quick and easy

Between good and fair, but closer to fair. The quality of his work is good, but what he charges for labor is just to high and not really competitive for the market. Was spotty on responsiveness with periods of no response followed up by excellent response. Once appointments were scheduled, he was very punctual. Very nice, clean, professional guy, but he just needs to work on his responsiveness and pricing.

When I set up the appointment he wanted me to go look an Just Cabinets. I did not go because I wanted him to come out first I did not think it was right to go pick cabinets before meeting with him. He was pleasant and on time I liked his disposition but way over priced.

Rick came in and inspected the walls and opened 2 walls but it was not mold it was mildew he then found out why it was doing what it had done. I was air cerculation probem , needed to put in a cold air return in another room GRATE GUY WILL DO MORE WORK WITH Him IN THE FUTURE . This will be done in the future

I hate plumbing... I bought 3 new dual-flush toilets, 3 new bathroom faucets and a new kitchen faucet. Since I was replacing the plumbing fixtures in each room, I decided to install new quarter-turn valves for each item. Rick quoted each install like a menu that I could order from. But he also offered me a daily rate for services rendered. After seeing what Rick had been able to do on previous work on my home, I eagerly took the daily rate option. Day 1 went swimmingly. Day 2, however, went downhill fast when a cracked CPVC pipe behind a vanity would not allow us to turn the water back on to the house. Rick expertly handled the situation and put in a couple hours of OT getting my home back in working condition. Cracked pipes aside, the project came to a close on time and on budget. Rick's "over and above" attitude and work ethic guarantees that he will be coming back for my next project that is over my head.

I think it was a Tuesday. With a rain storm predicted for the weekend, and a wet section of drywall in my kitchen from the last storm, I quickly joined Angie's List to find a local contractor. After perusing several bigger contractor write-ups, I searched by distance from my house and found Home Services Unlimited within a mile of my house. I called and Rick was at my house 20 minutes later. 10 minutes after that he was on my roof, ripping siding off my house. ( a little scary having a guy I knew nothing about tearing a hole in the side of my house) Rick assessed the situation and told me that he thought he knew exactly what caused the problem. He explained to me what he thought caused the problem and gave a detailed path forward. He broke the job into two parts. Outside repairs/gutter clean-out and drywall repair. We then discussed his business philosophy and his experience - I was sold. On repair day, Rick showed up when promised (a very good sign) and was able to complete the repairs quickly and efficiently. With the roof finished, I could rest easy and we put off the drywall repairs for a few days. Fortunately for me, the torrential rain that came over the weekend overtaxed my recently-cleaned gutters which damaged yet another section of drywall in my kitchen. Once the rain cleared out, Rick assessed each spot and decided that not all needed to be repaired. Ultimately, we came in under budget, but since we found additional problems as the project evolved, we ended up at the original quoted price and all of my repairs were finished and didn't look like repairs. Nice!

I obtained this company from Angie's list. I selected primarily because they were close by. They photographed the gutters before and after treatment. Also performed related cleaning in adjacent gutters no charge. Alerted me to other work that should be done. They did not show up on the date originally scheduled due to heavy rain. I do not fault this, except they should have called to confirm that they needed to reschedule. Otherwise I am quite satisfied with their work.
