday kind of looked baffled and said no, they wouldn't have charged anything extra on the weekend. So we got a call from the head of the plumbing company and he reduced the fees to make up for that. Even though the original guy gave us maybe false information, misleading or maybe he didn't want to be the one to come in on a weekend, the company itself, I only have positive thing to say. We've used them several times and we've signed an annual agreement. In fact they were just here earlier this week doing an annual inspection of the heater, not the hot water heater but our furnace and air conditioning unit. They were very polite and very professional. They've done work on a dishwasher for us so everything has been very professional and very good. Their charge for labor and the water heater itself was all very reasonable. The head of the company was prompt and when he heard from the guy who delivered the water heater on Monday about what the guy on Friday had told us, he initiated the call and we didn't even have to ask any kind of price adjustment.

The work was done quickly and professionally. I believe this company does good work, I just question the extent of the work that was done - was it necessary It is unfortunate that I could not be there and that I did not postpone some of the work, which I had not anticipated, initially. There had been only 1 problem that needed work, that I knew of, so I should have delayed the other work.

They weren't the cheapest but we went with them anyway. I am waiting to see if I get the savings they said I would with this heating unit. They came for an estimate, we liked them and had them install it.

It went very well. They said everything was working just fine. They have done work for me in the past as well.

Problem: a leaky faucet, at the base. Existing faucet was an obscure brand and repair was not trival and would cost $250. It required complete removal to get to the bottom gaskets which was not easy. Future replacement parts could also be problematic or not timely to obtain them. Provider suggested a more common faucet brand which he quoted. I went with a new faucet.

The estimate was thorough and simple. (see complaint below). Bud Thompson explained all options and let us decide. Work was scheduled about 10 days from when we signed the contract. They used Carrier equipment, one of the top brands. They had been referred to us by a friend who was very happy with their job doing same at her house. Their price was less than comparable unit from another more popular local installation company even after their $750 rebate as well. The install team was competent, solved several challenges related to the working in an older house with several additions. They were very consiiderate and asked my wife (who was home those days) several questions regarding preferences, and kept her informed of problems as they arose. Supervisor came out twice to look at the job, bring new parts for the breaker box, and communicated with us. They finished less than a week ago, we have hardly had the AC on and not the furnace at all so no comments on reliability etc. Two minor complaints. 1) They tried to sell us a very expensive 'ductless' AC solution for two rooms upstairs that they said would not get cool enough from the standard centralized unit. These ductless AC for 2 rooms cost almost as much as the AC for whole house. So far it seems they were not at all necessary. We will see next summer. 2) They did not give us a formal quote for the various options, everything was hand wtitten. Neither contractor would not provide us a price list either. Gi ven the different brands and options, this made us resort to scribbling down all the details during our F2F meeting.

Dave fixed the ejector pump (a disgusting job) in about five minutes - NO CHARGE. He gave us estimates for a replacing the hot water heater, all of which were in line with estimates we received from other companies. Great guy, very knowledgable and polite. A pro.

Overall the visit went well. The plumber who came out was punctual and polite and wore shoe covers, answered my questions and spent a lot of time finding the source of the leak. He was careful and made an access point through the wall and instructed me on how I could purchase an access panel at the store. Leak was fixed in an appropriate amount of time. He explained everything he was doing. I would definitely use their services again.

They were very friendly and they seemed to give us good service.

We've used them twice. We liked them very much and would recommend and use them again whenever we have any work that needs to be done. They were perfect and were really, really good. They took out an oil furnace and cleaned everything up perfectly. It was really messy when they pulled out the oil furnace and they cleaned every ounce of that up. Our basement was really spotless when they left. We would absolutely use them in the future.

These guys were great. Very professional and worked with us doing what we needed and no more. We were trying to save money by doing some of the work ourselves: demo, installation of fixtures, etc. They were very helpful, understanding and all around great guys.

I had several companies I located through Angie's List come out and give estimates. Bud Thompson took the time to explain all my options to me and the pros and cons of each type of unit we discussed. He provided me with a full, detailed written estimate and when all was said and done, the best price and the best options (service package etc) of all the companies I had contacted. The team that came in to install my system were professional, courteous and very punctual. They were here on time, took care to ensure that the floor was covered so they did not track dirt through the house and efficiently installed my new equipment. When they were done (several hours earlier than I thought they would be) they walked me through the use of the new thermostat and made sure I was comfortable with the new system. I was most impressed by the care they took in cleaning up when they were done so that everything was back in order before they left my house. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to replace their heating systems or looking for quality service.

They were very prompt! They also were very good about educating me about my choices. We double checked all of the info on the Internet and they were right. We feel as though we got a good deal and they do really high quality work. They left the basement around the heater cleaner than when they started.
