Troy Granite

Selection, attitude, and commitment -- Troy Granite exceeded my expectations in all areas. (Note: I visited and worked with their new Camp Hill, PA office.) Their showroom contains row after row of beautiful stone, some of which looks as if it's ready to hang in an art museum. Their staff is courteous, friendly, and extremely professional. They treated me like family, and their installers were careful with the materials and cleaned up thoroughly before they left. The only evidence they left behind was a fantastic new kitchen countertop. Beyond these things, though, Ismail and the Troy Granite team were one hundred percent committed to my satisfaction, patiently answering questions along the way and making sure my layout was just right. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and I will be visiting them again if and when I have a need for quality stone handled with care and superior craftsmanship.

We selected Troy Granite on the recommendation of a co-worker who had used them before. The showroom staff was courteous and patient. They freely answered questions. The sales person came to the house on the day and time arranged and took the measurements. Some confusion arose over the upgrade of the faucet, which came to light later. The crew assigned to make the template arrived on the day and time arranged and worked quickly and professionally. They courteously answered our questions as they carried out their work. The work crew (of 2) brought the counter tops on time and proceeded to install them neatly, cleanly and relatively quickly. They agreed to removed the old backsplash, as we had discussed with the salesman and did so. The only hitch was encountered at the end, when the granite had been installed (perfect fit) and the seams sealed (one was slightly visible). The faucet we had ordered was not delivered, and the crew had been given the basic faucet. This was dealt with on the phone, and the additional cost added to the bill, but it was Friday evening and the crew wanted to leave, so the lady at Troy Granite sent someone out with the faucet (in his POV) and it was set that evening and ready for the plumber. The tile backsplash was installed and charged separately. It was completed on the day promised without issue. Our experience was relatively pleasant. All the people we dealt with were courteous, competent and professional. Small problems were handled quickly and resolved without much fuss. Work crews were punctual, fully equipped and professional. The prices seemed about the same as others advertised. We have had negative experiences with other contractors who show up when they want, leave unfinished work for days at a time and are not available on the phone when called. We are quite pleased with Troy Granite and highly recommend them to anyone considering granite/tile/stone work.

They were very punctual and very accurate on the pricing. The installers were very pleasant as well as the salespeople. We did not have a problem with the spigots. They had a plumber with them also and he had the spigots on hand. They showed us the new spigots and everything and replaced it right then and there so we did not have to get back to the store or anything. The gentleman came out and it ended up that we needed a new garbage disposal and he had that on hand as well. That saved us a lot of time and a lot of money and headache. We were very very pleased with the quality of the end product. They were here when they said they would be here. They called us if they could come a little earlier, which was great, so they got the job done quicker.

Excellent service! Visited Troy Granite priot to going to Tile Market of Delaware. Initial differences between the two companies: - Troy Granite gave us an estimate on the spot. They said that once we decided to go ahead with the order, they would have a guy do the template at our house and then he would take the measurements back to the warehouse so the granite slab could be cut. - The Tile Market of Delaware rep said that they would take our countertop out in order to make the granite template at their warehouse and it would take 10 days. Then we would have to figure out the installation date. That's a long time to be without a countertop & sink! He seemed very surprised when we told him how Troy Granite was going to do it. The Tile Market rep took down our measurements and said that he would contact us via email with the estimate so we figured it would take a day or so. We never heard back the him! (In fact, we visited the Tile Market about a month later in order to look at backsplash tile and ended up with the same salesperson. He said that we looked familiar but didn't ask how he knew us. He again said that he would get back to us with the backsplash estimate since we provided him the measurements. Again, never heard from him.) Anyway, we had already decided that we would go with Troy because we didn't want to lose our countertop for that long. We dealt with Zoe at the Newark, DE location and she was excellent! She was able to have the guy at our house to do the template within 4 days and then had our install date scheduled for 4 days later. She was able to give us a specific time on the install date also. (They actually called earlier and told us that they'd be arriving earlier than planned.) The installers were great and very nice. We thought we were going to have an issue because our dishwasher is installed in a corner and there wasn't enough support in that corner to hold up the granite. They were able to get a 2x4 out of their truck to fix it. As soon as they left, the plumber arrived and hooked up the plumbing. We wanted to use our "old" faucet because we had just purchased it a year ago and he was able to reinstall it. We did have another issue after the installers left though. I noticed a few scratches in the granite when I ran my fingers over it. I emailed Zoe right away and she had the service manager back at our house the next business day. He fixed the problem and was great also.

Chose a sale granite, not my original choice, but the price was right and it was doable. There were little petty things that keep me from giving an A rating like taking a phone call while working with me shouting in the background when I called to their office, but I would use again. They showed up when they said they would, did what they said they would and the price was the best I found.

We were able to select the specific granite slab from Troy Granites' inventory. There was also a wide selection of tile for the backsplash. The staff at Troy was very helpful and provided good advice in the selections, and took the time necessary to allow us to make good decisions. The installation work was done in three phases, by three separate crews. The first involved creating the template for the granite sections. The next thing was the installation of counters and sink. Finally the tile work was done. The crew was professional and respectful, and were very careful in avoiding damage to the kitchen.

It went very well cant see any damages, and they are very nice people, and they did a fantastic job.

We didn’t choose Troy; we went with one of the other companies. They were nice enough. They just didn’t have what we wanted. They are very big. But the company that we went with is smaller and is much more personalized. We also liked their pricing. They also did the digital template thing which Troy didn’t offer. They didn’t come to our house. We didn’t use them because they didn’t meet our needs. We walked in and somebody said hello and asked if they can help us. We said that we wanted to see their granite. They showed us, gave us a paper and told us how it worked. They asked if we wanted questions and then got our 2:05.9 and we left. Their responsiveness was just average. They were professional. They had a huge selection. If I decided to upgrade my rental property, I would go to Troy because they have the best prices, a bigger selection and have dirt cheap granite. They just didn’t have what we were looking for. For my regular home, I would not use them. That's the difference because I wanted something higher end.

They were very friendly. We did not use their services because we just decided not to do the project at this time. We would consider using them in the future.

Overall, it was a rather pleasant experience.

The entire experience went quite well and with little interruption. Troy Granite came in one morning and made a template of our kitchen counter tops;.two days later we went to their showroom and using the template we determined how best to cut the granite slabs for the counter tops. A week later they removed the old counter tops and installed the new granite counter tops. In fact this was all in done in one morning. We were without use of the kitchen for only one morning.

They did a fantastic job. They had good price and good service. They were on time, and they did everything they said they were going to do.

Options, cost estimates, and procedures were explained well. Office and facility were impressive.

They were prompt, did exactly what they were suppose to, and everything looks perfect.

Awesome experience from start to finish. The initial consultation was great, the salesman spent a lot of time helping us find the right sample and actually suggested less expensive alternatives with similar patterns to the granite we had chosen. We were actually down-sold, leaving us room in the budget to do the backsplash! And the color we ended up with was absolutely amazing! Both the countertop installers and tile guys were top notch professionals. We got calls checking in on their progress from the main office and always felt like there was open communication. Honestly the best contractor we have ever hired. You won't be disappointed.

The company was very timely in getting the measurements. They called us to their workshop promptly for the template process. The turnaround to have the granite ready was very quick - use Troy if you need a quick installation. Our project was done in 7 days from start to finish. They are a little pricey though. Overall, I am satisfied with the project.

From the first visit for the estimate through the final completion of the travertine backsplash the process was fast, easy and enjoyable. Onur was the salesman that visited the house to work the initial estimate and he took the time to explain things with as much detail as I needed. He was there to help when I visited the warehouse to pick the granite type I wanted (Summer) and there when I selected what part of my slabs I wanted for the different counter parts (island, large counter, etc). The counters were installed within 10 days and the installation went well. The crew was prompt, helpful (pointed out something that was done incorrectly with recent dishwasher installation) and took care to ensure the flooring and cabinets were protected. The backsplash installation followed 2 weeks later and Louis worked alone all day to complete the job. His attention to detail was great and he did a beautiful job. I would recommend Troy to anyone and will use them again when it comes time to retile the bathrooms!

The job went very well from start to finish. The installers were prompt in arriving, took their time in completing the job so that there were no problems, and cleaned up well after the job was completed. Not a day goes by that I do not enjoy my new counter-tops; they have made a world of difference in my kitchen. I am vey pleased with the results and would highly recommend Troy Granite for any counter-top replacement. They also serviced a small issue very promptly.

I selected the granite in March, they drew up a proposal and due to Troy's busy schedule, the job was done in May. They were on time and responsive. It took about 2 hours one day to measure, and the counter top was delivered and installed 2 weeks later. There was a problem with on section being canted, but they returned the next day to correct it. The following week another crew came to install the tile back splash. It looks great! About six months after the installation I had a sink full of dishes and it broke away from the counter top. I called Troy and theyimmediately came out to reinforce the installation. Not the nicest looking fix, but there have been no problems since.

I called for an estimate for granite countertops in our kitchen and with my call was able to schedule within 48 hours. Matt was professional and knowledgeable and provided us with a good deal of information in addition to getting measurements. A week later, we went out to their showroom and found all of their staff to be very helpful and friendly. We realize that looking at the little sample pieces they bring to the house is NO indicator of how the large slabs look in the showroom. Despite all of our time invested and their help, we decided not to buy granite from them as the cost of the ones we liked most were out of our budget. We ended up visiting a granite yard in Chester, PA and found a price we could settle with. Had the price been better, I think Troy would have been an excellent choice now that the current contractor we are using has been more challenging to work with.

Very well. They did good job. very fast turn around time (~1 week).

Quote was reasonable, although not the lowest. Salesperson was reasonably friendly, but we were left wondering how much was truth of what they told us. The salesperson sold us a number of items (e.g., that 'everyone, including all the contractors have them do the installation, in the area') that were, at best, borderline true. We asked about cabinetry and the salesperson showed absolutely no initiative. The salesperson said, 'I know nothing about the cabinets.' When prodded further, the salesperson could not come up with the brands of cabinets they sell (nor could they figure out who to ask that question), and they would not, or at least did not, pass our name on to the cabinetry salesperson. It's not a place I would avoid getting a quote from in the future, but it's also not someplace I'd search out.

They were very courteous but did not perform any work for us because of the price. I have no other complaints or comments.

This was a great experience. I do not do many home improvements so when I do it's a big deal for me. I called Troy due to their "Package Specials" which includes 50 Sq ft of granite, a new sink and new faucet and installation. It was a GREAT deal!! They came out and measured, I went to the showroom (which is VERY impressive!) and picked out my slab. 2 days later they came and installed it. It looks awesome, the price was great and the sink and new faucet are killer. Very good quality stuff all professionally installed. Only minor surprise was they do not haul away the old counter tops. They put them outside which was fine. I jst called for a special pick up. No biggie, just a minor surprise. No hidden fees or high pressure sales. This was a straight up easy, great deal!!!!
