Both Jim and Wayne, his apprentice, arrived on time and were very polite as well as professional. Jim took the time to diagnose the problem as well as inspect for other problems. Jim installed the Badger 500 for the agreed upon price as well as fix a separate minor leak at no additional cost. We are very pleased with the service.

Jim arrived promptly and provided a reasonable, free estimate. He performed the work professionally and quickly. Although a wax ring came with my toilet, it was the wrong size. Jim had another in the truck that he provided at no extra charge. He replaced a leaky pipe in the basement and installed a new valve. I will definitely use Jim again for any plumbing issues.

I have been doing quite a bit of home renovations which required me to to turn the main water shut off on and off many times in the past couple of months which eventually led to the main shut off starting to leak at a slow drip. He showed up the same day that I called (within the hour) and was able to fix the leak promptly and efficiently. He explained to me what had happened and was quick and clean and everything went very well.

Jim called to say he would be a little late, and came 15 minutes later. They replaced the instant hot quickly and left the area very clean. His helper even did a favor for me. Very professional and efficient!

I requested repair on two toilets. Jim arrived promptly and took measures to resolve the problems and warned that the issues could resurface because of the poor quality of the original toilets. I asked him for a quote for installation of two new toilets which he gave and he said he could install them the next day, assuming he could confirm the toilets were in stock. I asked if he could give me a break on the cost since the installation would be the second service call. He indicated he would work with me on that. Less than an hour later he called and confirmed that he would be at the house the next day and gave a time to install the toilets. He arrived promptly and installed the toilets in about 2 hours. He gave me a very reasonably priced deal and am very happy with the two new toilets. I had previously had a different 3rd toilet installed by him in the past and subsequently had zero problems with it. Therefore, I am 100% confident that I also will have zero problems with these 2 new ones. I highly recommend JM Stephens Plumbing because he cares about the customer, being a professional, being dependable and providing excellent quality and service. I am a very happy customer!

I am a happy person. I've finally found "My Plumber", and I have been searching for a while. Jim is a master plumber, with a wealth of experience, and an independent and it shows. My first call was to have the cut off valves and faucets replaced; they were old and corroded; hard to turn off and on; and beginning to leak a little. The estimate was reasonable, so I asked about a toilet that wouldn't flush and refill properly. When he gave me the options, which included a toilet rebuild, I was skeptical, but decided to have it done because the price was right (way, way better than some of his competitors) and he said that he has had great success with rebuilds. I also wanted to keep my toilet because of the color. He and his helper arrived promptly, got to work and finished in a timely manner. It is clear that he is a very knowledgeable person in his field, and he seems to keep his customer's needs in the forefront. I am very pleased with the work that was performed - and the toilet that has been giving us grief for years now works like a charm. Not only will I use him in the future, but I will pass his name along.

The appointment was scheduled within a few days to accommodate both of our schedules. He arrived and recognized the problems. He is professional and friendly as usual. He was suprised and pleased to learn of a favorable review that had appeared in the April 2014 newsletter. I had used his services previously and the quality remains high.

Mr, Stephens & His helper did a very good job, and were very careful to clean up after the job was completed. They worked diligently and thoroughly to get the work finished at a time when they were busy but, knew that I was anxious to have it done before I had visitors coming to stay for a while. I appreciate their willingness to help me out as, I find there are a lot of businesses out there who need to respond to customers when they call them & not not leave them hanging, waiting for a call back. Our time is as important to us as theirs is to them. That's when I feel they are the losers, not me as, I will move on to someone else to do the job as, I want someone who I can count on and, that's what I felt when Mr. Stephens was available to customers who need to have a job done. That's what I call Good Customer Service!

Jim arrived and asked me to tell him about the problem. He listened and then went to work. Unfortunately the power went off in my house just as Jim was ready to use the machine to clean out the pipes. He offered to try to flip his schedule with the hope that the power would come back on by the time he returned. And that's exactly what happened. Jim returned and cleaned out my pipe.

Jim shows up on time and is always willing to answer questions, even those not related to the work he is paid to do. He is willing to accommodate my work schedule , which is greatly appreciated.

The job was flawless in execution. Jim and his helper completed the job in one day. He replaced the old cement wash tub with a new fiberglass tub. I am now able to use my clothes machine without putting a bucket under the wash tub.

Jim was prompt, courteous and efficient. The job was completed quickly and Jim provided a clear explanation of what was being done and why.
