Description of Work: Tony has done multiple jobs for us: installed new whole house shut off valve, fixed leaking faucets, cleaned out gutters, replaced outdoor shower faucets. He is busy, so it is sometimes hard to schedule a quick appointment and he seems to show up a little later than scheduled. But his work is all excellent. He is very friendly. He has good suggestions about the best way to do the job. I will use him again.

Description of Work: Checked for any leaks that could contribute to excessive running of my well pump. Went through entire house to check for any leaks. Did dye test on toilets. Went under house and checked pump tank but DID NOT find anything that he thought would contribute to problem. Checked and cleaned out washing machine hot and cold water supply. That fixed problem of hardly any COLD water from entering machine. Turns out that another plumber from another company LATER found a pressure gauge was bad and replaced it. A well pump tech found leak in well pump fixed leak and re inserted it to it's proper position and solved original problem of excessive running of well pump. Tony was very friendly and easy to work with.

Description of Work: Misc plumbing repairs and new installation of faucets

Description of Work: We didn't have any water pressure. Come to find out it was a clogged filter. Also he checked our RO and switched the hot and cold water lines to a bathroom upstairs.

Description of Work: Scheduled them to come on a Sunday. No extra charge for weekend. We needed exterior pipes that cracked over the winter repaired. Plumber explained what was needed, proposed options, installed new pipe and valves where needed, coached us on how to better prevent it in the future. Showed us parts that were removed. A very good experience. We would use this company again.

Description of Work: Sussex could not perform the work due to a backlog on their part because of the recent bad weather. However, the owner did call me back to explain this instead of scheduling me and then having to cancel. I liked the professionalism with which the owner and his wife handled my call and appreciated his advice on my situation.

Description of Work: They were overloaded with work and recommended another local plumber - this was not an EMERGENCY - just a broken faucet handle - and I was very satisfied with their response. Their recommendation handled our problem very well.

Description of Work: This service was to replace a kitchen faucet. The service was excellent, on time and personable. He replaced the old, leaky faucet, was very personable to speak to, cleaned up the area afrer he finished and worked in a timely manner. Great job.

Description of Work: I had a water pipe break under my house and since I was new to the area and didn't know a plumber to call I looked in the Yellow Pages. I picked Sussex Plumbing and called. Tony came to my home within 15 minutes of my call. He assessed the problem and had it repaired within 30 minutes, crawling under the house to do so. He also checked my outside faucets for leaks and tightened connections on both. I mentioned that I had an electrical problem inside my house and Tony checked that out, corrected it. He charged me only for the water pipe repair, $65.00. I consider myself very fortunate to have found such a professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and personable person. I had him come back to repair a leaky toilet later on and again was very happy with the whole encounter. I don't remember what he charged me for that repair but I know that I won't be afraid to call for repairs in the future due to the cost. I not only recommend Sussex Plumbing to all my neighbors but I made sure I recommended him to Angie's List.
