Description of Work: Speed is their strength. We were not satisfied with the prep work done before painting. Our job required much prep- we have new baseboard (filling and sanding holes) and areas with peeling paint to repair. Mike assured us during the estimate that all prep.work would be done to our satisfaction. As the job was winding done and Mike decided they were finished (we were still working with the foreman on areas to touch-up), he explained that the quality should be judged from 3 feet away. Unfortunately for us our expectations were higher. We have previously done our own wall prep before painting, and wished we had done it this time.

Description of Work: Painted upstairs and downstairs hallway. The crew and paint job was awesome expect that the paint did not match existing color upstairs. Did not like the initial responds by owner when I complained but he doubtfully agreed to rectify problem. After two phone calls discussing issue I said I would fix the problem. I was done with them at that point. Again, really good paint job but needs work on customer service skills. Might use them again in the future.

Description of Work: I hired J Michaels Paitning to paint my living room, dining room, stairway, and upstairs hallway. The office was very quick to respond to my online quote inquiry, and the owner himself came to the house to give me an estimate. He was very professional and thorough in explaining how he would approach the job. I was pleased that he would be able to complete all of the work in one day and that I was able to book the work within a week of selecting this company. (Other painters I had contacted said it would take 2-3 days to do the work and it would be a month before they could schedule me). The painting crew was punctual, very polite, and did a great job. I am already thinking about hiring J. Michaels to do some additional painting in our home later this year.

Description of Work: The entire house, including all trim, was power washed. The cedar siding was stained the exact color requested, and all trim was stained to enhance the appearance of the house. The crew was courteous, professional, punctual. After the house was stained, every detail was reviewed for perfection. The tools were removed, and the area scrutinized for any signs of workmen. The yard and work area was left in pristine condition. | |We were delighted with the exemplary quality of the work, and with the polite demeanor of the crew. We unequivocally recommend J. Michael's Painting.

Description of Work: I sent them a message and got an immediate response. Mike came out and gave me a price for repairing one bathroom and removing wallpaper, repairing it and painting 2 upstairs bathrooms. Part of one bathroom will have a faux finish applied. We also got a quote on repainting the master bedroom, bathroom, closets, ceiling and trim on all, along with completely painting the hallway upstairs and the stairwell. It's going to be a 2 day job and between our schedules we have decided to wait until early July to get the work done - but I can't wait!

Description of Work: Painted family room, foyer, and upstairs landing. Left small splatters of spilled paint on our rug. We did not see this until after they left.
