I will never schedule to have work done after a four day weekend again. The guy that cleaned outside was good. But the other worker seem to be tried from the long weekend. After a call they return the next morning to complete what was missed.

Windows sparkled when they were done. The staff was very polite and careful in my home. I have 8 wood sash windows with storms and 5 wood sash windows without storms. These are not the type that can be washed from the inside so it involved ladders to clean the outside windows on my 2-story home. My only complaint was not all the screens were clipped in properly when they left … just a few minutes more and everything would have been perfect. There was an initial mix-up in scheduling – the owner offered a 10% discount without my requesting anything.

It was fantastic. A team of 3 came to the house 15 minutes prior to the stated time of arrival and were ready to work. We walked all three floors, answered any questions that I had, explained to me the plan of work, and then got to work. They did exactly what they said they would do. They were very careful with all the windows - some has old glass. They did a great job - the windows are sparkling. The three guys were very nice, polite and professional. They worked through lunch. They gave 100%+ effort the complete time at our home. We were very pleased with the work. We definitely will use this business again and will refer them to others.

Steve was very responsive to my call and provided a quote immediately over the phone. He was able to set an appointment within a week's time and followed up within an hour with an email along with the quote he had discussed over the phone. His two man crew arrived exactly at the time he had promised - they were both extremely polite, friendly and professional. They quickly explained how they would complete the job, asked if I had any questions and then very quickly set to work. Both men completed the job in the timeframe promised and went out of their way to be unobtrusive and quiet while they worked. When they finished with the job and had cleaned up they asked for feedback on the job and asked for my level of satisfaction. They provided me with the invoice and left and then it took one last call to Steve to provide my credit card information to pay the invoice. Steve also asked about my satisfaction with the job and thanked me for my business and promised he would contact me again this time next year for cleaning. I was extremely satisfied with the price and the work and would definitely recommend Steve and his employees and plan to use them again next year!

Nice job! I appreciated the emails from Steve to confirm appointment, what to expect and proof of insurance. After coming out the first time, they team realized they underestimated the height of my windows and had to reschedule until they had the proper equipment and manpower. When they returned, they were very professional and took time to cover flooring and surfaces to avoid drips. I did notice a few splatters of cleaning solution down below and on wall TV after they left but in the end the job was done well and at a reasonable price. Will use again in the future.

1st State was very professional, neat and respectful. I would definitely have them back, they worked hard. I have had other window cleaners leave a mess on the walls and window sills, and this was not the case with 1st State. They did have a problem with one of my windows and the sash cracked, but let me know about it right away.

Gave great information by phone and email, workers arrived promptly and communicated well, house and windows look good. Happy with service. Will have them back next year or before then for interior work if needed.

Arrived on time and did great job. Price was quoted at $295.00 but with Angie's List 5% off coupon I only paid $ 280.25. Will definitely use them again.

I had City Window in Wilmington DE clean my windows last year. I was less than thrilled when they showed up because they looked very scary. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt but these guys appeared way too rough around the edges. This review is from someone who grew up in the inner city near New York City. So if I say someone looked rough, you just got to believe me. On to the review of 1st State Window Cleaning LLC. I couldn't have been more thrilled when they arrived on time. They had a clearly marked vehicle, were nice and courteous, and didn't look like jail birds. Sorry to be harsh with the jail reference but honestly, you have to think about who is in your house doing work, especially around your wife and kids. They explained everything in painstaking detail. I was very surprised that they didn't want to make a move until we as homeowners were crystal clear on what needed to be accomplished. They sent two guys to do the job (I have 56 windows and 40 screens) and even added two more as they checked the weather report and found out it was going to rain!!! I never even thought about checking the weather but 1st State did! They were quick and worked efficiently. The job started on time at 8:00 am and per my wife I believe they left a little before 4:00 pm. Our windows, garage doors, exterior doors, and shutters were all spotless. They did such a good job that even after it rained I couldn't see any dirt or streaks. I was told they use a professional strength window cleaner. That's good because City Window only used Joy dish detergent and water. Not good. All summed up, I would recommend 1st State Window Cleaning. It's not too often that we have a good all-around experience with service people but this one turned out to surprise us.

After an initial "glitch" over the date of service, which Steve readily took responsibility for, we proudly rescheduled and couldn't be happier.

Crew was on time however the quality of work could have been much better. Several window frames and sills were completely missed. When the gentlemen called for payment and I told him of the probems he offered a 5% discount on the next visit and assured me that statisfactions was their number one priorirty. But I dont think we will be using them again.

I found 1st State Window Cleaning on Angie's list and I was not disappointed. I contacted them through email and got an immediate response. I had an estimate for both houses (one that's to become a rental and our new house). The cost was very reasonable considering they probably cleaned 35 or so windows. The two guys who came to the house were very polite, professional and quiet. They wore coverings over their shoes the entire time they were in our houses. The windows on our townhouse were filthy and they came out sparkling!! Our new house didn't have as much wear and tear, but you could definitely tell once you saw the sparkle on the windows and doors. I would recommend this service to friends and family!

After several revisions in date/time of service, Steve was on time. He and his assistant worked diligently finished around the estimated time. Their work was of good quality. Price comparable to other estimates.

They have done a great job 3 years in row. Will continue to use them.

The two gentlemen were pleasant, professional, and polite. They even replaced the batteries in three power window blinds for me! I will use them again in the spring.

Found 1st State on Angie's list. We called for an estimate. The owner responded promptly - got a description of what we wanted. He gave me an estimate and followed-up with an email. He called twice before the appointment. He was on time and the windows, sills, and screens are very clean.

This is the 2nd year I have had this. They were very accomodating about my schedule change.
