water heater repair

Description of Work: After appointment set up by phone, company rep called to say unable to make it after all until next day. When service provider arrived he asked what the problem was. I explained that since I suddenly noticed lots of water on garage floor, I assumed that water is leaking from water heater. I also stated that it appeared that the leak was from the top of the heater. Without even inspecting the water heater, the serviceman quoted a price of $2,600 for replacement of same. I did not have the work done and left for 6 months in FL the next day. I paid the $91.00 fee and will NOT have Service Mark replace the water heater this spring when I return.
