The project went very well. Tony is very professional and extremely reliable! He made himself immediately available when I had questions after the work was done. Great worker, very knowledgeable and does excellent work. I highly recommend his services and expertise!!!

The entire experience was perfect, from setting up the appointment to the completion of the actual work. The price was exactly what I was told on the phone and the appointment was within 5 minutes of the expected arrival time. Would definitely use again. I even learned a new route to and from work that is much easier and quicker!

Tony arrived on time and started trying to determine what would cause a toilet to back-up only on an occasional basis - with or without anything more than a Kleenex in the bowl. It was determined that the toilet, installed by the contractor who built the house 7 years ago, was flawed. This is not a common problem, but with any/all mass-produced item, it can happen. He replaced the toilet with a new American Standard toilet that is comfort height, elongated bowl with high flush pressure. It was also determined that the main drain going to the outside of the house has little to no slope - don't know what or if there is a proper slope from outside the house to the main sewer in the street. In any case the high pressure of the new toilet fixed the problem. Bottom line: He spent 4+ hours here and the problem appears to be solved. Great value!

Tony was great. He came over initially to assess the situation and make suggestions. He then worked with me to set up an appointment that fit both of our busy schedules. He was able to complete the work in a timely manner and even cleaned up after himself!! I would highly recommend Sussex Plumbing and Home Services.

He designed the plumbing so that it was unobtrusive and as aesthetically pleasing as possible. His work is smart and neat. Tony took care explaining his plans and showing me how to winterize the shower.

I expected that with a full schedule, the most Tony would be able to do would be a quick assessment and perhaps an agreement to come back the next day. However, by the time I arrived home at 6:00 pm, Tony was finishing up the job. He went way above and beyond, as he literally had to dig his way under the trailer (the crawlspace near the leak was too shallow for anyone to crawl into). He checked all the water lines, found the leak, fixed it, and gave us a thorough explanation of what had happened and how he had made the repair. He was very courteous and helpful, and the bill was far less than I expected. Truly a great experience with a fantastic business. I would highly recommend him to anyone that could use his services, and will be calling him back soon for some other minor repairs. He is absolutely my new "fix it guy"! A+++++

It is very hard to find good contractors this time of the year because they are swamped with work with the influx of people during the beach season. I just bought a 15 year old home and I am in the process of remodeling it. None of the work was an emergency, but, I did need to update some of the plumbing before I could proceed with other remodeling. Tony fit me in to his very busy schedule to take a look at the work that needed to be done. I thought I might have to special order toilets with a 10" offset, but, I was measuring incorrectly. Tony advised me that the space used a standard 12" offset toilet. That saved me from ordering the wrong item that would have been much more expensive. He scheduled to come out and do all the work 2 weeks later. He arrived on the date and time scheduled and completed all the work in about 6 yours. I had pre purchased the toilets, faucets and hand held shower and Tony had everything on his truck to replace all of the necessary supply lines and valves where needed. The price included removal and disposal of all the old items and he will recycle whatever can be recycled. I will call him again when I get to the kitchen projects and need to replace the dishwasher.

Tony went above and beyond, by fixing one of the filters in the system that was defective out of the box ...The home is a rental property and we had no time to wait on a replacement... I would Highly recommend Sussex Plumbing for all of your Plumbing needs!

I called approximately 2:30 or 3:00 in the afternoon. Initially, I went to voice-mail. Tony's wife Cindy called back almost immediately and was very polite and professional. She told me that Tony was busy and that he was currently on a job in Bethany. After finishing the Bethany job, Tony came over and spent three or so hours fixing the problem. Once completed, he ensured that the pump was working as it should to include the pressure switch and pressure tank. He ensured that the bladder in the pressure tank was properly inflated. All of which was done in a small, wet crawl space. Tony's attitude was always positive and upbeat. The cost was approximately half what I had anticipated. Would EASILY recommend him and Sussex Plumbing again. AFTER the work was done, we realized that we had mutual friends. Small world.

We recently purchased a home in Lewes and were concerned about our conditioned crawl space (with all our mechanicals) if we were to lose electricity. Tony gave us an education on our options for a back-up for our sump. He spent a great deal of time with us and brought relevant literature to assist us in understanding something about which we knew nothing. We had already received an estimate from another plumber and, not only, was Tony more reasonable in price, but also, he was far more professional and interested in meeting our needs. On the day of installation, Tony was caught in traffic (roadwork) and called to update us. He arrived only a tad late and stayed for quite a while to get the job done right. We would absolutely recommend him to others.

I called Cindi at t Sussex Plumbing and Home Services to advise her of my plumbing problems and she had Tony the plumber call me right back. I explained the problem to him and how long it was since we had water and he advised me that he would come out the next day on the way back from another job, he already had scheduled. He arrived and assessed the problem right away. He tallied up the parts list gave me a quote to fix the problem and had water running in no time. He replaced only what was needed to be replaced and in a timely manner. Would I recommend them to someone else, YES I would, even though his schedule is rather full during the summer months Tony is very sincere and knowledgeable in what he does. I have several other jobs that he can do and I hope he is available to do them. I found it very hard to find a plumber in Sussex County that went the extra mile as he did for me. He was the third Plumber I called for the same problem and all the previous plumbers just made things worse that he had to straighten out. Thank you Sussex Plumbing and Home Services again for a job well done.

Tony is awesome. Very personable. Very informative. Explained why it happened and didn't just fix the shower but improved the design so we would avoid the same situation next year. Would highly recommend him!

Tony was prompt , very professional and cordial.He had to make several trips under the house to complete the work. I spoke to Tony over the phone a week prior and I explained the water problems and work that had been done so far. He promised to stop over to the beach house and check out the pipes without our being at the house (its a 2 hour drive). He arrived within a week of our conversation and checked the pipes. After a phone consultation, he proceeded to do all of the repair work required within the day. The house was available for use for the holiday weekend. This was indeed a surprise! He installed an easy access shutoff and drain valve at my request so that we could avoid using the underground shutoff as much as possible. He thoroughly explained all of the work he was going to and did so that I could understand. He recommended additional tips and work to be done prior to the next winter season. He left the old pipes he replaced out so that I could see the damage. I was very happy with the work and the response from both Tony and Cindi. I will definitely call on them again.

We really liked the owner of this company. He not only did a good job but was very professional and friendly at the same time. He explained each step to us so we would understand the procedure and the parts he installed. WE WOULD USE HIM AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT!!!!!!!!

The shower head in my master bathroom had literally fallen apart. I selected this contractor, Sussex Plumbing and Home Services, by reading others' ratings and recommendations on Angie's List, and obviously made a stellar choice ! I called on a Tuesday morning, left a brief voicemail explaining the problem and that it was not an emergency situation, and I received a call back within an hour. Tony, master plumber and owner of the business, listened, advised, estimated the cost of repair/replacement/installation, and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. He arrived as scheduled, introduced himself with a business card, and installed a shower head that I had pre-purchased at our local Home Depot. The work was done quickly, cleanly, and expertly and the fee was exactly as estimated. My experience today was more than satisfactory....When I need more work done in my home, I know who to call to get the job done promptly and correctly, and I will be recommending Tony and Sussex Plumbing and Home Services to my neighbors without any reservation.

I am absolutely happy with how the work turned out. I don't have to worry about my pipes bursting or anything now. They are a very great company and I will always recommend them to our family and friends.

He did an excellent job. He was quick and timely. He called before he came. He gave us a price before the job was complete.

Tony did excellent work and also worked underneath the house to install the new hose outlet. He was helpful, friendly, and competent. One concern was that he told us that he could do other work in addition to plumbing, so we asked him back to look at other items around the house that we needed to have done. However, after a month of waiting he contacted us to recommend someone else to do the work and said that he would be available just for plumbing work. That is fine, but then he should not have said that he would do other work than plumbing.

His price was fair and he left the work area clean and neat. I would recommend his work to any friend.

We had multiple projects (described above) completed in a secondary residence that we own. In each case, we were completely satisfied with the work that Tony performed. Because we are there only a few days every other week, it was necessary for Tony to work within our schedule, which he did without complaint. He also arrived when he said he would, which was important since these projects took several days to complete. It was obvious from the beginning that he was a very skillful and knowledgeable plumber, and we benefitted mightily from his expertise. In addition, my wife and I were extremely pleased with his aesthetic sense, since this house dates back to the late 19th century, and great care needs to be taken with any changes lest the integrity of the structure be underminded. Tony shared this concern and installed the new hardware and made plumbing modifications with great care. When there were multiple options as to how to proceed, Tony was always careful to consult with us before undertaking the work. And despite the fact that Tony encountered several unforeseen problems, he never deviated from the price he had quoted us, which I felt was quite reasonable given the nature of the projects to be completed. Based on our experiences, my wife and I have concluded that Tony is the best plumber that we have ever employed. I would give Suseex Plumbing my highest rating, would urge you to engage that company for any plumbing needs you may have, and would not hesitate to do so again should the need arise.
