Troy Granite

My first impression of Troy Granite was its avery large warehouse. Walk inside and Bam beautiful stone displays, clean, neat, and friendly staff. The entire experience was simple, The sales personnel explained everything I needed to know about the process and the products. The counter tops are beautiful. I recommend Troy Granite for counter tops and stone projects to everyone.

We found a piece of stone that we loved in their showroom and was assisted by a very helpful and friendly sales person (Jaime) who was our contact through the whole job. When the new cabinets were installed, we scheduled a template person who arrived promptly and made measurements with laser scanner. The layout arrived quickly via email which I approved for stone cutting. Installers arrived on time schedule and did excellent job. Countertop looks just as beautiful as I had hoped. This is my second experience with Troy as I also had kitchen countertops done a few years ago.

We had an issue with the delivery of the wrong stone. Communication errors on both parts

The work went quickly and as promised. When my plumber took the new faucet out of the sealed box, he found a crimp in one of the leads. After installation, this caused a high pitch noise when the faucet was running. Troy quickly sent another faucet for the plumber and all is well.

Love the stone hate the seams. We finally had to have someone else come in after several attempts to "fix" the seams that were cut horribly with a dull blade. They had no problem running to the back with our check, but getting anyone to return our calls was like pulling teeth. FInally we reported them to BBB. Apparently so did others I wish we would have looked there first. They lied and said that they contacted us etc. If you have a counter that requires seams. RUN !! We paid $5,000 for a beautiful stone and a two month long headache. It would have cost more money to take them to court. By the all was said and done we spent way too much time on the counter in addition to days of loss work while we sat home waiting for them to show up and fix something that they couldn't do. We should have demanded that they rip out the entire counter and start over. It was just way too time and money to deal with them any further

Installers were professional and very cooperative. Salesman and cutting of granite extremely poor with no customer support or effort to correct crooked and short cuts on 3 pieces of granite. Company stated there were 3 different pieces, but marks on bottom of granite was same leading me to believe they re-cut the incorrectly cut granite more than once. All this making it worse each time. Worse, the salesman continued trying to pawn this crap off on my family. Disgraceful and very unprofessional. Do Not go here for your business.

Their responsiveness was pretty good. I know it is all individualized and people have different preferences. I wish they could have helped me better know what I was looking for. Basically, they did not really provide me with much guidance or help. They did the job quickly.

The beginning was great. When we went in prior to fabrication were told that we would have seams. I wasn't thrilled, but accepted the fact that the counter may not match, however having a thick seam/line directly down the center was not what we expected. I commented on the sheet before the installers left and made the mistake of paying them. They must have driven directly to my back to cash the check when they left our home. 1. We should have put it on a credit card at least so that we could dispute this. They came out the first time and the manager tried to tell my husband there was nothing wrong but sent the installers back in an attempt to "fix" the seam. They came out and said, there was nothing they could do. We called back again. Despite calling for several days without a response we filed a complaint with the BBB. Once we had them involved they returned the call and sent someone out again to try to change the color of the 1/4 inch white line down a black granite counter. I won't even go into the seams behind the sink. The seam itself is not only thick, but not even close to the color of the counter. It's obviously chipped because the blade was dull. I posted pics on Houzz after being told by several contractors that this was completely unacceptable to make sure that we were not beign overly picky. We were told that this was one of the worst seams people have ever seen. I can't even tell you how disgusted we are. Troy Granite's version of the truth is completely warped. Getting them to turn a phone call and come out was like pulling teeth. What got us the most was when they said they spent hours at our house and then called them to say how happy we were. Their days must seem really long because the "hours" they spent in reality were 20 minutes long - tops. I don't know who were talking to but it certainly was not us. If you look at the BBB site for them there are 4 complaints filed in the past few months. No, they never once called us to follow up. Unfortunately we will have to take them to court to resolve this. We did not pay for the $1800 special. We paid almost $5000 for a breathtaking granite counter with visible lines from several feet away. I wanted a counter that says "wow". I sure got it. ..smh

My wife and I could not be happier with our new kitchen countertops from Troy Granite! We considered four area companies to do the job and chose Troy Granite based on their competitive pricing, material selection, and reputation for quality. Looking at the beauty and craftsmanship of the finished product, I am convinced that we chose the right company and I can recommend them without reservation. The sales staff was courteous and knowledgable, but never pushy as we made our selection over the course of several showroom visits. We were pleased that the templating process, which uses digital technology, did not require that our existing countertops be removed for measurement, so we were not left without the use of the kitchen. The installation process went off without a hitch. The installation team arrived on time and were courteous and professional. They removed the old countertops, installed the new ones along with the sink and faucet, polished the countertops, cleaned up the kitchen, and then spent time explaining how to clean and care for the granite surfaces. I should also mention that the faucet we selected happened to be out of stock on the day of the install; as a replacement, Troy offered a selection of upgraded, more expensive models for us to choose from and installed our choice at no additional charge. The plumber, who arrived as the countertop installation neared completion, completed the job by connecting the sink and the faucet and installing a new garbage disposal.

We ran into an issue with one. We had picked out the top, and when we had given them the dimensions to cut it, they could not find the top. We were able to find a top that was close to the same, so we were able to work with that. They stood behind their service and let us pick out something similar. When they came for installation, they were on time and it went really quick and smooth. They cut the faucet handles on site and they didn't leave it very messy. They did it orderly. I would recommend them.

BEWARE ! They Do Not back their products ! The special faucet they supplied was defective and failed in less than 60 days! After being ignored and stonewalled by their customer service people we were forced to hire our own plumber to clean up their mess! Arguing with their "customer service" guy is not my idea of fun! Especially when told we were on our own to have it fixed after spending over $2400. Terrible Experience! Use these people at your own risk!!

We chose to use another company

Working with Troy Granite from the showroom to the install was a breath of fresh air. The showroom visit was pleasant, educated staff that helped when needed but did not aim to hard sell anything. I enjoyed the no pressure atmosphere and walking around to see all the choices. Once I decided on what I wanted the paperwork process with Fatih was a breeze. He set clear expectations of timing for follow up appointments and delivered a great product at a very competitive price. Two days after our order was placed, a team of two people came out to the house to measure the bathrooms, they were polite and arrived exactly on time for the appointment, they were in and out within 20 minutes and went over everything before they left to assure we were satisfied with their visit as well as moving to the next steps. Next came install day. Again a team of 3 very polite men arrived and explained what they were doing and introduced themselves. They arrived exactly on time and called 30 minutes before arriving as a heads up. They worked quickly and very cleanly, we remarked how we didn't even need to touch up any paint in the bathrooms with them removing countertops and installing new ones. They did a phenomenal job and we were super impressed. Upon leaving they again went through a checklist to make sure everything went as planned and it did. I would absolutely recommend Troy Granite with confidence. You cannot go wrong with them, and we look forward to doing our kitchen in the future with them. Keep up the great work and great customer service!

The sales manager (Onur) was very accommodating - took lots of time with us helping us pick out granite. We picked out a good product and like it very much. We bought the tile and granite from Troy ... and they are both beautiful We had an issue with the leveling of our cabinets but the carpenter (subcontracted by Troy) stayed with it and got the cabinets leveled. It was a huge job - he spent more than 7 hours getting the cabinets leveled. The only issue was with the toe kicks - they were removed and not put back. The carpenter would not answer my numerous phone calls. I had to hire someone to put them in for me. The granite installers were very, very understanding. They had to spend the day doing other jobs because we didn't have the cabinets leveled. But they were so kind and when it finally came time to install the granite, they were polite and very professional. They were at our house until 8:00 at nite! But they did a great job and we love the granite. Very happy. The tile backsplash installers were absolutely wonderful. They were efficient and professional. The did excellent work and the backsplash looks exactly like we wanted it to. Very happy. All in all, we had an extremely positive experience with Troy and will use them when we do our master bath renovations. Very satisfied - wonderful job.

So far so good. We hope it stays that way.... Signed a contract tonight to have countertops installed at the end of the month. We really hope the install goes well and we will updated after installation is complete.

Everything from scheduling, templating, and installation went well. We were supposed to get a call before their arrival for installation, but did not. Not a big deal but they arrived on time.

We went to several different warehouses to look at Granite. Troy Granite had a huge selection (you can select the exact slab they will use, which is nice because each slab has unique colors and patterns). All of the people working there were sharp. They could quickly calculate the cost of all the changes and add-ons. (we got a large single sink as an add-on). They only get shipments every 8 weeks or so, so it is nice to get there when the shipment is just in so that you can have the biggest selection. They are super busy--slightly over booked due to having lower prices than the competitors. The team that installed did a great job except they dinged up one cabinet. They noted the ding on the work order that I signed, so I expected to hear back from them regarding this but I never did. Other than that the experience was great. Nice people. They were kind to my kids who came with me a couple of times to look at the granite.

I found the stone I liked in their showroom and scheduled a meeting at my house to measure and give me an estimate. I accepted the estimate and scheduled a detailed template layout at my house. Both Troy staff members arrived on schedule and performed their part quickly and accurately. I received the layout on the stone I selected and approved it for cutting and scheduled installation. They arrive on schedule with a crew of three and did a careful job of removing the old formica counter top and installed the new granite. Everything fit well and was skillfully joined to minimize the seams. They gave the counter top a polish and their plumber arrived to hook up the sink and stove top. Everything looks beautiful and I am very satisfied with the workmanship. The whole experience was smooth and professional.

Everyone from the showroom, to the rep who created the template (who called the day of and asked to arrive early, which was great) to the installers were all a pleasure to work with. The finished product looks awesome! My only complaint is that the tapering transition of the beveled edge as it meets the backsplash was forgotton on one corner by the fridge. Not very noticable at all... The best part was the price! Nearly $2k cheaper that the other quotes that we received from the big box stores. We reccommended to someone else who was using a FRIEND to do their granite... they got a second quote from Troy and saved over $3k!

I was promissed and they delivered a full uncut piece of Granite. They brought the samples to my house so I could look at them with my decor. Very pleased with every aspect from sales to install, they did a very good job. At the end of the install I was presented with the cut out from the sink. It makes a beautiful butcher block.

This was the second time I employed them. The first involved new kitchen counter tops. On the kitchen project, I especially liked the opportunity to come to the factory and discuss how they would cut the slab I selected in order to minimize seams and optimize the look of the grain in the stone. They have an excellent selection, are competitively priced, arrived on time, installed the counter tops professionally and cleaned up after themselves. On the bathroom project, they worked with me to get remnants that fit the job, which saved me quite a bit. I had my handyman pull out the old counter tops and used a plumber to re-install faucets and the dishwasher.

The sales representative, Dan, came to my house and provided excellent suggestions. He was very professional, understood what I needed and evaluated some options which would work best for me. On subsequent trips I made to their showroom, he stopped what he was doing to take care of me immediately. The installers were punctual and professional. They made a recommendation to address an issue with a hole in my wall when they removed the old backsplash (not their doing) and the end result was fantastic. The only thing that was not great was the cost for the plumber. I wanted one-stop shopping so I included the plumbing work with the granite work, and I realize I could have found another plumber who was less expensive. All in all, if the cost of the plumber was a little more reasonable, I'd rate this job an A+. In spite of that, it's still a solid A!

Went very well. Were punctual and when one spot of concern was found, they came back in a timely fashion and rectified it.

from the time we entered Troy Granite's office/showroom we were treated exceptionally well. We were given time to look over all the slabs of granite in the warehouse without any pressure to buy. Once we made a decision our sales rep was very patient while we narrowed our choice down to the final slab. Template and install was scheduled in less than 2 weeks. Faruk arrived as scheduled to template the kitchen. He was professional and cleaned up behind himself. Install date was as scheduled. When the installers arrived and went to install the countertop, the cutout for the sink was in the wrong place. They called the office, made another template and informed us they would return the next day to complete the installation. As promised, they returned (a different install team) and completed the installation. We have been completely satisfied with Troy Granite from the welcome we received when we arrived at their showroom through the final install. Their courteous and professional staff are an asset to this company.
